Originally delivered to Ontario, Canada, this E39 M5 is a "BMW Individual" special order, featuring black Nappa leather on the dash, center console, and door panels, along with blue seat center sections.
Immediately after delivery, this car was upgraded with the Dinan S2 package by Engineered Automotive. Over the next five years, 18,000 miles were added before the original owner further upgraded it with the Dinan S3 Package in 2007. This upgrade significantly boosted performance, with horsepower increasing by over 200 and torque by over 130 from the stock figures.
The original owner maintained this M5 meticulously for another 10 years, with only 20,400 miles on the clock at the time of sale. The second owner drove it for an additional 300 miles over six months and repaired the stone chips on the front end to match the pristine LeMans Blue paint.
In late 2017, a local BMW collector acquired this M5 as a valuable addition to his collection of Bavarian legends. Since then, the current owner has kept the Dinan S3 in peak condition by regularly driving it on weekends and staying on top of maintenance. I have a stock E46, but I'm thinking about selling it and buying an M3 E46 instead rather than start touching the non-M3. This E39 is like my dream car, I want to modify my future M3 like this.
