Thanks Raj. I was able to fix my leaky bathtub faucet because of this video. I just replaced the washers. I would've quit if it wasn't for your great tips. WD-40 took a few applications before it started moving. Putting the handle back on to pull out the cartridge was genius.

I watched many videos. Yours was the best. Your instructions and a few tips helped replace my Delta bathtub faucet with a new cartridge. It only cost me $ 42.80, for part, and I saved the labor. Thanks for making me feel great for a job well done. Blessings!
Raj, your tip for putting the handle back on to help pull the cartridge out was a life saver! Other videos made it look like it comes out easily, which was not the case with mine.
This worked very well... thank you. I contacted the manufacturer as you explained in your other video and they sent the cartridge for free. The fix was simple while following your video.

@@learnfromraj Raj, just to update you and others. Over 4-5 days, I sprayed the area with vinegar, and each day the handle loosened. Today I was able to remove it. Very quick, precise, and detailed explaination on all components involved for the fix. Enjoyed the tips and the end VALIDATION showing the drip is no more.
Hey Raj, you help me, i watched your video for 5 times.. I fixed it by my self and this in my first job doing the faucet.. thank you so much you save my money
I watched about 10 of these and would rate 9 of them a 5. Raj on the other hand is a 10! He gives you two tips. One you can get a free cartridge from Delta. It was easy once I got the email right. Shipped free too. Two, there is a white plastic hub that is the temperature setting device. Watch Part #3 of this series to see exactly how to set. Trust me, pull out on hub and turn counter clockwise toward HOT as far as it will go. Now you and the handle have complete control of water temperature. If you don’t do this you will find yourself taking off handle and putting it back multiple times.
Thanks Raj, this mostly worked for me. Instructuons very clear and simple. I still had to make a straight edge incision and hammer the ring out with a flat head after the ring didnt budge overnight. Great vid!! Liked.
Hi Raj! This was very detailed and helpful. Many videos fail to give such details as to the potential of trouble or resistance you might get with certain steps of a repair which leaves us as viewers in need of the information stick when we put it into practice but it doesn’t happen as easily as when in the video. So again I appreciate your attention to detail and desire to provide us with the best information to be successful in our repair! Willie
now i know why the hot and cold water are switched on mine! our leaky faucet has been a problem for forever and we supposedly got it fixed but it’s letting so much water out again
Hi Raj, it looked like you were turning the the lock collar to the right not left before you sprayed the WD40. My issue is the handle will not pull off with the grub/pinch screw completely removed. Won't pull off. Careful too when you push on the red spray tube onto the WD40, never point it at your eyes. Thanks for your video. People buying just the rubber seals need to bring them to the store to make sure they buy the right size. Cheers.
Very useful! I took mine apart with your help, looked over all the gaskets (I'm a contractor but NOT a plumber) and all the gaskets looked good. Its pretty new too (less than two years old). But there was a lot of mineral build up that may have formed near/around where gasket actually inserts and created a small opening so I cleaned everything out/up and I think that did it.
Thank you for uploading video and for informing me about the delta warranty. I recently changed my cartridge as well. Getting the cartridge out was not easy at all, and I couldn’t use your handle trick because it turns out the nail was really rusty. (I haven’t unscrewed the handle in 10 years). Had to use the wd-40 about 5 times. But eventually I got the cartridge out. Thanks again for all the tips and help
Thanks Raj. I just finished replacing the caskets and springs. I was having difficulties pushing the cartridge in place. I did, however, found that using the ring the cartridge can be seated. No dripping now!

You don’t have to do that adjustment. It comes with the right setting but in case if you like to control the hot water level, you can do that by adjusting it like I showed at 4:55.
