Does both earcups vibrate equally or has the same bass? I had that problem with my crusher 360 and ended up returning them. Btw Skullcandy said they were about to release an OTA update to eliminate the hiss.
I just purchased these yesterday at Best Buy. I exchanged the Bose around the ear 2's. I couldn't be happier that I did. I listen to mainly rock. Tool, APC, Puscifer, deftones FFDP etc. I only say this because so many people think you have to be into Rap to get the most out of them. That is very much NOT true. Go to the Skull Candy App and set em up and you'll be thanking the sound gods lol. Ive owned Audiophile headphones and they mostly focus on flat "across the board" tones. I want my music loud and to feel it damn it!! These do just that.
I had problems with the crusher wireless where if you turned up the bass a little bit, it works for half a minute and then the bass fades away. And that's a common problem amongst them! But you say you're on a budget so the crusher 360 wont be it i think? I would reccomend the sony xb900n. The have a beautyful sound signature. Also you can control the bass is the app which goes pretty loud and it still sounds super clear. And the touch and noice canceling features are really good. If you get the chance to test them, try them! I have them around a month and they still suprise me.
I have a pair of the original crushers I love them but now I’m looking into getting ANC pair of headphones for travel in air and car what pair do you think would be better stick with the crushers or get the venue or even both?

And it is real bass feedback. If you have a 12 inch or 15 inch subwoofer, you'll realise how accurate the bass response is. Me having a 12 inch subwoofer in my room, the headphones just brings the bass to a personal space where I can enjoy it alone and not wake the neighbors lol
That’s sick. A 12 would demolish my small room lmao. I’ve wanted a good sound system in my room for quite some time now. These will have to satisfy my until then.
@@draxian8514 well worth it man. I have a Polk Audio 12 inch subwoofer and it's just like having 2 of those on my head. Can't wait to get the ANCs, the 360s are still goin strong.

I love skullcandy.. I'm a bass heavy guy and listen to alot of rap/hiphop so these are up my alley. But I ain't paying 3 hunnid.. I'll see what black friday lookin like first.
So these are the successor to the skullcandy 360? I heard the 360 from a colleague and I liked it but idk which one of the headphones in the skullcandy lineup is closest to the 360
All of the crusher systems have needed power to work. Crusher wireless just has an auto-on feature when it senses an audio signal on the aux input line (no LED's light up, so I can see why you thought that). If your battery is actually dead on crusher wireless, crusher won't work even when line-in. Also, even if crusher wireless worked like you thought, that's a really terrible reason to pass on a great product. You charge your phone every night... you can't remember to charge your headphone once every few days? It has quick charge also if you do forget! The 360's and Crusher ANC provide experiences that aren't even in the same league as crusher wireless.
Hi, I wanted to thank you for the review of these headphones, which I am now interested in buying. I'm Italian, I understand almost all the vedo but I have a couple of questions: -Does ANC technology turn off automatically when the headphones are turned off? (in different headphones, cheap though, the ANC turns on and off with its own button, with the headphones turned off or on). -Does the ANC cause headaches or nausea in the long listening period? And does it affect audio quality? (I don't care if the ANC isolates a little, so long as it doesn't bother? -I'm not a special or exclusive edition, right? On Amazon.com and Amazon.it I can't find them. Thank you again for the video and in advance for the answers PS: I have the first generation Skullcandy Crusher, they are more than two years old, so I wanted to change them with the ANC Crusher, bass enhancement + ANC, the headphones of life.
Most bluetooth speakers I have suffer from an audio delay that is noticeable when watching videos. I want to pick these up for gaming but i'm worried that they would also have an audio delay, making them useless for this purpose. Is delay an issue with these?
So you are "audioproductguy". Immediately went to amazon to order after watching your review, and noticed your written review on amazon as well. Thanks for the review....cant wait to get my hands on them.
I'm personally a bit biased towards Edifier since I love the sound signature of their headphones and earphones. If I have the money I would buy their ANC headphone.
I'm defiantly a bass headphone guy.. Every time I went to a dance or concert I always LOVED feeling the bass rattle my chest but do these headphones deliver? I want to feel my games I want to feel the movies I want to FEEL the explosions.. do they do that?
Great review. I have the Crusher Wireless and the 360's. I would imagine the Wired Crusher would receive a grade of "D", the Wireless Crusher a "C", the 360's would receive a "B" and now the Crusher ANC would receive a grade of "A". Would that be 'bout right?
Momentum 3, Master and Dynamic mw65, Sony mx3s, Skull Candy ANC. For sound quality what i should buy? I heard Sony in Ldac or aptxhd sound better than momentum 3s. Sucks that Sennheiser didnt include those codecs 😫
it seems like this are going to be my new favorite headphones I do prefer lighter headphones I loved the SONY WH-1000XM3 the low bass response melt me, I´m just curious why they change the design of the buttons when everyone loved the crusher designs.
Only problem I have with my wireless one and the skullcandy is the size , what they made this headphone so damn small ? We need a full size version , not only on ear
People who say it's not bass that is produced don't have a pair or have never heard one. I can say for a fact that along with the haptic effect IT ALSO increases the bass. Weather intentional or unintentional I have no idea, but there have been songs that I have listened to (in my collection) that have had definate bass increase without much of the haptic effect being produced at the time. This isn't a definate across the board kind of thing but just in my measly library I've noticed it more than enough times that I could hear clear bass boost without much of the haptic effect. Not only that but I can absolutely hear bass with games and movies especially. In particular I play Doom (classic, modded) and every gun including the shotgun sounds like a cannon. My point is that this isn't JUST a vibration effect that the headphones produce, it DOES actually increase the bass in most instances. The only thing I don't like from my Crusher Wireless (that I use almost exclusively as a wired set, also I'm talking about the $180 pair) is that it seems that if there isn't enough of the low frequencies that activate the haptic feature then you can audiably hear the bass "turn off". Example: I'm playing Borderlands 2 and in battle the bass is noticable, but then I'm just walking around collecting loot/ammo with only a few sounds effects and the game music playing. As there's no real punchy bass in the music and it's mostly in the background (softer volume than everything else) whatever haptic effect/bass you hear through the headphones turns off, that's right, you can clearly hear the extra bass from the low volume music die down. Only when I shoot a round of the rocket launcher or shotgun that it turns back on again. This happens all the time and I assume it's a feature to save energy so the effect isn't actively on all the time even when there's no audio present, but there is audio present just not very loud. One more thing I should mention that I found out and actually told the customer service department at Skullcandy... The very first pair I purchased worked great, again, always using it as a wired pair, and about the third month the haptic bass feature stopped working. I called Skullcandy customer service and asked if it could be the battery that needed to be charged as I never did that. They told me it should BE charged as the 3.5mm jack that comes WITH the Crusher Wireless Is specially designed so the headphones gets powered and charged AS you're using them wired (2 different people at Customer Service actually told me this and were very specific about this fact). They were very nice, told me to return the pair via mail (JUST the headphones), sent me a brand new pair in the box in the mail. So, again, after about 2-3 months the bass dies out. Same symptoms. Before calling Skullcandy again I decided to actually charge it using the USB charging cable. A short while later it's functioning like normal. So, TL:DR they say the 3.5mm jack that comes with the Crusher's also charge the pair as you're using it as a wired pair but at least in my experience I have to charge them via USB cable. Other than that I love these things and will ALWAYS game with them from now on.
@@almoghasson5045 it has a built in amp you use to increase the volume. I have the 360s myself and because I use 3 music players, the audio quality is full and not low.
I have chronic pain and basically have my headphones on from when I sit up to when I go to bed when possible, listening to nature sounds or music; it just somehow distracts part of my brain. I damaged my QC35Iis when replacing the ear cuffs and get a cracklings noise a lot; it makes me nervous. So I need to switch and am checking out the market. I so appreciate videos like these. Being in the US and ill, I don’t have much expendable cash and these pricey headphones are a big investment despite the cost per use, so I have to weigh this seriously or I may end up with a pair I can’t really wear, and there goes my budget for four years. Even now I can’t wear the over ear headphones when I have headaches; I’m too sensitive to pain. My brain interprets discomfort as pain, so comfort and weight are big factors for me, for all I want it to be just about the music. I guess, keep on keeping on. You never know who’s watching and what these decisions may mean to the people checking this out.
Galaxial Pharmaceutical Thanks for the thought. Through the years, I’ve tried a lot of stuff. While some oils can help pain or distract from it (cinnamon and wintergreen especially are no joke!) or help some strains and sprains improve more quickly, and bruises heal more quickly, it’s just... not equipped to treat the cause rather than the symptoms. I’ve got a wider care team than most and keep an open mind about different things that may be helpful. It just seems that... either I have a particularly tricky case or we’re just not able to restore these systems that aren’t working properly to their former function. At least until we do, I have my little forms of distraction to bide my time.
@@ramdom-yy4wy I'm probably the wrong person to ask lol.. Im the kind of person to keep it all the way up with an app to further enhance the bass and volume.. Come back in a year and I'll let you know if im deaf yet
If I ever do buy a second headset, I would go with Skullcandy for sure. I especially would go for Hesh 3 because of the very fast rapid charge, 22 hours of battery which isn't the best but I don't mind at all bcs anything over 10 is enough for me anyways🔋. I also love the button placement. Everything is done on the right ear cup, the pause, play, volume and track seeking is all done on the right ear cup, the charging happens on the bottom right ear cup, and the optional aux cable is right beside the charging slot, on the right bottom ear cup which I love the most. Having the aux output on the left ear cup is inconvenient for me because I'm a right pocket phone guy. The hesh 3 is an absolute beast and I do acknowledge the bass isn't really booming on these headphones, but that doesn't bother me much, all I need is good sound quality, nice fit, and long battery. The over ear design is a huge plus as well. ♥️

Thank u so much for this review!!! So helpful! Buying them ASAP👌👌
Are they good for gaming?
I'm on a budget but I really like the venues and they have ambient noise also
The venues don’t sound that great. Go for the crushers or crushers anc instead
@@bryanpeeters2552 but the major thing I like about the venues are the anc they are decent but no poor or Sony level

I have a pair of the original crushers I love them but now I’m looking into getting ANC pair of headphones for travel in air and car what pair do you think would be better stick with the crushers or get the venue or even both?
Just how good is the sound? Compared to the competitors in the same price range? Could it be good for gaming?
My stimulus check came in yesterday, so now I'm on my way to Best Buy to pick-up the last Black & Tan pair of ANC Crushers. 💣 💥 🔥 I'm sooooooooooo excited!!! 😁

@@temoarias409 still amazing. I use them everyday. With music from my phone, I plug them into my ps4 controller for games and movies. I love them.
@@lilchadaldrich I'm thinking of getting them but a lot of people are saying that the bass slide stopped working for them

@gamesky If I have the 360s and the Sony wh1000xm3s, are these worth picking up as well?

Please can you tell me how you’re 360s are I want to buy them but I’m not sure because I spent 350 dollars on beats studio 3 and they had average sound quality regretting my decision

The bass is better, louder and deeper than the Beats. But the Beats win in the style catagory.

So these are the successor to the skullcandy 360? I heard the 360 from a colleague and I liked it but idk which one of the headphones in the skullcandy lineup is closest to the 360
Does the bass slider work without power like the Crusher Wireless? That's one of the reasons I passed on the Crusher360s...
Good Avengers analogy. Mine come in tomorrow. I'm so pumped.
Hi, I wanted to thank you for the review of these headphones, which I am now interested in buying.
I'm Italian, I understand almost all the vedo but I have a couple of questions:
-Does ANC technology turn off automatically when the headphones are turned off? (in different headphones, cheap though, the ANC turns on and off with its own button, with the headphones turned off or on).
-Does the ANC cause headaches or nausea in the long listening period? And does it affect audio quality? (I don't care if the ANC isolates a little, so long as it doesn't bother?
-I'm not a special or exclusive edition, right? On Amazon.com and Amazon.it I can't find them.
Thank you again for the video and in advance for the answers
PS: I have the first generation Skullcandy Crusher, they are more than two years old, so I wanted to change them with the ANC Crusher, bass enhancement + ANC, the headphones of life.
Nope, that's not me on Amazon. I never really leave reviews over there

I'm personally a bit biased towards Edifier since I love the sound signature of their headphones and earphones. If I have the money I would buy their ANC headphone.
I have these in Black/Tan and I absolutely love them!
Are these worth it? Asking because I actually wanna buy em
I'm defiantly a bass headphone guy.. Every time I went to a dance or concert I always LOVED feeling the bass rattle my chest but do these headphones deliver? I want to feel my games I want to feel the movies I want to FEEL the explosions.. do they do that?
These headphones are a definite grab 😍
Great review. I have the Crusher Wireless and the 360's. I would imagine the Wired Crusher would receive a grade of "D", the Wireless Crusher a "C", the 360's would receive a "B" and now the Crusher ANC would receive a grade of "A". Would that be 'bout right?
You would be correct, an improvement each time and they seemed to finally found a great balance with that insane bass

Sadly the hinge on my skull candy crushers has broken so here I am. But tbh honest I'm just going to 3d print the hinge.
This or sony wh- 1000xm4 which one should i go for I'm really confused between these two.
Love my 360's. Might have to give these a try.
Since these won't be cheap can you pit them against the qc35 2 and the WH-1000xm3?
Momentum 3, Master and Dynamic mw65, Sony mx3s, Skull Candy ANC. For sound quality what i should buy? I heard Sony in Ldac or aptxhd sound better than momentum 3s. Sucks that Sennheiser didnt include those codecs 😫
The Xm3 sound pretty decent. They really take to eq well.
Alex Smith I’d suggest the Momentum 3.0s, every review mentions that they win on sound quality, though the ANC is stronger on the Bose and the Sony.

I hear some kind of a parallel in your review of the aladdinaudio acura pro: chrushers bass with sennheisers midds and highs.
Nice review. Thanks

Would you say that the original crusher from 2k17 is still worth it? Im considering them since its 100$, but these are 300$, slightly above my budget
