Kylie, I have a little suggestion: would you please consider doing a video with traditional Italian baking treats that one can make at home and offer them to friends and loved ones as Christmas gifts? We don't need to buy more "stuff" which will eventually end in in the landfills, what we need is more connection with each other- these days more than ever, especially since some of us are in lockdown again in some parts of the world. From my own experience, as I'm sure others will agree with me, making and sharing food is an intimate activity that brings people together and makes them feel more connected. Making holiday foods with or for those I love is high on my gift list this year. A video with Italian traditional treats for holidays would be like the best gift for anyone to make and share. BTW, having lived and worked in the Middle East in the past, I acquired a taste for various versions of hummus. Yours is classic and classically good. If you want to experiment a little, try adding a pinch of curry powder, chilli powder, nutmeg or cinnamon and using lime juice instead of lemon for slightly different tastes. Just like an Italian Nonna have their own family ragu recipe, so too do Arab and Israeli grannies have their own personal version of hummus.
