Blu's schedule is just hilarious. Flew to Paris, raced test event. I wouldn't be surprised if he went straight to the airport to get to Singapore right after the race, and won the PTO Asian open. Then flew back to Paris to get his bike, and then to Finland. What an absolute beast.

I didn't realize just how nerdy I've gotten with this content until I realized it was happening in Milwaukee. I brought my father in law and girls to watch and the whole time we cheered for all the athletes and it turns out I knew almost all the top people. Bringing that level of accessibility and household names to the spot is such an under appreciated and awesome thing that you're doing! Love the content!
@talbotcox is the most important person in triathlon in my opinion.
With all due respect triathlon is the only female sport I’ve got attached too. Women like Taylor, Paula, Ashley etc mainly due to these videos and their own. Same for the men I fall into the new fan camp and know almost all the top guys aswell from these videos.
If Lionel does something crazy and wins the internet will explode 🙌🙌
@@bradleymuggleton8465 I agree. I actually watch the female races and am excited to do so. With most other sports I just don't care for it. Triathlon is still uncorrupted.

Amazed KB doesn’t have a team to box up and fly his road bike post test event
Check list for international or time zone travel. You should try to eat and sleep mentally different about 3 days before you leave focusing on the time you are going to be at. Then you change all of your watches to the new time zone as you are boarding your flight. Never keep any watch on old time zone. Focus on where you are and forget about where you were.

Lahti is a great area. Used to be a great bike shop downtown. The area looks a lot like Northern Ontario where I lived for years which kinda explains all the Finnish heritage people that live up there. Not as hilly as Muskoka as I remember but similar. Enjoy Finland and the race.

If he is choosing his battles he should be prepared to take whatever advantages he can get. That's why I said 1% gains

People have been saying for years Lionel wastes his talent going after Kona/Full distance when he obviously had this ridiculous talent at the 70.3 distance. I am super excited to see if he can pull off a podium here. I'd love the win, but KB feels untouchable right now. And all the others... But Lionel in good form, relaxed.. this is gonna be a fun watch.

Ditch the tech, ditch the data and just race who's there. Isn't that what you used to do when you smash them all in 70.3? Just race hard. When other athletes know your cards they can bear you. Keep cards close to the chest.
