I have no idea how I can go back to any other set after these. I listen to songs in my car for an hour sometimes, because I love the way my sub kicks. This is that but directly in your ears. I don't see how another set can compare to these. Great video as always. My ears love you, my wallet and future kid's college fund hate you. Lol! Salute bro! @GuyWithLegs There's a couple but they're personally not dealbreakers for me. First one was that the top of my head, where the headband was, was pretty achy for a while with these but that's the same as with the original crusher wireless, after a while that issue went away. To use the bass slider you need to have the headphones turned on, even when using them wired, and when they're turned on there's a slight hiss. The hiss isn't noticeable when you're listening to something though, only when you're not. Aside from them 3 issues, I love them, the bass is a lot more controlled than the original crusher wireless which were my last pair, it's really fun to use.
I have the original Crushers and I always kept the Bass slider all the way up, I decided that it was time for an upgrade, so I got the EVOs (since I don't care for ANC) And I completely agree. On the new ones with the slider all the way up, I feel like my brain is coming out of my nose. (But is fun once in a while)
Extremely great sound but as you say full sensory bass goes right through my head just a wee bits more than enough I also have Sony xm4 & JBL live 660 all have great sound can't use crusher for 2 long as bass give me a headache lol

I agree with you on the small amount of sensory bass. Even a finger nails worth of push is perfectly enough for most listening, infact it sounds great when there is a small amount of sensory bass

I’ve owned a few different premium headphones, the Sony XM3 were my favorites. But I walked into Best Buy and tried out a few different brands. Then I tried Skullcandy Evo, I smiled while listening and enjoyed the haptic feedback immensely! I do game when the kids go to bed and Skullcandy Evos kill it and immerse u in the game in a way that I didn’t know was possible!... I’ll keep my Sony’s but I’ll game and use the Evo at the gym and while gaming for sure!
I'm impressed with skullcandy market strategy (good sound acceptable quality for the money) not just the name like other brands to be honest I have a old plastic wired headset skullcandy from 4-5 years ago and still I'm impressed 👏 👌
I completely agree with you about how when you first get your crushers with that bass you tried on in best buy, you really get hyped and pumped but after about a week or so of jamming out with that bass all the way up its kinda overwhelming in the music and in the way so making the balance of the highs and mods is important
Im waiting for my evos to get delivered. I cannot wait to experience that bass feeling. I listen to all genres apart from pop but i can imagine listen to drumb and bass or dubstep will be amazing. Also i wish the evos came with grey ear cups, they look way more balanced like that and it just helps to seperate the parts abit

I just threw the old skool rap group WHODINI(one my favorites)on, with the jam “FREINDS”....holy mother of god...put that bass slider to 100% and prepare for your head to explode on the 1st note.. try “5 minutes of funk also”. I’ve had my evos for a week and all other headphones don’t even compare anymore. BUY THESE PEOPLE.
I bought both. They have their differences. You’re obviously buying these CRUSHERS for the BASS. The ANC’s have wayyy more bass than the EVO’s... I’m actually disappointed that so many people have been claiming the EVO’S have more bass. No they don’t. The Bass slider on the ANC’s literally start from no bass to gradually shaking your ears. If you have a massage gun like me. From time to time I put my gun on my ear and it tickles (feels good). That’s what the ANC’s do. The EVO’s don’t even get close to that. You barely turn it up 10% and it’s already MAX’ed out: the bass doesn’t get heavier / louder. No ear tickling. From 10% to 100% it stays the same. That highly disappointed me. I took the ANC’s back thinking the EVO’s were better....... I liked the option dialing up or dialing down the bass on whatever it was I was doing. The ANC’s gradually give you more BASS. 10% 25% 50% 75% and then all out 200%. The EVO’s don’t give you that option. It’s either no bass or all bass. No in between. I was told the audio (clarity) was louder on EVO than ANC. No.... it’s the same. There is a silent hiss on the ANC’s. Would have never noticed it until reading reviews..... in the end. The EVO’s feel more safe. They max you out on the BASS. The ANC’s don’t give a damn about your ear canal. Lol. If I had to pick... again..... I want bass control: and the ANC’s give you that: the EVO’s don’t.
I was already sold witht he first video on the Evo... I laughed as I listen to this new video. Once you said ounces your done playing you'll leave it at a nail in... so true, unless you need it. You won't enjoy everything else outside of bass. Thanks for the new video happy for now
Excellent comparison! I'm sure it will help many. I'm still without a Crusher-experience but I will try to demo one of these at some point. They might not be the headphones that I would personally purchase but I believe they make many people happy.
I thought the Evos were great on bluetooth,but then I tried them with my desktop headphone amp and that took everything to a whole new level lmao. That was enough bass to cause an earthquake,or at least it felt like that against my head LOL
i got the anc not a bad set as far as a Bluetooth headset better than audiophile head sets HELL NO better than generic cheap headphone HELL YA i would put it as a good mid rage headset
My only problem (one that makes the headphones unusable) is that even with the Noise Cancellation off the headphones have a terrible buzzing sound and apparently it’s not a faulty pair, this is how they sound, if you look it up online other people also notice that there is an incredible hissing sound whenever these headphones are on, even when the noise cancelation is not.

Great review! Made me feel much better that I purchased the EVO's instead of the ANC's. I actually bought two sets to watch movies in the back of my car on the dual monitors.
I dropped my Skullcandy EVOs one time on concrete and the metal subwoofer inside messed up, now you hear nothing but rattling, I opened them up and the subwoofer looks fine but makes noise, so I ordered the ANCs because they are cheaper on amazon. I love that bass so I had to see if I made the right decision.

@@thegrimreaper270 I have no clue, maybe because they the only Crusher series thst has noise cancelling but i can tell you in terms of sound quality and bass, the evos are far better and accurate, i was actually disappointed i wasted my money on Crusher ANC’s, i paid $160 for the ANCs brand new. TRUST ME, go with Evos, i ended up selling the ANCs and saving up some money to buy some more Evos. I dont know how durable the ANCs are because i never dropped them but my new pair of Evos i dropped a few times and still works fine also that youtuber i bet was the SAME one i watched, ended up buying them. You better experience both first before buying because whoever said ANCs have more bass is a damn lie, let me tell you how they make it seem like ANCs have more bass, its because the mids and highs on the ANCs is horrible and low which makes the bass seem more pronounced when it isnt. The Evos have better and more loud mids and highs that are crystal clear and has bass tuned better to lower frequency than the ANCs.

That wouldn’t even make sense, why would they make newer headphones that sounds worse than the previous models?
I bought my first ever Skullcandy which is on ear Skullcandy riff wired for $19.99 for my cd player and boy, I was blown away by it's punchy kicks and drums! I mostly listen to metal/hard rock songs and that skullcandy sounds better than my Sony, Philips, Panasonic HPs... Oh and BT can't handle 24bit 41-44khz lossless so wired mode is to go... And 16:55 GREAT ANALOGY!

Hey man I’m halfway threw ur vid and I’m impressed with the knowledge and passion u share with ur viewers thanks for that!! Just an idea for the prefer rated ear cups if u get a nice sized nail and grab it with pliers and heat it up with a torch lighter and carefully place holes in a pattern and be sure not to melt the material to messy and then really clean with a piece of sandpaper and exacto knife each hole so they don’t scratch your ears I think u could achieve what your looking far as to the ventilation issues. I may even do the same lol. Thanks again man keep them coming 👍
Man, I listen to rap and metal music. They really good with metal so you can fill the double kick drum and new metal. These are some crazy headphones. I have the Evo thanks for your videos you have a great channel.the bass slider works with the 3.5mm cable on mine
I’m currently using Hesh Evo and sometimes I experience latency in the audio that is almost it has been distributed or lagged through. I thought probs the headphones can’t handle loud noise and maybe I should have bought crushers Evo, I really don’t know what to do at this point.
other than the bass, is the audio good? because I listen to both songs with lots of bass and just like you said, songs without. But those times, is the audio itself clear and good?

Even though the sound isnrt as crisp, they are much louder and the battery life is amazing. Also the fact that the bass meter is the greatest thing ever. Your video is the best comparison for anything I've ever seen because you got so detailed about the products it helps a lot!
I have the skullcandy crusher wireless, does the evo have much more punchy bass ? I'm thinking on upgrading but I dont want to buy it and the bass isn't as strong as the original
Trust me, you need to upgrade, the Evo's are on a whole new level! The bass is much more prominent, punchy and controlled, but will shake your head like never before, they are also louder in overall volume. I have the Crusher Wireless and was on the fence about upgrading, so so glad i did! The Crusher Wireless are now a museum piece! Go for it man! I'm one hundred percent confident you won't be disappointed! Watch Flossy Carter's review on them if you want some more reassurance
I have 2 important questions 1. Can I still use the bass with the 3.5mm cable ? I love to plug the crushers in a dac/amp 2.they have hiss in the background like anc models ?
Let me make the buying decision for you with this example, I have the ANCs and the OG Crusher wireless, I use the OGs for the gym because they are cheap and they have better clamping force, I use the ANCs when gaming, I also use the ambient when Im with my kid and wife playing games so I can hear when they talk to me, the swivel make the ANCs and EVOs too loose for fitness, I think the EVOS are too incomplete, not good for fitness and it doesn't have ANC or my favorite feature that natural abient mode, but for you needs, the price is not bad for a great soundings set of headphones, so IT ALL DEPEND ON YOUR NEEDS.
I used to have a system that blew the hatch open on my old car, literally broke the latch, and would set off car alarms at full volume. I love bass. I got the Evos and they are the best bass heavy headphones ive ever used. With the bass all the way up and the right music i can kick back and almost feel like im rocking my old system. Best $200 purchase ive ever made!
Also I've probably used them 50+ hours and still haven't charged them since day 1, still have 40% battery life right now. So they last forever which is awesome

This channel is where I come to for headphone reviews. Looking to replace my OG Crusher Wireless. Loved those headphones, but they broke. I've had then since 2019, so I can't be too mad about it I guess. Just know, after a few years, the OG Crusher Wireless plastic degrade and brake.
For some reason my bass slider has some play in it is that a design flaw or just in the ones I bought? Also it seems when the bass kicks in just barley up when it’s there it’s the same as all the way up?

I sent my crusher 360s in for warranty.(earpads came unglued). Since they were out a stock i got a 300 dollar credit. The crusher ancs were on sale for 199 so i purchased both the crusher anc and the evo's. Honestly im disapointed. Neither one macthes the bass of the 360s. I feel like the anc's bass distorts like crazy. The evo's bass a wider bass response with no peaks while the 360 's peak in the sub bass. I sold the anc's and I'll be getting a used set of 360's for shure. If bass is what your most interested, keep the 360s.
Same here, I don't understand how he can say the ANCs are better than the 360s. The bass on the ANCs just sounds too forced, the 360s sound way better, much more natural. I was wondering about the EVOs but your comment answered my questions, cheers.

I originally thinking about getting Filips Fidelio X2HR and than I found out about Crusher EVO. They are same price now on Amazon. Which one should I get? Currently I have Fidelio X3 and I thought bass is little weak so I was gonna get X2HR for little extra bass.

Any clue why I can’t get rid of the hissing/static sound? Disconnected and restarted completely it still sounds the static.. this only started happening after I had a phone call on them. Is there some way to turn off the static?
So your saying the base slider dosnt work when not using the battery because my normal crusher wireless lets you use the slider when its pluged into my phone or ps4 controller and it works all the time

While watching this video I was just about to pull the trigger & order the Evo's. Really want the ANCs but was not feeling the extra price tag especially if these are being considered by most reviewers as close without one feature. Then I went to the Best Buy app and they have the ANCs for $199.....So yeah I will be picking up my ANCs on tomorrow!!!
@@taricohenry2227 I'm coming from the OG Crusher wireless so they sound amazing and the bass is crazy!!! The ANC does have a hiss when nothing is playing which does not bother me much... The noise cancelling is pretty solid. I cut my grass with them on the other day and if it wasn't for the vibration of the mower I wouldn't have known it was running.
The Evos are the same price right now/more expensive than the ANC. Is it still better to get the Evos for the build/sound quality and stuff even though its the same price or like $40-50 more than the ANCs?
Is it just me or does the ANC not do a great job? I activate it and can tell much of the noise around me goes away but there are still certain sounds that sound like they're being picked up by the mic and played to me... also there are really weird popping/shaking noises when I'm not playing music and ANC is turned on.
Got my ANCs 3 years ago for $160 because a Walmart employee had bought them, returned them and put them on clearance. They were the only pair in the store and I’m listening to this video with them!

Hi, I have the evos. Don't you find the bass on the evos like boxy and has only one tone? I am little disappointed. I had the crusher 360 and the bass was better. also don't like the earcups on the evos, those are smaller, less comfortable. I am planning to send it back, I haven't decided yet. What do you think? I haven't tried the ancs.
I also have 360. I was thinking about Evo but only if there is any improvement in bass. But I couldnt find any comment on that if Evo has better bass than 360.
I´ve contacted the support recently and they said at the end of this month a new version of the app and a software update for the ANCs will be released. So hopefully this will fix the hiss and the misleading battery indicator within the app. But I think it will.
@@xxtimmenatorxx7207 the battery indicator on the headphones themself can also be a bit buggy. Like... sometimes when I plug them in it instantly says that they're fully charged. When I hit the button it shows that they are fully charged. But they then drain very fast. Not had that issue more than twice, but still... :/
@@hoppebold02 Yep had the same issues. Sometimes the button didn't even respond and the led's didn't work. Had to power it on and off to get it work again. Strange. The ANCs are truly a great pair of headphones but there were a few things that bothered me like the highs were waay to sharp for me, with sound profile even worse. So I returned them and tomorrow the evos will arrive. Already listen to them and they sound a lot better to me, not so shrill like the ANCs. They have even more bass and for me they hit as good as ANCs or even more. But sound is always a very individual thing.

You should compare the active noise cancelling of the Crusher ANCs to the new Hesh ANC that just came out.

I thought the Evos were great on bluetooth,but then I tried them with my desktop headphone amp and that took everything to a whole new level lmao. That was enough bass to cause an earthquake,or at least it felt like that against my head LOL

i got the anc not a bad set as far as a Bluetooth headset better than audiophile head sets HELL NO better than generic cheap headphone HELL YA i would put it as a good mid rage headset

My only problem (one that makes the headphones unusable) is that even with the Noise Cancellation off the headphones have a terrible buzzing sound and apparently it’s not a faulty pair, this is how they sound, if you look it up online other people also notice that there is an incredible hissing sound whenever these headphones are on, even when the noise cancelation is not.

So in short, for beat/music making, the Evo's are the best choice, but if you just want a headphone to use it casually, you should go with the ANC's
I dropped my Skullcandy EVOs one time on concrete and the metal subwoofer inside messed up, now you hear nothing but rattling, I opened them up and the subwoofer looks fine but makes noise, so I ordered the ANCs because they are cheaper on amazon. I love that bass so I had to see if I made the right decision.

@@thegrimreaper270 I have no clue, maybe because they the only Crusher series thst has noise cancelling but i can tell you in terms of sound quality and bass, the evos are far better and accurate, i was actually disappointed i wasted my money on Crusher ANC’s, i paid $160 for the ANCs brand new.
TRUST ME, go with Evos, i ended up selling the ANCs and saving up some money to buy some more Evos.
I dont know how durable the ANCs are because i never dropped them but my new pair of Evos i dropped a few times and still works fine also that youtuber i bet was the SAME one i watched, ended up buying them. You better experience both first before buying because whoever said ANCs have more bass is a damn lie, let me tell you how they make it seem like ANCs have more bass, its because the mids and highs on the ANCs is horrible and low which makes the bass seem more pronounced when it isnt.
The Evos have better and more loud mids and highs that are crystal clear and has bass tuned better to lower frequency than the ANCs.

I bought my first ever Skullcandy which is on ear Skullcandy riff wired for $19.99 for my cd player and boy, I was blown away by it's punchy kicks and drums! I mostly listen to metal/hard rock songs and that skullcandy sounds better than my Sony, Philips, Panasonic HPs... Oh and BT can't handle 24bit 41-44khz lossless so wired mode is to go...

Hey man I’m halfway threw ur vid and I’m impressed with the knowledge and passion u share with ur viewers thanks for that!! Just an idea for the prefer rated ear cups if u get a nice sized nail and grab it with pliers and heat it up with a torch lighter and carefully place holes in a pattern and be sure not to melt the material to messy and then really clean with a piece of sandpaper and exacto knife each hole so they don’t scratch your ears I think u could achieve what your looking far as to the ventilation issues. I’m currently using Hesh Evo and sometimes I experience latency in the audio that is almost it has been distributed or lagged through. I thought probs the headphones can’t handle loud noise and maybe I should have bought crushers Evo, I really don’t know what to do at this point.

Even though the sound isnrt as crisp, they are much louder and the battery life is amazing. Also the fact that the bass meter is the greatest thing ever. Your video is the best comparison for anything I've ever seen because you got so detailed about the products it helps a lot!
I have the skullcandy crusher wireless, does the evo have much more punchy bass ? I'm thinking on upgrading but I dont want to buy it and the bass isn't as strong as the original
Trust me, you need to upgrade, the Evo's are on a whole new level! The bass is much more prominent, punchy and controlled, but will shake your head like never before, they are also louder in overall volume. I have the Crusher Wireless and was on the fence about upgrading, so so glad i did! The Crusher Wireless are now a museum piece! Go for it man! I'm one hundred percent confident you won't be disappointed!

Bobby Brian you can only use the bass with the wired but if the headphones are on; there is no hiss because there is no anc
the anc's are on sale for 199 right now do you think it is worth it to get the anc over the evo now
Let me make the buying decision for you with this example, I have the ANCs and the OG Crusher wireless, I use the OGs for the gym because they are cheap and they have better clamping force, I use the ANCs when gaming, I also use the ambient when Im with my kid and wife playing games so I can hear when they talk to me, the swivel make the ANCs and EVOs too loose for fitness, I think the EVOS are too incomplete, not good for fitness and it doesn't have ANC or my favorite feature that natural abient mode, but for you needs, the price is not bad for a great soundings set of headphones, so IT ALL DEPEND ON YOUR NEEDS.
I used to have a system that blew the hatch open on my old car, literally broke the latch, and would set off car alarms at full volume. I love bass. I got the Evos and they are the best bass heavy headphones ive ever used. With the bass all the way up and the right music i can kick back and almost feel like im rocking my old system. Best $200 purchase ive ever made!
Also I've probably used them 50+ hours and still haven't charged them since day 1, still have 40% battery life right now. So they last forever which is awesome

I sent my crusher 360s in for warranty.(earpads came unglued). Since they were out a stock i got a 300 dollar credit. The crusher ancs were on sale for 199 so i purchased both the crusher anc and the evo's. Honestly im disapointed. Neither one macthes the bass of the 360s. I feel like the anc's bass distorts like crazy. The evo's bass a wider bass response with no peaks while the 360 's peak in the sub bass. I sold the anc's and I'll be getting a used set of 360's for shure. If bass is what your most interested, keep the 360s.
Same here, I don't understand how he can say the ANCs are better than the 360s. The bass on the ANCs just sounds too forced, the 360s sound way better, much more natural. I was wondering about the EVOs but your comment answered my questions, cheers.

I originally thinking about getting Filips Fidelio X2HR and than I found out about Crusher EVO. They are same price now on Amazon. Which one should I get? Currently I have Fidelio X3 and I thought bass is little weak so I was gonna get X2HR for little extra bass.
I have a pair of evo that I got at best buy but mine doesn't have bass slider, and it has so much bass that it sounds fuzzy, do you know how to adjust the bass without the slider?

Really want the ANCs but was not feeling the extra price tag especially if these are being considered by most reviewers as close without one feature. @@taricohenry2227 I'm coming from the OG Crusher wireless so they sound amazing and the bass is crazy!!! The ANC does have a hiss when nothing is playing which does not bother me much... The noise cancelling is pretty solid. I cut my grass with them on the other day and if it wasn't for the vibration of the mower I wouldn't have known it was running.

The Evos are the same price right now/more expensive than the ANC. Is it still better to get the Evos for the build/sound quality and stuff even though its the same price or like $40-50 more than the ANCs?
Is it just me or does the ANC not do a great job? I activate it and can tell much of the noise around me goes away but there are still certain sounds that sound like they're being picked up by the mic and played to me... also there are really weird popping/shaking noises when I'm not playing music and ANC is turned on.

Get the xm3 because have amazing noise canceling , better comfort and better sound overall ( the bass is better/quantity on evo but u really need extreme bass ? )

Hi, I have the evos. Don't you find the bass on the evos like boxy and has only one tone? I am little disappointed. I had the crusher 360 and the bass was better. also don't like the earcups on the evos, those are smaller, less comfortable. I am planning to send it back, I haven't decided yet. What do you think? I haven't tried the ancs.
I also have 360. I was thinking about Evo but only if there is any improvement in bass. But I couldnt find any comment on that if Evo has better bass than 360.

I´ve contacted the support recently and they said at the end of this month a new version of the app and a software update for the ANCs will be released. So hopefully this will fix the hiss and the misleading battery indicator within the app. But I think it will.
@@xxtimmenatorxx7207 the battery indicator on the headphones themself can also be a bit buggy. Like... sometimes when I plug them in it instantly says that they're fully charged. When I hit the button it shows that they are fully charged. But they then drain very fast. Not had that issue more than twice, but still... :/
@@hoppebold02 Yep had the same issues. Sometimes the button didn't even respond and the led's didn't work. Had to power it on and off to get it work again. Strange. The ANCs are truly a great pair of headphones but there were a few things that bothered me like the highs were waay to sharp for me, with sound profile even worse. So I returned them and tomorrow the evos will arrive. Already listen to them and they sound a lot better to me, not so shrill like the ANCs. They have even more bass and for me they hit as good as ANCs or even more. But sound is always a very individual thing.
