My hesh 3 broke at the hinge in less than a year. The warranty replacement broke at the same place in similar manner within 2 month. I really like the headphone and I hope they improve the hinge, maybe change it to aluminum in the future.
I gotta say that one of the feature I miss the most from the hesh 3 is if you used it wired, every single control would still work and it would use the mic on the headphone itself (no need cable with inline mic.), which I think not a lot of other Bluetooth headphones does. For example, Surface headphones wired connection can only control volume and anc levels if you turn it on (no controls at all if turned off and wired connection), and if you use a cable with no mic, you won't be able to take a call.
Yeah same here. Right now I got a bunch of hot glue on the right hinge. Girlfriend actually accidentally sat on them when I placed them on the passenger seat and forgot my new car didn’t light up inside like my old one. I was used to people just seeing what was in the passenger seat so rip.

(Do I save longer for Boise, or was there anything else I could get.) Then I found Skullcandy, and I wasn’t sure which to go for. I wasn’t crazy in need of bass, I wanted the best noise canceling but also good headphones (or I would have just gone for safety gear) Thank you for ranking the noise canceling in particular. Very helpful.
Yeah. I liked the yeah 2 but the sound was kind of unclear and overall muddy. They were decent but don't come close to my skullcandy crusher wireless. So much clearer and a lot more bass. Bass is relatively clear as long as you don't turn the bass slider on. I hopefully will get the brand new skullcandy hesh since they support aptx hd
I’ve had these for 2 months, I don’t use them for phone calls because of where the mic is placed it’s hard for the other person to get me. One other complaint is it is too quiet, the ANC is spectacular but the sound output suffers IMO. Not a dealbreaker for everyone but they don’t blow my ears out when I’m listening to heavy metal like I was hoping. Still good for the money I guess
I wouldn’t say they are structurally sound tbh, like bumping into people on the subway, sure. They will hold up to that no problem, but bail on your skateboard or accidentally sit on them they’re toast
I legit can’t imagine how annoying these questions are on a frequent basis but off initial wears do you believe they are an upgrade from the venue? Those are my go to skullcandy ANC headphones
I'm just speculating here...but with the Hesh and Crusher lines getting their own EVO upgrades, and the Crusher ANC being sold at $199 often...does this mean a Crusher ANC 2 will be coming along? Maybe a Crusher ANC EVO? Hopefully it would have similar build quality as the 360...if it ever happens.
Q30 has high res. Hesh anc has what call deep bass. If you tune both eq then q30 sound gonna more clearer then just bass. But if you like skullcandy is good

Sir, the Skullcandy app dooesn't allow to EQ headphones. It only shapes the sound to your hearing. I have the Crusher Evo and it connects to the app but there is no EQ mode in this app.

Q30 is larger stage high res. Yes I have it it's larger deep clear high low mids. If you tune the eq right your get alot better sounding. Hesh will sound better hesh 3 but nothing special small sound stage

Hesh anc focus into more deep bass while the q30 focus on clear high res thumping bass. If you tune eq right your will like q30 better, the hesh anc may change doesn't have high res.

I subbed over a yr. ago now. I have the Sony XM4’s but at almost $400 I WASN’T that impressed. Currently my headphones of choice are my Sony Hear on 3’s. But I’m always looking for something new and improved. Any feedback you can provide is greatly appreciated. By the way on my Evo’s I never could get the audido app to connect. Not sure if the exact name but I’m referring to the sound test app. I purchased my Evo’s the first day they went live on Skullcandy’s website.
About 5 month ago on my birthday i got these after and hour of looking. Amazing headphones my LG Velvet has a built in equalizer. And it also has built in settings like treble bass booster ect i have it set on bass booster but it is absolutely amazing i love it i use it during school. I have music playing 8 hours a day 5 days a week. I listen to music during classes and everything and in the loud hallways i turn my music all the way up it i cant hear a thing. I also use it while making music its a very good studio headphone

Mine broke within 3 uses. I had to wait for my friends to break and then I used parts from both to make a working pair. Lol
