I worked as a flight attendant for 40 years and you make a lot of sense. Thank you for tips I never thought of. You are brilliant!

If you wear wide leg trousers, try putting a large hair band on your ankles and then when you go to use the facilities just tuck the pant legs into the hair band. Ankle socks can work the same way for tucking pant legs into.

I'm travelling internationally for the first time in less than a month, and this video has been such an amazing help. I'm completely clueless and a little scared, but I'll definitely be taking these tips on board!

I was so planning to wear my wide leg linen trousers but you're so right. Glad I came across your video. Thank you. :)

100% if you anticipate using public restrooms avoid jumpsuits or wide legs🤢

Trouble with a banded ankle is that it can be bad for circulation

There was one fashion blogger who suggested wearing a spandex jumpsuit to wear on a plane and I thought how STUPID!!! We aren't preparing for a Red Carpet appearance here.

@@josephinecronin1195 straight leg or loosely banded works fine without being to tight around ankle.

I learned this tip 25 yrs ago from a former cruise director. It has never failed me--- a few pieces of BUBBLE WRAP and a small spool of DUCT TAPE. Bubble wrap to wrap that unexpected souvenir that you claimed you weren't going to buy. The tape to tape your suitcase zipper when it unexpectedly breaks. Also, write your destination on the luggage tag. Why would you want your luggage sent back to the originating airport? Also, take photos of your luggage in case of the worse case scenario and you have to file a claim.

Look into a sleeping bag liner it will help you stay warm. It's compact as well.

Another item I will definitely carry along with me is toilet paper. While waiting for our flight in a major Caribbean city airport, I was shocked there was no TP in the ladies room and the attendants had none to offer.

I would like to ask that if you do choose to take wipes, sanitizer, lotion, sprays, or other personal care items, PLEASE consider unscented versions. I know you don't feel perfectly fresh, but your scented products could make for a very uncomfortable flight for asthmatics and scent-sensitive people around you. Nothing is quite like sitting near someone who used a scented lotion and having a migraine the entire flight as a result. :(

Great video! Here is a tip if you forget to bring antibacterial wipes but have hand sanitizer. Squirt some hand sanitizer onto a tissue and wipe the tray table etc. with that. Just to note that airline blankets and pillows are not sanitized regularly. As a woman I take a linen shawl/scarf and use it as a blanket on the plane or for more warmth since I tend to freeze on planes, you then have it to spruce up your outfits while on vacation. It also can be rolled up to use as a makeshift pillow. Also, make a packing list, I go so far as to list particular pieces of clothing I want to pack. We do most of our international travel in spring and fall so I tend to take mostly black, grey and blue so everything matches everything else.

Before I go through security I take off my belt, take out my liquids bag and electronics and put it in a fold up reusable bag before I enter the queue then I’m not getting in peoples way whilst I’m getting my stuff together and then I also have a bag to take with me

Such a great video! It was definitely packed with a lot of useful information. Thank you! ❤️
Maybe it’s because I’m from northern Sweden near the Arctic Circle, but I never freeze in planes. My problem is instead pain. Lots of pain. Pain all the time. I have a disease called lipedema that is very painful for my legs. It also causes lymphedema in my legs. Even though I have compression stocknings especially made for my legs on all the time, it hurts for every second of the flight.
I definitely need to to sit with my legs straight out, like in a recliner. But I can’t afford that. So every flight is a painful nightmare with tears in my eyes and I never manage to sleep because of that. I wish there were discounts for us that have a medical conditions, so we could travel in a recliner or in a cubicle.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds excruciating. I agree with you that you should be able to get discounts for flights. Fingers crossed one day this will be the case. Sending lots of love 🧡

The amount of forums that say tracksuits look tacky & to never wear tracksuits on a plane is crazy. Looks sooooo comfy to me. I normally wear jeans & i regret it every time 😢. My poor tushy & hips.

The bra you wear absolutely matters sometimes if there is nothing on you that would obviously set off a metal detector it can be the underwire in your bra
