if you have over 45 credits, you can be an E3 after tech school. the same as an enlisted person with a degree. people with degrees can also become officers if they are accepted to Officer training school. that is a higher rank than every enlisted person, even the enlisted members who serve the whole 20 years

(You must obtain this status on your own, the Air Force cannot assist you with obtaining it) and you must speak, read and write English fluently to apply. You must live in the United States to apply You cannot be a Conscientious Objector. A conscientious objector is an individual who has claimed the right to refuse to perform military service on the grounds of freedom of thought, conscience, or religion. Any Law Violations will need to be evaluated Any use of illegal drugs or misuse of prescription medication will need to be evaluated You will also have a credit check run looking for delinquencies and overbalanced credit. If someone has an associate degree in cyber security. After basic will we still be considered on the lower end rank vs if we had a bachelors
