But being a a half Turk myself, I can tell you all that a lot of what we saw can in some ways be applied to the people and culture of Turkey. I’m not saying this in a negative way. Just that in general, the people and way things are done over there will be a lot different to clinics in the UK and US. Your video showed that it is good to stand up for what you want and state when you aren’t happy when things aren’t being fulfilled. It’s not moaning. It’s just being honest and straight. If I ever get a hair transplant I would want to try and do one with a doctor who's a member or fellow of the International Society for Hair Restoration (a global non-profit medical association and the leading authority on hair loss treatment and restoration) and is involved in almost all of the process, not just a consultation. It may ultimately cost more money compared to these other clinics, but it's worth the extra money for that peace of mind and transparency. They should care about you and know what's right for you, not just be after your money. I would never go to Istanbul as it's too far away but for those who want to go there, there's currently 10 doctors with ISHR membership (another apparently highly regarded doctor, Koray Erdogan, was a member but left in 2015 on his own accord). Fortunately there's an ISHR fellow in my state, Dr. Marco Barusco, so maybe I'll get a consultation with him one day.
Hey Rio, great video. I was planning on doing.mine in Turkey but with Longevita instead. They've just informed me that my hair type is not suitable for the procedure. Apparently it's too curly..
