Im from the UK and the 1st time i have seen any of iverson fire rescue vids! YOU GUYS as A VOLUNTEER BRIGADE GET MY RESPECT AND ADMIRATION for what you do over in the Philippines in Parañaque City. I know (only from what i read on the internet and from comments here) that they dont have fire hydrants ect ALSO a BIG BIG BIG thumbs up TO THE DRIVER OF THE ENGINE! ( again i only know what traffic is like over there through tv and yt vids) so HE definatly gets my respect on how he managed to drive the rout to the fire with ALL that Traffic ...AND JUST like in the UK we too get drivers who maybe get stuck at a junction / stop light and dont ALLWAYS pull over (sometimes they cant if there is nowhere to pull over) BUT Here in the UK i dont think i have ever seen driving skills such as this before weaving in and out of the traffic ...AND the fact you tried to get past a traffic jam and were going to go on another road around an then decided to go in the opposite side of the road against traffic ...was a ballsy move ad as the vid says sometimes the safest way doing counterflow traffic as they can see you coming (very rarely you see that in the UK they dont like doing it if it can be helped but it does happen occasional )...BUT here in the UK we have dedicated bus lanes on busy roads or coming up to a busy intersection and what we call 2 + lanes at peak rush hr times (meaning only cars carring 2 people in the car can use them at peak times going to work!) on roads ..only buses taxis and motorbikes can use bus lanes AND OF COURSE emergency services that does help with traffic flow problems in an emergency..so thats prob why we very rarely see conterflow traffic excursions of emergency services! ) and very prob saved time (and lives) getting to the fire! I salute you all! As a said a big thumbs up and you got a new subscriber in the UK Keep up the great work guys! ❤❤😉😉 sorry for the long comment BUT im just in Awe of what you guys did to get to the emergency ..when i get paid i WILL be putting in some cash to the go fund me page you totaly deserve that if your not getting funding to buy equipment, uniforms and Maintenance for the Engine much love from the UK P.S i love the Filipino people because i have done a lot of cruises with marella AND even though tips are included we ALWAYS tip EXTRA to our waiters, cabin stewards, resturant staff, bar staff and wine waiters as the are more often than not From the Philippines and are allways great staff and freindly and we treat them as NORMAL FOLKS , not as staff that are there just to serve you they are people just the same as us paying passengers AND i respect they are working hard and away from thier families for most of the year just to earn a decent wage with the same feelings ..plus CAUSE tips are included in the price of the marrela cruises ...what we tip extra to the staff they get to keep personaly and they work bloody hard not much time off and sign on for 6mth to a year and I KNOW (as spoke to a lot of them) they send a lot of the cash they earn back home! 💔💔What did break my heart though was at 37:53 when the guy was throwing a bucket of water TO TRY to put out the fire ...and in the vid ( im an animal lover and PET owner) SAW THE DOGS COME OUT ...but ALSO saw at least 2 cats go back in to the burning stuctures ! ONE OF THEM SCALED SOME ROCK SHEET leaned against the structure THROUGH A WINDOW that there was OBV fire visable ..as much as love seeing human life rescuded in this sort of incident i know you cant rescue everything an everyone AND not your fault TBH (without sounding cruel) THE RESIDENTS put more onus on their belonging (thats fair enuough cause prob all they had) .....BUT for some residents not to prioritise thier pets after grabbing their posessions and make sure they were safe and with them and NOT letting them go back into the structures (as thats what they do on instinct as its home) shocked me as a pet owner thats the only thing (aprt from the destrucion of OBV poor people homes as in a sort of shanty town who prob lost everything aprt from what they could grab) THAT REALY UPSET ME WATCHING THIS VID....i dont know what happened to the pets that went back inside ..they prob passed away ...BUT as i said it was up to the owners to make them safe once the fire broke out ....you were there to save human lives and property and stop it spreading so you DID the job as it was supposed to be done! ...again props to you all as it looked like a difficult call to attend with no water supply on hand to fight the fire! you ALL did your best in the circumstances! 😘😘😉😉❤❤
You are Great. You are doing a wonderful job saving people and their property. In my country - firemen come first in everyone's heart. Take care and take care of yourself.
I'm not in the Philippines, I'm in USA, but I hope you all at Iverson Fire Volunteer are safe after that fire. To the Iverson Engine driver, ASTOUNDING and AWESOME SAFE driving skills to you through that very heavy traffic! It was amazing to watch from the 'front' seat! To all the volunteers at Iverson, you are all HEROES and please ALWAYS STAY SAFE first, every day! Truly brave heroes all of you. I hope and pray that those who can help financially will support your continued service to help others by your complete sacrifice and risk that you take every call you respond to!
First, I live here in the Philippines and I see how difficult it is for emergency equipment operators to navigate some drivers who seem to know nothing about making way for such vehicles. I encourage all who see this video to help these guys and other fire fighters. I see it all the time! You did s great job driving po. I hope you can get the same type of fire fighting equipment we use in the US. Also, fire fighting uniforms to have on when going to a scene. I saw a 4 alarm in Cebu and the pump truck ran out of water. I don't see fire hydrants anywhere I travel around the Philippines. I think the local government all the way up to the president's office should make that a big part of a national infastructure plan. I hope you never have to fight a fire in one of those mega story high rise buildings in metro manila. I will contact you and get more information about donations po. I'm a former "smoke eater" from the states. I live here in the Philippines now and I want to give back. Please stay safe in all that you and your team do 🙏 I will contact you soon!
these driving skills are just insane! just wow some people can't even drive properly at half the speed but this guy is just activating beast mode when hopping on the drivers seat. this is just awesome to watch, so thanks for sharing. wish you all the best and get home safely every time.
Great work guys! Looks like you guys have a relay problem with the Q siren…try to separate the electronic and the Q siren with a relay or hook the kill switch from another battery, to the switch and then return it back to the battery so the Q siren could always charge the battery on every use. Good luck boys!
Hell man, even the local buffed up civillians are helping you out big cudos to everyone in your country this is a rare sight where everyone is there to help each other
Damn motorist doesn’t understand what to do lol but y’all my favorite 1st responder on TH-cam Thank you for y’all service,,,Stay safe and once again props to the driving skills wow
I hope Iverson 6 is okay. God be with him and with you all. Driving - I had a partner in Atlanta - the Norcross area - who freaked out when I drove the wrong way down an off ramp to get to a wreck. Oh well.
You have a great team and you did well considering the rain, traffic, failing air horn and Q sirent, and then the situation on scene. Keep up the great work and thanks for the translation at the end! Stay safe and look forward to the next video!
Dang, that driving part at the expressway before the target area was hellish, most of the vehicles didn't know how to yield and give way to the firetruck. At the same time, you guys have an amazing driving skills!
love the video brothers keep up the Amazing work shout out from south river vol fire department from New Jersey USA hell of driving skill stay safe out there hell of a job guys

I have a tonne of respect for these volunteer brigades! Kudos!! The level of disrespect from the other motorists would have frustrated, and annoyed the hell out of me tho..!!
Not ebough budget as they are only volunteers and a lot of time have to rely on donations for the brigade to continue to function. Would you believe they sometimes have to chip in just for the trucks fuel just to be able to run or do maintenance? Thats passion and dedication highlighting the bayanihan culture in the Philippines. And thats only one thing about these volunteer brigades.
Great job guys! It amazes how people just don't seem to care enough to get out of the way. In the states people move over for emergency vehicles immediately. When I lived in Okinawa for several years, I went out on many ambulance runs and people wouldn't get over for us either. So frustrating.
This is actually kinda insane. As a german Firefighter im kinda impressed by how well the situation with the traffic is handeled by the driver. Theres like 5 Sirens at once on a car. Its also very shocking to see how unorganised the fight against the fire is, theeres no active water supply and the fire hoses just lay on the ground in knots. I also couldnt work if there were this many people all around. Its also kinda scyra to see the fire spread like this without anybody actively doing something against it.
bro much respect. american fire fighters got it rough, cant imagine yall dealing with this super dense population area. and all volunteer in a city is crazy. plus those buildings are not up to code at all, makes it way more risky. fire will spread faster, and buildings will collapse faster. yall do good with what resources you got and for a fire that big in a US city you would have the whole police department getting people out of the area.

When you arrive on the scene please get in full protective gear. Put on your seat belts while in the cab or a safety harness for those outside. I love what you do. Please keep up the great work.
a big salute sa lahat ng mga magigiting na bombero ng pilipinas ... mabuhay kayo .... ang bad nga lang ng mga tao at driver sa kalsada.. ayaw magsitabi sa bangketa para naman mabigyan ng daan ang fire truck
