What I'd love to see is for those dual chamber ITX case designs come to ATX size. With the GPUs becoming more and more power hungry(generating more heat), the GPU dumping all the heat into the intake of the CPU is something to improve upon. Especially as we are nearing the limits of air-cooling as is with the high-end components. Someone running a 4090 and 14900K air-cooled is going to be within licking distance of thermal throttling in a lot of scenarios at stock voltages.
I am predicting that in a few years the most popular cases will be the ones with no transparent panels. Cases like mac pro with different patterns will become the most popular ones.

Finally something new with the Evolv X2! But my OCD is freaking out of that sudden end of that accent color on the front. It should go all the way around, without stopping.
Its really a nice design case. But the problem is the gpu is blocking the air circulation. I only use cpu air coolers and for me this case with side vertikal fans would be a perfect match
Whos to say you cant intake from the rear for the CPU heatsink? This is what SFF builds do when they only have bottom intake. (Just like here it gets completely blocked by the GPU)
Evolv X2: Blue LEDs with aluminium / silver looks good. Think the gold / brass would be better with white LEDs. That case could be used in some really pretty builds.
One thing cases need to do is support Arctic freezer III top mounting. Most cases don't offer this. The freezer is is 63mm thick compared to most AiOs being 55mm
Dang, I just finished an upgraded build in my old case, the Lian Li 011 Evo and after upgrading to the Corsair QX series of fans, I figured I was done. For the Evolv X2 I don't see airflow getting to the MB (RAM, VRM, M2). Might have to use the rear fan as an intake to bring cool air into the upper half. It looks like 140mm fans would fit in the base which might help.
The Evolv x2 looks killer. I would love to see a “floating bracket” for a res/pump combo towards the front for a custom loop. In the end, If the case supports a full closed loop, it will be my next build. And congratulations D, on your newest member!

Great to see Dmitry back, I admit that I've missed his segments, particularly his insane editing and unrelenting obsession on production value. Glad you're cycling back dude, congrats on the baby! Seems like everyone I knew had kids 20-25 years ago, and now it seems like everyone I know is having kids again (different people obviously). It's not that they aren't still incredible as teens and young adult, it's just that from age 0 to 13, they're "your" children, while when they become teens and young adults they become more influenced by/concerned about friends/boyfriends/girlfriends & social media while we're forced to share our little creations with the rest of the world, leaving us to hope we built them a strong foundation. It's also a hard thing as a dad with daughters dealing with the shift from being their everything, the human they love and respect more than anything over to being the most uncool/most embarrassing human they've ever known who they don't want to be seen with, which fortunately only usually lasts until early 20's until it's OK to be seen loving dad again.
I have the EVOLV X and I love the thing, but this X2 just doesn't tickle my fancy. The way the aluminum pieces come together looks bad. I know it's a prototype, but not matching angled cuts and the panel gaps are horrible. A straight cut would be better and easier to produce. What I like about the X is that's it's clean looking and flowy. Looks solid and fits well together. Phanteks really needs to clear the gaps in the X2.
Lets be honest the standard pc case was in need of a new design, I welcome the glass panels and the modular designs of the last few years. I currently have the Phanteks Evolve and it has housed 2 builds since 2017. It was amazing and even while being a mid sized case it had the ability to run rads in the front, also top up to 360mm and a 140mm on the rear. This limits those options but I like the style so I will look at picking this up for my next built.
I love the addition of rear motherboard connector support, but it worries me a bit that msi and ASUS aren’t using any actual standard as one doesn’t exist yet. When and if some format gets standardized those cases could potentially become obsolete. The builds look so clean but personally I’ll wait until there is a standard in place.

The Evolv X2 is gorgeous! And only $149! I'd love to see actual copper for the colored accent panels
I just wanna know when they're gonna do a review on the NV line of cases. Been waiting on performance stats to start a new build!
That Evolv case is really nice. Priced ok too, I bet it will be very popular.
Phantheks doing a great job by them selves in the case market. Really looking forward to see how the new models do.
I'm happy with the NV5 but damn the Evolv looks stunning
Btw congrats on the baby dude! Don't over work yourself and enjoy with your family too.
I love the addition of rear motherboard connector support, but it worries me a bit that msi and ASUS aren’t using any actual standard as one doesn’t exist yet. When and if some format gets standardized those cases could potentially become obsolete. The builds look so clean but personally I’ll wait until there is a standard in place.
welcome back Dmitry and congratulations 🥳🎉
Love aquarium cases. This one new is really beautiful. Congratulation for growing up your family.

Really love the design of the new enthoo. I'm a sucker for full tower but they really are getting rare these days.
first of all, congrats! I hope you enjoy being a dad😊I love phanteks products, their new logo looks great, it really brings out the fan in phanteks lol. Cant wait to see the performance on these cases.
grats on the child!! phanteks is taking over the industry, them and lian li. this case race is so great for the industry.
