Ye we got thous quick connect fittings for air tubes at my work, and thats been there 20-30 years, dunno why nobody did them sooner on computer mainstream
That looks exactly as standard air fittings. I work with air fittings every day. The thing about it is that the higher pressure the stronger the connection. It's harder to disconnect it while it's pressurized. I'm wondering how well it will hold with computer water cooling.
Only critique I have is I wish the front glass had curved edges on the Evolv X2. Also, you're like the best advertisement Phanteks could ever ask for. You're so good at selling this stuff. To be fair, though, it all looks very good as well, so it kind of sells itself.
Curved tempered glass is very tricky to do. Doing one bend is tricky. Doing two bends like you would need to with this case and having the fitment be on point would be very difficult and likely expensive
10:06 The Evolv X2 looks legit good! It combines the best of fishtank dual chamber and traditional cases with a nice wrap-around glass panel. The bottom fan shroud looks like a fully integrated NVIDIA FE. Liking this A LOT! 2:48 About time SATA power is ditched. USB or PCIe power is the way. 5:20 Good to see integration with WIndows dynamic lighting. Hopefully more brands will get on board (looking at you, Cooler Master).
The new Phanteks cases look very user friendly and that price is hard to beat, especially for what they are icing you. When it’s ready for the public, I’d like to see an option with the D30 fans included. I know your time is very limited with this being such a short event, but can I ask for some digital camera booth over-views, possibly even as short as a TH-cam short? Thank you for your coverage and entertainment. BTW, the music is pretty sick.
I do think the Evolv looks cool, but it also looks pretty damn large (height in particular). I would really like to see some of these manufacturers invest some R&D into small and mid form factor cases. Especially with the new options afforded by back connect motherboards.
I genuinely think the Evolv X2 is now the epitome of PC cases, absolute elegance! If this has good airflow then no case will beat this athestetic! it's just pure art, if this is like £200, I'd buy the shit out of it, I mean $149 is such a good price, phenomenal! if it has more that 2 HDD spaces for my workstation storage, Imma snap their arm off and buy 3...
Tough call between the Evolv X2 or your Montech King 95 Ultra that I missed out on. I hope they do another release of your case, or that Phantek finally releases theirs! Can't wait! :)
These fittings work the same way as industrial fittings have been. Look up a brand like Festo and check out their push-in fittings. Good video, they have some nice products in their lineup.
Hi Phatneks, one think I noticed on the Evolve X2 and Im hoping the NV5 doesnt suffer this problem, is lack of Micro ATX BTF/Project stealth compatibility as they do make up the majority of BTF boards. Please make sure these cutouts are added for production units as this would be a HUGE oversight
I want the evolve x2. I would nice if they made a White outer-case with Silver internals or simply all-white evolve x2 seeing how white components are a thing.
Wow, I'm excited about the Enthoo Pro II XL. Finally moved the HDDs on the separated bottom area. I hope it will fit a minimum of 8 x 3.5" away from the inner MB interior on the bottom so that a person can put in a 480mm Artic LFIII (Or similar) in push-pull with 6x of the thicker 140mm ALF3 Max Pro fans. Prefer only opening one window to access the entire system instead of also the other side (For addtiional HDDs) to make installation simpler since I am assuming the case is heavy. Now I wish they could have a space for an upright 4090 sized GPU to use with a PCI-E 5.0 Riser able to free PCI-E slots underneath the GPU for PCI-E expansions like the Lian Li EVO XL. My heart are still set on a server chassis with excellent space and airflow to put 8+ (x) HDDs in RAID 10 for that 50TB+ of storage along with 2 x NVME 5.0 Drives. Should have more than enough storage for the lifetime of the case. Hopefully one day the perfect SSI-EEB/E-ATX case will exist for all this space with the inclusion of an upright GPU.
GOD i hope the final design of the X2 also has a possible airflow focused version so i can use nice air cooler. if so then i would guaranteed buy this case regardless of how much it cost so long as it can also fit a eatx board as well. This along with the lian li lancool 217 are extremely high on my list right now for sleek sexy looking cases.
Phanteks continuing to innovative and bring interesting and useful products to the market. They might even get me to buy a non Lian Li for my next system.
Hey dude, yeah really like this case, my only want would be the back side cover to be removed so the hidden fans is just top and bottom. But could be my next case.
Congrats Phanteks, The Evolv X2 is the best looking, most interesting case I've seen, since the CM HAF X. DON'T FORGET PEOPLE USE HDD, AT LEAST 4 !!!! + 2 SDD = Bare minimum.
Not gonna lie, Phanteks has taken over the case game. Best looking cases hands down. I love my NV7 , and paired with the D30 fans I don't have to use any lighting software at all.
I deal with fittings like that everyday in my job, it's a wonder no pc tech company hasn't integrated them into their design until now it seems. The sleeves look big enough to remove the tubes easily, which is such a pain in my job
when i bought my evolv x, i thought i wouldnt have to buy another case. but ofc i need the x2, holy shit. the corners at the front where the glass panels meets needs to be more seemless
I would like it to be possible to put glass on both sides (front and back) of the evolv X2 so that the fans are only top and bottom and to be possible for the cables to go from the back. since my case is hung on the wall, it's not symmetrical like this.
Curved glass is expensive so we don't need that. I would like to see an option maybe for a mesh back panel and bracket to allow side mounting fans/aios. Not necessary but would be cool.
I see the evolve 2 glass went around the back of the mobo. I wonder if it extends all the way around the back to show off cable management for us cable freaks!
Well I know which case I'll pick for my PC build. And can I just talk about that fire ass intro beat?? That shit sounded like JCOLE was gonna get on it.
Im using ITX Systems for quiet some times now. Every now and then an "ATX Case" pops up which let me think: Mhm ATX might be ok after all. Crazy i had this the last time with the NV5 and NV7. Happens again with the Evolv X2. If i ever want a "Show Case Setup again" its with a Phanteks for sure. Hyte and all the others simply dont reach THAT Level.
Evolv x2 is going to redefine the case industry like the Fractal design Meshify C did back in 2018. There will be plenty of copy cats for this case soon. 👍
phanteks rocking "sharkbite fittings for PC".
absolute baller.
the evolv X2 is absolutely beautiful.
That Evolv X2 looks gorgeous!
That watercooling gear with the fittings all ready installed are awesome.
Those fittings is like sharkbite fittings for Cooper and plastic tubing in houses.

I've always wanted to try Phanteks, for a build. Can't wait for these new cases to hit the market.
I've just built an NV5 with D30 fans, brilliant quality and dead easy to assemble,
The Evolv is looking absolutely incredible!! This is the type of innovation we want
Epic video fams! Some neat stuff coming from Phanteks this year. That Evolv X2, woah, i want one now.
Evolve 2 looks awesome!!
for 149 USD that is really a good case.
I got the Hyte Y40, and this Evolve 2 looks even better.
that Evolv X2 is gorgeus. would love it if it has radiator support in the bottom
I can’t wait to see the mini itx version of the evo x2!
As soon as the evolve x2 comes out, I'm buying it and building it. I hope they have a broad number of colors, and materials for the interior.
The Evolv X2 is amazing! Definitely my next case! Would love to see a gunmetal grey color.
The Evolv X2 is my next case. Wow. Such a great looking case and if it drops at 150 it's a great deal!
Phanteks is really killing it with these new products.
That evolv X2 is stunning 😍 110% getting that case.
That Evolve X2 is absolutely fucking beautiful ! I hope MSI plans on coming out with a full size ATX version of the project zero board for AM5 cpus.
Only critique I have is I wish the front glass had curved edges on the Evolv X2. Also, you're like the best advertisement Phanteks could ever ask for. You're so good at selling this stuff. To be fair, though, it all looks very good as well, so it kind of sells itself.
The curved glass woulda made it so sick. If montech could do it , so can phanteks!
Curved tempered glass is very tricky to do. Doing one bend is tricky. Doing two bends like you would need to with this case and having the fitment be on point would be very difficult and likely expensive
The Evolv X2 looks super freaking dope!

Evolve 2 looks great! Also love the new interlocking fans.
The water cooler fitting is similar to a shark bite fitting for real plumbing at least here in the US
Nice! Always love Phanteks designs!
Those quick connect fittings are similar to "Sharkbite" fittings in the plumbing universe.
The new Phanteks cases look very user friendly and that price is hard to beat, especially for what they are icing you. When it’s ready for the public, I’d like to see an option with the D30 fans included.

Looks cool, hopefully they make it pitch black as well and add some tint to TG as an option.
I do think the Evolv looks cool, but it also looks pretty damn large (height in particular). I would really like to see some of these manufacturers invest some R&D into small and mid form factor cases. Especially with the new options afforded by back connect motherboards.
Love my Evolv X but it might be time for a new case and my first hardline build. Looks amazing, can't wait to give Phanteks my money.
Phanteks Cases have always been on top. This new one is insane my jaw dropped at the price as well.
I genuinely think the Evolv X2 is now the epitome of PC cases, absolute elegance! Banger of a video fams. That case looks amazing
I've been firmly in the SFF space for a while, but that new Evolv X2 has me wanting to build an ATX computer next time.
Nice! Love the evolve X2 - it looks sick!
I want the evolve x2. I would nice if they made a White outer-case with Silver internals or simply all-white evolve x2 seeing how white components are a thing.
Dylan did a fantastic job! Good job Dylan!
i agree the fish tank is the coolest case ever!
Mechanic and plumber: its just pmeumatic fitting.
Conputer enthusiasm: its amazing fitting, never seen fitting like this.
Phanteks is the top dog in my experience. Great stuff always.
They just keep stepping up the game and everyone is chasing their tail.
That evolve x2 is sick! It might be cool enough to get me out of my itx case.
that evolv X2 is super awesome id love to build in that thing
Wow, I'm excited about the Enthoo Pro II XL. Finally moved the HDDs on the separated bottom area. Evolve X2 killer clean look!!
I love the look of the new cases and might try my 1st custom loop with those new hard/soft push fittings built into the rads/blocks/pumps.
GOD i hope the final design of the X2 also has a possible airflow focused version so i can use nice air cooler. if so then i would guaranteed buy this case regardless of how much it cost so long as it can also fit a eatx board as well. That evolv x2 is wicked

The NV case series are probably the best cases out there.
I really like those fans!
I would LOVE To see a Refreshed or similarly designed case to the P600S
Man, it feels like only a few months back when Computex 2023 happened!
About Evolv X2, where they manage to put the power supply? Also, glass panels are all around it except the back?
That's a beautiful case!
White and silver, 420mm and 140mm everywhere ...
A mATX version of that Evolv X2 would be sweet.
That Evolv X2 is a 'Boner' case.
Oh my, that is so gourgeous and well thought over. The looks are unique, different and beautiful.
Finaly!
I deal with fittings like that everyday in my job, it's a wonder no pc tech company hasn't integrated them into their design until now it seems. The sleeves look big enough to remove the tubes easily, which is such a pain in my job
My server box case (Lian Li D8000) goes under the desk. Performance and stability over anything else.
Nice case, love you guys ❤❤❤
when i bought my evolv x, i thought i wouldnt have to buy another case. but ofc i need the x2, holy shit.
the corners at the front where the glass panels meets needs to be more seemless
It needs to be curved then it's perfect
Phanteks kit is very cool
As a skater, I demand you get the 480s!
As a skater I already have them lol
@@GearSeekers kinda knew you did. I pick up on the threads and sometimes kicks in your videos.
Loved watching it!
Its official I found my PC case for my office. Phanteks Evolv X2
Nice case, are you also taking a look at SFF Cases?
LETS FUCKIN GOOOOO!!!!!!! 140mm t30, fuckin A aquarium, fittings... hell yeah phanteks
If they release a version with the black borders instead of white i'll buy it
I would like it to be possible to put glass on both sides (front and back) of the evolv X2 so that the fans are only top and bottom and to be possible for the cables to go from the back. since my case is hung on the wall, it's not symmetrical like this.
I really like the Phanteks Evolv X2 but I'm really concerned about the intake airflow
phanteks proving again they're one of the best in the pc world 🙏 awesome stuff
Would love to see a smaller version of the Evolv X2; maybe a MATX
one thing I'd love to see if an optional Mesh/Glass side panel for Vert mounted gpu's
Only 3 intake? Would love to add some bigger fans.
Looks nice
Looking slim! Kudos! Losing weight is NOT easy.
Looks neat, though my next pc will be inside my desk instead of a big case on my desk or on the ground
Is it possible to do Watercooling in the X2? I wonder...
Also I think that $150 for that case is INSANE, such an incredible bargain.
Curved glass is expensive so we don't need that. I would like to see an option maybe for a mesh back panel and bracket to allow side mounting fans/aios. Not necessary but would be cool.
tube without fitting is what ppl use for IO water fitting
Bravoo Phanteks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dillon doing the difficult work of keeping Nick in the frame...
great vid, great teams
I see the evolve 2 glass went around the back of the mobo. I wonder if it extends all the way around the back to show off cable management for us cable freaks!
