This guy tried to throw like 4 times in a single match. Jager is the easiest torpboat ever, fast torps, lots of them, insane concealment, and they even gave it the worst guns imaginable so that you wont get tempted to try to gun someone down...and yet here we are
Might play the devil's advocate here but there is some merit with his initial play at the beginning, but only if you're intimate with how the new French torpedo boats work; Some background is that entire line has a playstyle that is modeled after the Yolo'milio; you pick and choose the gun fights you can feasibly take, and you blitz at larger ships that your guns just can't handle. In fact; Le Hardi's torpedoes are the best in tier with almost no downsides; they have humungous alpha strike (19k per), they have respectable range, they're very fast, they reload reasonably fast, they have reasonable forward and rear firing angles, they have very high flood chance, and she can broadside 5 fish in the water whilst having two left to spare on the other side (there's a triple launcher amid ship and two duals per side). The main (and arguably only) downside about the torpedoes is that they have to be used in a certain range to be able to utilize all of the alpha strike damage on the torpedoes (6km) as once they get past that, they drop off in damage. And that isn't saying much, they will still do similar alpha to US and German torpedoes at max range. Based on what the Le Hardi was doing; VGodswar might have been trying to screen him from just completely wrecking his three teammates behind him. That Le Hardi only had one very narrow lane to launch torps from (either from short distance or from long should he choose to just throw them for some damage and a good chance to cause a flood). So when you consider this: He did manage to isolate the Le Hardi to the corner of the map and right next to three teammates who can help him (although that was mainly both his teammates having nowhere else to position except there or away from the cap, along with the Le Hardi being forced to close the distance in order to use his torps to their full advantage), he wasn't in any threat of being shot at by anything but the Le Hardi, and he also wasn't facing a true gun platform (although Le Hardi will most certainly out trade or just outright sink him in a 1v1, the ship is not winning awards for it's artillery that's for sure; two turrets aft, and one forward with firing angles that are favorable forward, paired with a 5.5 second reload and small caliber) so he wasn't going to just be sunk outright, especially considering he has a heal, and the Le Hardi doesn't. Another thing is that him shooting the Le Hardi was him baiting it into a prolonged fight and to fire back at him so that the Le Hardi wouldn't just outright flee and/or go undetected so quickly, which buys his teammates time shoot at him (that's the double edged sword about facing the Jager; it's guns are so bad that EVERYONE has the ability to sink it, so literally anyone that has guns will want to shoot at it, since leaving one alone means it's going to be just as hard finding it the next time around). In fact if you look back at the replay it's when he glides too far from the island and into a clear line of sight of the Iowa and Tirpitz that he finally does silence his guns. So with all that being said; Was the play EXTREMELY reckless? Yes Was he lucky to only have traded 1:1 in health in that fight with the Le Hardi? Yes Would I have personally done it? Absolutely not. It would have just been safer and smarter to just to put his focus on landing torps with his spotting advantage on the Le Hardi rather than assume that his teammates would have supported him considering that once they lost their P.Ruprecht, that flank his own not just in ships but in DPM. Both him and the Le Hardi really shouldn't have played that corner of the map, honestly. He's the stealthiest thing in that matchmaking bar the sub at periscope, so he could have more comfortably played open water, and the Le Hardi could have just coordinated with or at least work around what the sub was doing to just win the cap sooner and help put down the Musashi.

A close call no matter what, and a great video! There' a little issue about the sequence of events tho... Is what I assume the drunk design team at Wargaming were saying to each other as they put this thing into the game.
Jingles to Jäger captain: stop shooting, your ship could lose a gunfight to a T1 cruiser. Only mistake the jäger made was shooting for a bit too long when he clearly couldnt hit the french dd any longer
Anyone sinking six ships in a game can not be a bad player unless the ships were throwing themselves into his shells and torpedoes. Great video as always.

95 knots = 175.9 km/h (108 mph)... that is kind of bonkers.

As a torp DD main, this fills me with aome of the emotions of all time
Rise above the algorithm Mighty Jingle master of the salt mines!!!
Man what a video! Thank you so much for sharing this.
jesus, i thought i'd seen it all...wow that special on whole new level.
Amazing season!!! As always thank you Jingles!!!
Very entertaining to watch
How to command a destroyer when the only thing you're capable of is licking your bedroom window...
Its amazing how the french destroyer was spotted for as long as it was and yet VGods team didn't fire at them.
This was absolutely hilarious. My stomach hurts. Thank you.
Thoroughly enjoyed that one!
The jaws of defeat were drooling on this one
Wow, I was not expecting that result. Kept us guessing, who was going to throw.
Brilliant Finale!!!!!!, Bring on Season 5!!!
Wow!!!! Brilliant Episode!!!!
God that was a rollercoaster of emotions :D
legit snatched Victory from the jaws of Defeat. :O
thanks Jingles!
Standing ovation, really impressive.
Impressive at what, being bad?
@@stefanocrosazzo3262 So bad, he won.
Why is it, that its so fun to see people fail to horribly :D
Brilliant replay!
That was one hell of a replay!
Great video, thanks!
This entire match I felt like I was watching a noob and myself in my early days playing world of warships except he has the GOD OF LUCK giving him the death glare just for this match and willing him to win by any means necessary 😂😂
See the Jager isn't actually a WW1 destroyer with a jet propulsion engine and rocket powered torpedoes. It's actually a Halland from an alternate dimension but because our eyes can't understand that we just see a old, ratty, WW1 destroyer. Is what I assume the drunk design team at Wargaming were saying to each other as they put this thing into the game.
Very very special finale indeed
Jingles to Jäger captain: stop shooting, your ship could lose a gunfight to a T1 cruiser. Oh this is painful to watch
Also Jingles: Doesn't comment on how the Jäger ends up winning the trade anyway due to having cruiser support which the French DD doesnt
The jäger positioned beautifully where no enemy support could reach it. Only mistake the jäger made was shooting for a bit too long when he clearly couldnt hit the french dd any longer
Wow... The level of throw is strong in this one
Well done, this guy manage to throw a throw. Amazing!! 🤣🤣
VGodswar likes to live dangerously!
Kept us all on the edge of our seats 😂
"Oh no comrade premier... It has only just begun."
14:21 VGodsWars was detected about 3 and a half seconds before he fired on the LePanto. The LePanto's secondaries fired first. VGods had no choice.
wow, so many flips in this one, was not sure who will win until the end
I'm freaking stressed after watching this. This is AMAZING
If watching a video of a game stresses you, you have mental problems and need a therapist.
Good morning from the east coast of Merica.
That gasp I gusped. This was shocking, thank you lol
It’s World of Warships, reality has little to do with it.
Can't even count how many times i held my breath.
Jingles mentioning Red Alert 2 my favorite C&C game
The end literally got me clenching my butt lol. But seeing the torpedoes made me hope it would be a trade.
He made goat status by accident.
Even bad players have stellar games once in a while.
Anyone sinking six ships in a game can not be a bad player unless the ships were throwing themselves into his shells and torpedoes.
Great video as always.
14 sec reload on the guns??????? Oh Jingles, never change........🙏
Fastest 14 second reload I've ever seen
@@ObsoleteEvil yep, time travel is real.
That was an emotional roller coaster 😂😂😂
