Can the general asvab score be waived if I meet the rest of the qualifications?
Based on Air Force requirements, the minimum Armed Forces Qualifications Test (AFQT) score required for entry on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is 36 (31 if they meet all other mandatory requirements for an AFSC). If you haven't already done so, contact your Air Force Recruiter to discuss your scores.

Are there any EOD spots in the Reserves or Air Guard? I'm 31 now and am looking to pursue in a year. This AFSC has always been an interest of mine. How long is the training from BMT to graduation from NAVSCLEOD?
leaving in a few weeks for bmt, i signed with an air guard base for eod. They have them availible.

What’s the sign on bonuses and the requirements for the asvab for EOD?

Can you join as prior service
The Prior Service (PS) program is an enlistment program, allowing a select number of separated individuals to return to active duty. The total accession is subject to change based on Air Force needs. An Air Force Recruiter will help determine if you are qualified. A DD 214 is needed to begin the process. Below is the FY 23 listing of available careers for the PS program. The ASVAB is broken down into four main categories (Mechanical, Administrative, General, and Electronic), and all enlisted career fields have a minimum score requirement that falls under one or more of these categories. These scores, along with the results of your physical examination, will be reviewed when you undergo job counseling during the enlistment process at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).
For this particular career field, the score needed falls under General and is a 49. There is not a requirement for a score in any of the other areas. However, keep in mind, that you will need an overall score of 36 (31 if you meet all other mandatory requirements for an AFSC) to be eligible to join the Air Force.

@@USAirForceRecruiting Not regarding EOD, but I am currently a Cadet in the Civil Air Patrol, and I'm making C/2d Lt. Soon which I heard qualifies for E-3 out of BMT. Wasn't able to confirm with my Leadership, is that true?
Advanced rank can be earned through many different channels for your accomplishments prior to entering the Air Force.

College ROTC
2yr completion letter = E-2
College Credits (Qualifying)
20 semester or 30 quarter hours = E-2
45 semester or 67 quarter hours = E-3
Civil Air Patrol
