My goodness 😊😋😋, came out just like yours. I just didn't have the pickled onions was it? I did make them a little larger than yours so I had a little falling apart issue with a couple lol. I made this tonight and it was WONDERFUL! I had to make a few changes due to availability. I used portobello mushrooms and 1 can of mushrooms. I may have done something wrong, my ingredients were very wet so I added more chickpea flour than you suggested. After I made the patties, I placed them on top of parchment paper which was covering a pan. Then I set them in the fridge for 15 - 30 minutes. I think this helped them stick together. I used some bacon grease to Sautee the vegetables. Just a little bit. After I flipped the burgers the second time, I placed a pineapple ring and slice of cheese on top, turned off the burner, put the lid on, and the cheese melted pretty quickly. It cut out the extra step of heating the oven. This was a real treat. Thank you!

Brandon, I sure hope your channel blow up... beyond Tabitha Brown. I am rooting for you! I had some fresh mushrooms in my frig that I was thinking to throw away because they had been in there for about 5 days and no one was really using them. Then, watching YT, your video popped up and after watching you cook, I got up, got all of those mushrooms, added some onion and fresh spinach I already had, sautéed those babies up and added some seasoning and waa-laahhh - delicious! Like you, I'm black....so I really seasoned them up - lol! :) Every start of the year (January), we eat Vegan for the month, but, overall, we are not vegan.

I am! I never thought I'd be here watching a vegan video until after being hospitalized a few days ago from eating frozen ground beef. Got so sick, had diarrhea, couldn't get out of bed, and brain fog.
I make a spicy mayo, guac and crunchy garlic chili sauce that would tastes very good on this burger. Looks very good. I hope that I can find some oyster mushrooms. 😉🙂

Great Burger recipe, and I can't wait to try it since I am making up the grocery list. Question: Wouldn't it be more productive to heat the garbanzo beans to 165°F and then mash them after rinsing? I usually buy dry sprouted garbanzo beans and soak/cook them myself, but I do buy canned sometimes and find they do have a better mash consistency after being heated, which holds up for a great tuna fish w/ nori komi.
