This is hands down the best Asli review video I've ever seen. I appreciated you going in depth about every thing you experienced in regards to the staff, the procedure, the aftercare, the conversations etc. Most people who review this clinic only focus on the results and very little on the experience, maybe others have not experienced the same thing and that is why but either or I appreciate this video a lot as I just recently contacted them in regards to fixing a botched hair transplant I did with Bosley. I find it ironic how I had a Great experience with bosley but ended up with terrible results for a significant amount of money, where as you had a terrible experience but in turn have achieved immaculate results for a very great price. I appreciate this video so much its unfortunate that this clinic is dishonest and doesn't seem to want to be transparent or fair to their customers. These are the reasons a lot of people who go out of the US for surgery come back in body bags. A lot of those overseas clinics are dishonest and can care less about their customers well being. I'm glad nothing happened to you brother and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos about your results and such in the future.
Man that’s a lot to go through. I felt like I was a movie when you were talking about it. I’m glad that you’re ok and the results are going well. Thanks for being so informative.
I don't know man, even though he had to endure all that BS - his hairline went from a 40 yr old to mid 20s, 4500 USD, for flight + hotel + room service + dental work + 3000 grafts (FUE) + PRP + SMP + antibiotics (weren't effective enough), but at that price - I think they still did right by him Rio got the older FUT type done in 2015 in the USA for 6500 USD for 1500 grafts, I think the American clinic did him dirty, more than the clinic in Turkey which might be why he was so distrustful the second time around So I don't know how I feel about this, if a grocery store was farther away, and the people there didn't speak any English and always gave me the side eye but always charged a fair price, vs a local store that were friendlier but charged 3x the amount...
My sincerest condolences to you for that horrible experience. You were brave to want to do so many different things in 1 visit to a place you were unfamiliar with. You’ve got balls. I’m contemplating getting hair restoration in Turkey but your experience has made me do more research!!! Praise God you are still alive from your reactions to the medicines, I’ve traveled a lot so bad taxi drivers are common. The biggest question I have is are you satisfied with your results and if so would you do it again? There’s lots of videos about the discomfort of the procedure and the journey but they all end with they’d do it again.. one good thing came of it, you made good money from this video and others regarding this situation.
Very in depth Rio, my hair started receding around 24yrs old and just got worst as I just hit 29 but I just learned to be happy with my receding hairline, and focus on other important shit in life. Stay strong tho bro!
@Weevil my hair started thinning at 20, I’m 24 now and it only getting thinner, I just buzz my head and my head shaped like a peanut too lmao. Most women are more attracted to men with confidence and humor, and those that work towards goals. There’s no woman/man/whatever ur taste is, worth having that wouldn’t want to be with you because your hair. I know it’s hard cause social media makes everyone insecure but just gotta seek to love and value yourself. You will always find a partner. Johnny Sins bald and got more ladies than all of us.
Your choice of hairline looks very appropriate. It looks pretty good. I'm glad that it worked out for you. That's probably a $22,000 procedure in the US.
Hello, I'm a foreigner who's been living in Turkey for the past 10 years or so. I'm sorry that your experience wasn't satisfying in Turkey. But mostly this is how things are done almost everywhere here. The lack of communication with the foreigners. and the fact that they only wanna take your money. Now for the medicine from what I read on the boxes, I do believe they are the same but one is more powerful than the other, but the manufacturer of the medicine is different on each one. Much love from Turkey
Maan I was just doing some research on this topic, and I found Your video after watching many before, truth must be told, Your video is the most Informative, Entertaining, Sad, Full of Action, Heartfelt, Adventurous, Craziest, Yet The Most Honest One I have seen so far. And Trust Me, this is the case of the majority of the Turkish people, for them it's never about the quality of the service, it's all about sucking every last penny from You, specially if You're a foreigner under their own care, You'll be like a sheep under care of Wolves, I know that because I have 9 years living here (Turkey) so far. So I totally understand Your frustration and I know everything You went through is the Norm in this country (Unfortunately). Also, Thank You so much for sharing Your experience regardless of how long the video may be, It may not do much but, YOU EARNED YOURSELF A NEW SINCERE SUBSCRIBER. Looking forward to watch More of Your videos.
After doing a lot of research and asking around, I decided on a clinic and I can recommend ELEXUS CLINIC in Istanbul with peace of mind. I had my hair done there and after 6 months I can say hallelujah! The result is incredible and the price is unrivalled. They do not rip you off like other clinics and they spare time for the operation. Many thanks to the Elexus team!
Okay I take back what i said about them knowing who you are In your previous video lol. I had my transplant about a month ago now i didn't have as near as bad of an experience as yourself. My consultant was very helpful and kept it 100 with me the whole time i was there he didn't push me on products but he did recommend them. I also wanna say they knew you had and infection the first day you came back and ill tell you how i know.I had DHI done and with DHI you are more prone to infection so you have to receive those shots you were talking about but didn't experience the first medication they shot you with i had the second. No one that received FUE during the time i was there had to take shots. So i will say they knew what was up I'm assuming they didn't want to frighten you. I also totally agree with your statements about Fred he is very arogant and feels like he can do whatever he wants. I had a similar experience when he was trying to draw my edge up I'm like naw i want it like this he wanna argue about how i want my hair smh. At one point in time this man came in the room while i was getting Ozone therapy and flicked my tittie and asked me do i want some work done almost slapped taste out dude mouth had to remember were i was at. Other than him I will say the full staff is very helpful and nice Fred can kick rocks though. I kinda learned in Turkey they talk to people any kinda way regardless not a place i would like to revisit. Sorry for the long comment bruh.
Yo that Fred guy done the same thing to me, I was getting Ozone done also, he was just lurking around, flicked my stomach, he say trying to get to get work done, was trying to sell me a six pack, I nearly lost it. It took all I got in me not to smack him
Bruh your hair looks real good! If you never talked about this on your chanel, no one could tell you did all of that, your donor area looks good, a few more months and you wont even tell, you get a taper fade and no one will be able to tell you did anything. Glad to see if came out well, that whole procedure can be worrying , I could imagine.
Thanks for the information. Your experience and you're being open isn't taken for granted. I know this probably wasn't easy to do so I commend you for sharing. I had to stop what I was doing because of how crazy the story got. Been rocking with you through the journey with your fam, yourself, viewers, and now this. Glad to see you still making it through!
Brah!! Thanks for your story. My friend had a similair experience and its given me some insight where to get treatment done. Ur hair looks good and ur hairline flows right with your face. Ive seen guys get it too low and it looks bad!!! Respect!!! For sharing your hair journey.
I recommend going to Clinicana at the Acibadem hospital in Istanbul. I recently got my 2nd transplant there. I didn’t have any of the problems that this guy got
This was a fascinating story. I can't wait to hear the dental part of the story. Your hairline looks great. It's very natural looking. Thanks for the info.👍
After going to AT for my transplant, I can definitely attest to some of these scenarios. I didn’t have a bad experience, but I can vouch that your testimony may be accurate.
for four months that is an excellent result, it takes up to a year for full growth, but it looks great as is! In terms of the number of grafts, each graft can usually have more than one hair, so a graft can have one or two or three or even four hairs per graft.
Hey bro I like how you did this in terms of reflection. Though my experience is nothing remotely close to this I’m gonna follow your blueprint. Here I was fretting because some of my videos aren’t real time. Thanks man at the end of the day results matter. Your hair looks great 👊🏿
It’s not a first time I am hearing about Asli Tarzan’s clinic! Thank you brother for your feedback! Soon I will be going to turkey for my hair transplant!
Great video! I’m excited to see how your hair looks like when you taper it. Did they mention anything about the scaring in the doner area? I know it’s small circles, but do they disappear? Or is it small circular scars? No one ever talks about the aftermath. Like what if you wanted to fade your hair in the area where they took follicles.
OMG man your hair looks very natural and great! No need to lower the hairline it looks awesome and natural. Hard to believe you are only 4 months in. Keep up the great work your hair is looking great!
Thank you for the detail video brother was very helpful. I have a question about the infection, how long after returning from turkey did to see a dermatologist and begun using ointment, and what did they prescribe?
Thanks for sharing this experience brother, very important to know. The pain you went through was worth it in my eyes. Most things in life that are worth doing involves some sort of pain.
Your hair looks amazing. I'm currently researching for the right Hair clinic to perform my hair transplant. I have hereditary male pattern baldness that started in my 20s.
Thanks for sharing your experience, sorry to hear that you had to go through all this upsell drama and unprofessional behaviors from the clinic. So glad to see your progress, I am happy for you man. 👍👏
WOW! You are really a brave heart - that is a lot for a man to process and digest in a total foreign land. I have been to Turkey several times before (on vacations) so I can totally relate with you on this persuasive manner of wanting to let you buy something you don`t need or want. But this happening during a procedure, that is on another whole level. Can I ask you a personal question? Why did you go through the FUT hair transplantation process in 2015? Was is because it was hard to get the hair follicle from your scalp? And if yes, then how come they did it easily in Istanbul without another FUT? I had a problem last year with the FUE because my hair follicles were too curly and bent from the roots. So after a sample operation with 500 grafts (of which they could only successfully take roughly 30 grafts), I was advised to do the FUT. But, also like in your case, I lack density after I did it and my hairline looks even more awkward than it looked before, because it was moved a bit further to the front ( the doctor`s idea, I really did not mind keeping my normal hairline even though I have a huge forehead like you do). Now, I went to the same clinic again here in Germany last week to correct it and make it dense. Unfortunately, the new doctor that claimed to have more experience with black hair also gave up with the FUE process just after removing roughly 100 grafts of which more than 60 of them were damaged - so I ended up doing nothing. Now they are telling me that it is impossible to do the hair transplantation and offering the SMP for my hairline as well as for the scar from the FUT that was planned to be covered with SMP. This is why I am asking the question, because you might help me a great deal with your answer. I actually stumbled on your video (which I learnt a lot from) while researching for a good clinic in Turkey that has experience with black hair - and damn, was I glad? I was so happy hearing all you said. And, yeah, different strokes for different folks, but your experience and its narrative was sure an eye opener. I have spent well over $7,000 already with not a tincture of success nor change in result. Thank you in advance for your response!
I have had this done twice in the Boston area by a Doctor I have come to trust greatly. Both times he transplanted about 1800 hairs. The results have been great. He makes that determination based on what he thinks will survive the transplant. If he did 4000 hairs the survival rate would be much less. With that I have just wasted 2000 hairs from my donor area. When my dude here talks about over-harvesting this is what he means. A good Surgeon is more worried about the results and whats best for you than being able to say they can transplant a large number of hairs for you.
@@Igorsov To add more fullness. The Doc does not over-harvest. The 1800 number makes the best use of the hairs he extracts since most will survive the transplant. If I did 3600 at the first surgery maybe half to 60% will survive. You are wasting so many hairs from the donor area when surgeons do this(overharvesting).
Watched the 1st two videos. Well made. You look restored fully to the camera! I stopped on your 1st video because I looked like that was 25. I tried a hairpiece for less then 24 hours, shaved my head on my 30th birthday with friends! It was liberating. What you've really beaten is your unwavering confidence and intelligence. Your light isThe Omage with The Great Doctors! 👍Imagine how they feel while taking each client pre-post surgery. Your good looking! Lay low and live large! 🦌 ✌
Hey man not sure if you’ll see this but I know a bit about medicine and injections. First they typically do give antibiotics to you regardless if you have an infection after surgery to prevent an infection from occurring. Second the injection you felt the first time was due to the nurse hitting your nerve in your butt. You’re supposed to inject in the top outer corner of the glute but sometimes you can hit the sciatic nerve. This sends a burning and numbing feeling down the back of your leg, has nothing to do with the medicine. It’s not permanent it’s just happens sometimes. Sometimes you’ll feel a bit weird for a month actually I guess in turkey it’s just their standard to do intramuscular injections in the glute, but it can actually be done sometimes in the shoulder or leg. It’s actually quite normal though to do intramuscular injections in the butt as it’s the safest method. Also the reason the first injection you got was “different” than the second is just due to dosage. The way antibiotics work, you sometimes have to start with a different dosage and change it as time goes on. The actual medicine was exactly the same, just the dosage was different and brand. What’s odd is, the 1st injection which you said hurt more had more lidocaine in it which is a local anesthetic, maybe that’s why you felt numb after. Hope that puts your mind at ease. I’ve had hundreds of injections in my butt and sometimes it just happens, it sucks but it’s just one of those things you have to go through with glute IM injections as they can’t be perfect every time. If you’re ever in the situation again one trick you can do is flex your glute a bit when they stick the needle in but not when they’re injecting,it stiffens the muscle for the needle to go in easier and pushes the nerve away from the injection area I’m not huge in international medicine but when I did research in overseas cosmetic or elective surgeries I found that it’s much safer and better to go to a hospital versus a clinic. It’s not as cheap but it’s still cheaper than US and it’s going to give you the same quality/care as a US hospital as they’re usually board certified, internationally regulated and sometimes doctors are US trained or accredited.
Man that looks Great & Amazing! I just saw your video, how much did the hair transplant or graft cost? What is the total cost including hotel, meals etc cost? Thank you.
I really like you're hair transplant videos. I recently decided to have my hair transplant done here in the UK that costs around £5000 because I don't want to go to Turkey as I don't want that communication issue like you did. I'm looking forward to the videos about you're dental procedures. Take care dude 👍
I appreciate you sharing your experience. OAN, I hate when people tell a story and continuously say, I’ll get to that in a bit. All these placeholders, just tell the story 😩
Yea that Fred guy is something else but I was there in June and yes everything you mention about them being money hungry and doesn't communicate well are on point.
this is why, if you have the extra cash. I'd rather just do it in the US or other developed country. Because medicine is not just about doing performing the surgery. It's also about communication and "customer service". Post operation treatment, etc.. as someone who also grew up in a middle income country. I 100% expected this would be experience you'd be receiving. Hopefully you're okay
Hey Rio, really appreciate your honest views here, having just been through the Turkish hair experience, which sounded not as bad for me as it was for you, it’s so useful for others. I really emphasize with these wise words. Hope you’re doing ok now.
Both the meds were antibiotics. The first one was Cefuroxim and the other one Cefazolin( both are penicillin ).That’s why the packaging was different. I was curious when you taking about getting the shot on your butt. When you said that it hurt like crazy, I knew that it was Cefazolin. No other antibiotic hurts when given IM like that one does. I’m a nurse, and I’ve received it once as well. And yeah, it hurts like a MF.
Bro, had i not known you had the transplant done, i would have ever guessed. The hairline is fine, ignore the negative comments, it frames your face just fine. Thanks for your transparency. Be blessed brother!
Sounds like you had a horrible experience! Thank you for sharing. This was the most informative, real video I’ve seen on hair transplant clinics in Turkey.
Very chaotic experience, Im booked in AT for next month however Im prepared for the worse… I know exactly what i want no matter how much they try to upsell, you won’t get into my pockets! Thank you for this🙏🏾 Update: I went to Asli and had an overall great experience! So when people say experiences may vary it’s absolutely true! Big up to Rio for holding it down though💪🏾
Bro, please be sure to say the following to them: “do not overharvest my right donor” ; “Be careful with doing the temples on my recipient and not cause cobblestones” and finally “don’t place the follicles too close in an amateur way causing irreparable “necrosis”. I hope you have a positive experience but Asli have messed up a lot of people’s lives including my own. Please stress to them the importance of taking care in this aspects. I mean like really really really push them
@@Zama1997 You should share photos or make a video on your experience as most people only see the positive experiences on TH-cam… however a lot of shaming are only in the comments. Appreciate the advice but show don’t tell
@@Cyrus09100 not everyone wants to be a youtuber or to put themselves on blast like that but I agree, I would’ve liked to have seen more balanced videos on TH-cam before going ahead with Asli. Luckily I only had a minor procedure as my receding wasn’t severe but they still messed it up and the majority of people I met having the procedure at the same time. You can tell by the dark color/black blood scarring, so look around for yourself when there. I’m not trying to discourage anyone or spread negativity for no reason, just sharing my honest experience which I feel compelled to do as I had only seen positives before. I can’t comment on other clinics but Asli is definitely a big risk
This was very informative. My one question is, did you have a written contract with everything broken down in it? The cost, how much it was to cost, how much you paid. I can’t imagine going to a foreign country where I don’t speak the language for a medical procedure and not have everything in writing. The internet has it where you can translate everything .
Yeah I agree they really do try hard to take your money, with the Ozone which I did it twice cost me $200 in total extra. I purchased the yearly package which was an additional $700. I times I had to put my foot down because they’re very persistent on abstracting more money for you, can’t blamed them is part of their job. Overall I don’t regret going to Asli Tarcan clinic in my opinion they’re the best. I paid $2,500 for my surgery including hotel, extra $900 with Ozone shots and yearly pills and shampoo package, round trip flight none stop was $1,600 with Turkish airline. My consultant was Kenan which he was simply honest and truthful about anything I asked him for. Like I said I had a good experience and I tell all my friends they should go there if needing a hair transplant.
Hey bro are you black? What type of hair do you have? I have very fine, soft and curly East African hair. Do you think they will be a problem? Also is there anything you would do different or any regrets? Thank you bro for help.
@@Getsumsimm was good, no I am Hispanic(Puerto Rican) and I have straight hair. They can do all types of hair trust me. Best advice I can give you is practice at home on how you want your hairline and temple to look like, because if you don’t tell them how you want to look they will draw what they feel is right for you. So speak up like I did and you’ll be fine. Also don’t take the hotel they offer in the package, breakfast is horrible same plate everyday and it was nasty. There’s a few of them that’s close to the clinic. Another advice will be to try and stay for at least 5-6 days over there so you can heal properly and take advantage of the staff in the clinic washing your head it’s free so why not.
Bosley gets bad mouthed for how pricey they are, but holy cow dude this sounded like a horror story. I think I paid 3x what you did at Bosley, but Im just glad they werent like this during my procedure. Thanks for sharing and hopefully others will take your story into consideration when deciding where they go
Brother thank you so much for sharing, the video was long and very intertaining, insiteful. You brought back some memories for me when I went to the clinic. I'm glad you pushed through it. Your results look amazing.
Damn I can’t believe what happened to you, the level of communication was really unprofessional, but it’s great to see that your results are looking good after only 4 months! I just had my procedure 11 days ago at another clinic in turkey, everything went really well I got 2700 grafts for my hairline and temples, good luck with the rest of your journey!
@@Qliphirot Its probably because of the relatively cheap price compared to other countries, but im gonna assume that other countries like USA and UK have more professionalism in their craft and better communication
Thanks for sharing your experience. It sounds horrendous and I liked how you qualified it by saying other people may have had better experiences somewhere else so you’re not condemning the entire country you’re just talking honestly about your experience and I really appreciate it and it teaches me that, even though it cost more in the United States, that’s a place where I would prefer to have this done in order to avoid all of the language barrier issues that may arise thank you for sharing this very important topic. I’m so sorry you went through that nightmare.
You are a captivating great story teller and thank you for sharing what you went through to achieve your goal. I am happy for you for the final result and hopefully your donor side will look great eventually. As much as I wish to put a stopping on my receding hair, I decided to embrace my baldness and enjoy life while remembering in fond memory my old pictures with a head full hair. All the best brother!
Thank you for this information, am also considering going to Turkey for hair transplant but now I keep on hearing discouraging issues. Can somebody please recommend the best Dr for hair transplant in Turkey, thank you!
Forget the transplant, this was an EXTREMELY entertaining story/experience my bad you had to go through all this, but that clinic is pretty much fucked! 😅
If you have never been to that part of the country and are not clear on the culture of practices, I can see how this can happen. The driving and unclear communication especially can happen but the last thing they would want to happen is something to an American and the schooling is normally stellar. This is a frustrating experience. Im glad the results came out great. Also bank machines and credit cards are always taken and the safest way to pay for anything because you can always dispute a charge.
I’m sorry you didn’t have the best overall experience, but I must say that as of this video, your results are awesome! They did a great job and I hope you’re happy. Thx for sharing.
Rio do you still use min and fin to keep your growth going? I'm getting mine done here in the states in december and I just started the topicals to get going. But in two days it's given me major heart palpitations so I'm not going to continue to use. I'm also a little discouraged as I know I need both to get results plus the transplant. Not sure what my next steps are but I'm curious to know if you use the duo and have you had any side effects? Also can a transplant be done without the steroids and get results? Thanks for sharing your journey as well.
Try using minox once daily before bed, you don’t have to do it twice daily if you keep it on while you sleep and wash it off in the morning. This should lessen or prevent side effects from minox. Also include microneedling once weekly. Compare what you started with to results after 6 months to a year. If you want more after that then you can stack finasteride as well. Its a long process and its slow, I wouldn’t recommend transplant without medical therapy because if you continue to recede and thin on the hairline and crown then you will only have the transplanted hairs and that will make you look really weird.
I dont recommend starting finasteride and minoxidil at the same time because then you won’t know which drug is causing side effects for you. Try one for 6 months to a year before adding on the other one. It all depends on how well you respond to the drugs.
If you want to do transplant with no medical therapy you will probably have to do many transplants over the years to cover up further recession and thinning. Transplant without medical therapy is like getting surgery on a ligament or muscle and then not going through physical therapy, it just won’t work or it will lead to complications.
And minoxidil and finasteride are not steroids. Minoxidil doesn’t affect your hormones. Finasteride does affect your hormones, finasteride makes it so less of your testosterone gets converted to dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone binds to the hair follicle and shrinks it causing hair to fall out, but it also causes hair on your face to grow.
Can't thank you enough for taking the time to answer and thoroughly! You a real one bro. So I'm going to ziering in l.a. Chose the expensive route for my first one just to be on the safe side in case I have problems. Piece of mind. And I'm gonna take your advice doing one at a time trial and error. They also told me the stem cell injections once a year will help much more than min and fin and show greater results as an alternative. So I'm doing that as well. Like I said before thank you for sharing your journey as this is a life altering event for some of us men. You and others are an inspiration. Following all these black hair journeys solidified my decision and I know ill be back by next summer. Blessings and crispy hairlines bro. 🙏🏾
Hi Rio. Great video and great information. The density looks incredible, looking forward to see the result in about 6 - 7 and at 12 month post op. The blood test you are referring to is an HIV test and is mandatory. Taking out blood for PRP is something completely different. In Turkey they doing things their own way. A deal is just a deal in the moment, but later it is forgot. My experiences with Turkey is exactly as you discribe it. So annoying... I hope and truly believe the result is gonna be fantastic for you.👍💪💯
Damn I thought you and dude were friends. But thats usually how it goes. Never really know how some people are behind the scenes. Respect the way you went about explaining the situation. Made sure it wasnt bitter or malicious. Just straight forward and honest.
I went through the same hell getting my transplant done in turkey, they try extort money from you constantly, it's never ending, and before I went there I asked him if there's extra charges but he lied.
I am watching you because you have the ability to make watching paint dry sound interesting. Honestly I am enjoying this, and the teeth one which was what brought me here. Look you are a really good bloke, you have a gentle kind of spirit thats rare these days. ❤❤ 😊
Hey Rio thanks for sharing your experience, and sorry for the bad things that happened to you, just remember is a different world. I travel to Turkey last September for three weeks to the Northern city of Trabzon just for leisure and business and exactly that's what Turkish looks and behave as you describe. But I found out that's their lifestyle and is just normal to them. After I while I just use to them and in general, they're good people. I will do the same hair transparency as you did, but of cause from the different clinic, and when I choose a place to work with I go with at least 75% with a good review. Your results turned up very good though but because of your review, I will choose another clinic for sure. I'm going there in march to do my hair work. Thanks for the great videos.
I just got my hair transplant in Turkey 2 days ago but I will say this for you future readers. No matter where you go most Turkish people will always and I mean always hussle you if they don't have a price shown. Learn this because my wife learned from experience from traveling all over the world and started to teach me these things (love her for being such a Viking) when you land in the airport if there is a shuttle take it over the taxi it's cheaper. When they give you a price for the shuttle you can 100% negotiate it down and you have to be firm and mean it so they know you mean business. They wanted 60 Euros for the ride my girl got it for 20 so 10 each Euros. In the shuttle you split it with others which is better and you still get taken to your destination. The normal yellow taxi cabs have set prices but then there are private ones and they will try to make you pay a lot you can negotiate with them for a price you feel like is good for you but never AND I MEAN EVER take the first price. The first guy that approached is was a private Taxi he wanted 80$ to go to the hotel by the click which is like a 35-40min and we said 30$ he met us at 35$ but we didn't take him since we went with the shuttle which was cheaper. As for the hair transplant it's only my 3rd day and the place I went to that was recommended by a friend is called Anatomica. They for some reason speak Spanish as their 2nd language.
Thank you Río for posting this. Wow this story is juicy! I have been following a lot of Asli tarcan clients. And when I started my research my top priority was communication. I choose Este Capelli for the communication and full honesty. I didn't have to pay a reservation fee, stayed in Turkey for 2 weeks and the service was perfect. In all that time the translator/medical advisor was there during the process and after each transfer. I believe the clinic I went to is more boutique style and therefore operate with a smaller team. Despite what you went through your Hair looks great.I think Asli Tarcan uses a call centre to hook in customers needless to say I doubt you spoke with one of the owners in arranging the price. The PRP session was part of the package did you end up paying for that separately as well?
@@Moonchaser8 how long ago did you have your transplant and are you happy with the results. I am doing research as I am planing on going through it as well.
@@ngabosonga7025 I went 17 October 2021, up till now everything is going the right way. Hair on transplanted area is starting to show gradually. Hair quality is thin still but I can definitely see improvement. So in the course of 3,75 months I would say its all good. My donor area restored fast but occasionally I get a bumb or 2 here and there.
@@Moonchaser8 thank you very much for the info. May I ask at which clinic you went to and also hoe much you paid and the number of grafts you got if it’s not to personal?
You are lucky to be alive. This is a lesson to get these type of procedures done in the U.S.. I hope you went to your primary care doctor when you arrived back to the U.S. I have male friends and female friends that have gotten hair transplants and they did it in the U.S. Sometimes it is worth paying the extra money for safety. Same goes for dental work.
22 hundred USD!? Wow I’ve spent more on a couple day bender and I’m a broke ass…that’s incredible I’m sorry for your experience but I’m also uplifted by the idea of a reasonable hair restoration price…Fvck the food feed me snake meat if I can get my hairline back at that price I’m in!!
I may of missed if you said so but what airline did you use and how many stops was it or was it a nonstop flight and from where if you don’t mind me asking? Thank you!

This right here should warn everyone about NOT going with a company where the communication is below standards. And always follow your GUT FEELINGS!
For sure!!
True, thus was my deciding factor
This is a weird experience. I felt uncomfortable on his behalf
I don't know man, even though he had to endure all that BS - his hairline went from a 40 yr old to mid 20s, 4500 USD, for flight + hotel + room service + dental work + 3000 grafts (FUE) + PRP + SMP + antibiotics (weren't effective enough), but at that price - I think they still did right by him
Rio got the older FUT type done in 2015 in the USA for 6500 USD for 1500 grafts, I think the American clinic did him dirty, more than the clinic in Turkey which might be why he was so distrustful the second time around
So I don't know how I feel about this, if a grocery store was farther away, and the people there didn't speak any English and always gave me the side eye but always charged a fair price, vs a local store that were friendlier but charged 3x the amount...

Your choice of hairline looks very appropriate. It looks pretty good. I'm glad that it worked out for you. That's probably a $22,000 procedure in the US.
I went to Aisha Hair Turkey and they were the best decision ever I did 2 year research before going to a hair clinic in Turkey.
Sorry to hear about your experience. You are going to help a lot of brothers. Appreciate you sharing your Experience for others to learn from!🙏🏽
Good grief .. you’re a treasure man . I’m thankful for the info .that sounds like a nightmare of an experience.
Man looks amazing! I swear African American hair looks so natural with a transplant, great job!
Many thanks to the Elexus team!
do you have afro hair?
What type of hair do you have?
He said you had a fat chest ?
Yo that Fred guy done the same thing to me, I was getting Ozone done also, he was just lurking around, flicked my stomach, he say trying to get to get work done, was trying to sell me a six pack, I nearly lost it. It took all I got in me not to smack him
Lmao Fred 🤣
Lol Fred out here violating 🤣🤣
Fuckin Fred smh! He strikes yet again!

I couldn’t do it, but hats off for going through with the process. Very informative video
After going to AT for my transplant, I can definitely attest to some of these scenarios. I didn’t have a bad experience, but I can vouch that your testimony may be accurate.
The procedure looks phenomenal brother!
for four months that is an excellent result, it takes up to a year for full growth, but it looks great as is!

@@iammichaelstarks yea I’ve just been uploading old videos. Coming up on three weeks post tomorrow 👊🏿
It’s not a first time I am hearing about Asli Tarzan’s clinic! Thank you brother for your feedback!
Soon I will be going to turkey for my hair transplant!
which clinic is bestest in Istambol ??
Great video! I’m excited to see how your hair looks like when you taper it. Did they mention anything about the scaring in the doner area? I know it’s small circles, but do they disappear? Or is it small circular scars? No one ever talks about the aftermath. Like what if you wanted to fade your hair in the area where they took follicles.
Wow what a story. I went to HOI and everything was so professional.
Was thinking of getting a hair transplant but I just watched this… so I just shaved my head .. I’m gonna rock the baldy
Bro that’s what I’m sayin…this whole experience is so not worth it. His results are good but not worth the stress and anxiety of all this shit.

Thank you for the honest review, Bro! Great job #Respect
I just glad you’re healing well thank God but question fo you have to repeat the procedure and how often ?
Help this person out please. 🙏🏾
Where u get it done n how much
Where and how much?
Why did you have to do it twice?
@@Igorsov To add more fullness. The Doc does not over-harvest. The 1800 number makes the best use of the hairs he extracts since most will survive the transplant.
If I did 3600 at the first surgery maybe half to 60% will survive. You are wasting so many hairs from the donor area when surgeons do this(overharvesting).
Who is the doctor?
God bless your curly hair, it covers a lot more than straight hair

Hey man not sure if you’ll see this but I know a bit about medicine and injections.
First they typically do give antibiotics to you regardless if you have an infection after surgery to prevent an infection from occurring.
Second the injection you felt the first time was due to the nurse hitting your nerve in your butt. You’re supposed to inject in the top outer corner of the glute but sometimes you can hit the sciatic nerve. This sends a burning and numbing feeling down the back of your leg, has nothing to do with the medicine. It’s not permanent it’s just happens sometimes. Sometimes you’ll feel a bit weird for a month actually
I guess in turkey it’s just their standard to do intramuscular injections in the glute, but it can actually be done sometimes in the shoulder or leg.
If you’re ever in the situation again one trick you can do is flex your glute a bit when they stick the needle in but not when they’re injecting,it stiffens the muscle for the needle to go in easier and pushes the nerve away from the injection area
I’m not huge in international medicine but when I did research in overseas cosmetic or elective surgeries I found that it’s much safer and better to go to a hospital versus a clinic. It’s not as cheap but it’s still cheaper than US and it’s going to give you the same quality/care as a US hospital as they’re usually board certified, internationally regulated and sometimes doctors are US trained or accredited.
This is why I went with H.O.I finally.
No regret about this decision.

Yea that Fred guy is something else but I was there in June and yes everything you mention about them being money hungry and doesn't communicate well are on point.
I am now seeing your hair and it looks great. You don’t want a lower hairline. It is perfect the way it is and it looks perfect on you. Good job.
this is why, if you have the extra cash.

This was very informative. My one question is, did you have a written contract with everything broken down in it? The cost, how much it was to cost, how much you paid. I can’t imagine going to a foreign country where I don’t speak the language for a medical procedure and not have everything in writing. The internet has it where you can translate everything
.

You went through a lot, but it looks good. They ultimately did a real nice job. Hair line looks perfect. Thanks for the vid.
I hope and truly believe the result is gonna be fantastic for you.👍💪💯
I'm half way through at this point, and my anxiety is UP listening to this. I'm so sorry you dealt with all this.
Damn I thought you and dude were friends. But thats usually how it goes. Never really know how some people are behind the scenes.
Respect the way you went about explaining the situation. Made sure it wasnt bitter or malicious. Just straight forward and honest.
Who’s the dude? I want the juice lol

Great video, you make think twice to pick up the better choice. Thanks for all the information you provide it.
I went through the same hell getting my transplant done in turkey, they try extort money from you constantly, it's never ending, and before I went there I asked him if there's extra charges but he lied.
Why do you guys choose Turkey?

Omo Iya, sorry about what you went through? But, how's the result now, though?
@@tundelouis9282 I just had about a month and half ago, I'm still waiting to be totally healed, I think the hair starts growing after 3months.
I am watching you because you have the ability to make watching paint dry sound interesting. Honestly I am enjoying this, and the teeth one which was what brought me here. Look you are a really good bloke, you have a gentle kind of spirit thats rare these days. ❤❤ 😊
After watching taken, i wudda went there with someone. I was thinking this since the first video.
Thanks for the info. How much for the whole procedure? Thank you
Watch the entire video and you will have your answer. I speak about price in the video. 😊
Just make sure you get your consultation and quote for the surgical work in writing that you can print out. Not just notes and WhatsApp chat.
Your hairline is good bro. Had a big forehead my whole life too. Is it possible to grow braids with the hair or is it capped at a certain length?
This is common everywhere even in America people will always try to monetarily take advantage of other people foreigner or not
Thank you Río for posting this.
@Kana Television I paid 2450 including a stay for 10 days. In between I went to Cappadocia. Wich I highly recommend. I had 2770 grafts

Thank you!
