White, beige and solid light colors. All wonderful. Until a bumpy flight causes something to be spilled by the flight attendant or a fellow passenger. It has happened to me and I now only travel in dark colors.
Good Morning Annie:-) I've just subscribed from London. I like the ideas for the travel outfits. I went to Barbados last year, and I wore a burgundy sweater jumpsuit on the way to Barbados. I felt really comfortable. What I also did was to put my winter fedora over my summer fedora to enable me to take the winter fedora off the summer one when I got to Barbados. I even used the 54321 technique for my holiday wardrobe: 5 tops, 4 bottoms, 3 layering pieces, 2 pairs of shoes, and 1 special outfit, along with swimwear, sleepwear and underwear. That really worked and stopped me overpacking.
I'm driving to Atlanta today for the Georgia Romance Writers Moonlight and Magnolias conference and then driving to St Pete Beach on Nov 1 for my 60th birthday. I'm in the SC Lowcountry. Anywho, all these outfits would work for a long car ride too. Thanks for the tips. I do need ideas for St Pete, it's a more casual vibe resort.
Like your video - energetic & plenty of practical & great ideas except for one - the jumpsuit 😂. Keep up your great work. Just subscribed. Looking forward to your next video. ❤
The sweater blazer. I needed a warm travel outwear for my recent flight to Hawaii and I don't take black clothing. From the NW we may be leaving cold temps( and returning to ice!) when we take our winter vacation.I bought the camel sweater. I wore good jeans, white sleeveless turtleneck, navy cardigan(extra warmth layer) and a blue/white/tan sarong that I wrapped as a big scarf. Uggs for airport /plane walking comfort. Cute sandals in my personal bag I and swapped them for the sweaters upon arrival so when our car dropped us at the front of the Royal Hawaiian I wasn't steamy hot. Thank you so much for a really good, reasonably priced piece that was a winner!
My travel outfits tend to be classic, comfortable, and layered. I choose pants with an elastic waist, a straight leg, a slightly loose fit, and enough leg that they break at my shoes. I usually choose black or navy. My tops, depending on the weather I'm leaving or arriving in will be a mock neck, a square neck, or a crew neck in the same fabric as the pants. I have several different styles of sweaters which I can choose from which are close to the body without being tight. Finally, I sling an overly large scarf/shawl in a bright color or pattern and a pair of black slides. My bag is either a black or, depending on the scarf, a classic British Saddle Brown. (The shoes tend to go with the bag).
Thank you so much! I love color so thank you for including that hot pink blouse and giving us so many options!! We are off to Bali and Singapore next week - so super long international flights!
@@marciaoliveira2852 oooo fun!! You’ll enjoy it - there’s a LOT to see, and pavement tends to be uneven so you’ll definitely want comfy shoes for daytime 💕. Enjoy it!!
Hi Annie, I just found you and loved watching your channel. These are great outfits for travel but I do wish you would model them for us to see all of the pieces together. Ty for the lovely content.
Thank you for the feedback Mary! I will make it a point to increase the real-time modeling for style videos. I agree with you - it’s probably more fun to see in person 😊
Beautiful outfits. BUT . . . White or Ivory on a plane? Too many previous spills and peoples dirt and ick. I wouldn’t risk it. And no way a jump suit because of nasty airline bathrooms. You want nothing touching that awful floor. So, no jumpsuits or maxi dresses!!
I do 80 percent of my shopping at the thrift store..People are always asking me where I got such nice clothes. It's really all about how you style things. lol
Florida! Half the week at Ritz Carlton, Tiburon and the other half at Ritz Carlton, Naples. This is my first time at a 5-start property and your videos have alleviated a lot of my worries.
Hello, I really enjoyed your video. I travel a good bit every year and I'm always on the lookout for some great travel outfits and I really like your style.
Hi! I just found your channel this morning! Thank your for the great travel tip outfit ideas. We are headed from Pennsylvania to Seattle later this month. I actually just ordered the Banana Republic joggers that you featured! I also looked at the J. Crew jacket sweater and am considering ordering that as well! I am looking forward to more of your videos! ❤
Hi Lisa - welcome to the community! I'm so happy that you found some fun items. Seattle is my hometown and it is beautiful this time of year. The joggers will be perfect because people are casual but pulled together (and super nice). Enjoy your trip to the NW - we're happy to have you onboard ;-) - Shelli
I will sometimes wear ivory or white when we fly to Vegas in the summer, and I feel like it. For us it’s a 45-min direct flight. That being said, it should go without saying that the outfits are concepts, to which you can choose the colors that work best for you, as an individual.
Loved your video it is so needed. These outfits are perfect for me. Not necessarily for traveling, but also just to have a few ideas for running errands. Thank you
Just came across your video and just love you are! Chic, comfy and pockets are my go to’s when traveling and the brands you featured are my usuals. Just had to subscribe!
Great job for most of the recommendations but Hmm ivory for a long haul flight is a recipe for disaster for me. Turbulance and coffee or wine, Yikes. Even in business class. We just got back from Australia to Canada. Next trip northern Italy. Also slides are not a good option to walk miles in an airport.
Welcome to the community Angela! I’m so happy to have you onboard! Yes - I can definitely do a piece on casual everyday - I will put that into the queue😇
Heya! Gal from Germany here! Love the outfits! I'm going to visit family in South Africa next week. I am sticking to dark colors, as I just KNOW I am going to mess something on myself 👀
Just found your video! Love your spirit. I also love that jumpsuit from Spanx! I also bought the wide leg sweats with the matching black sweatshirt for a trip I’m taking in November!! ❤it’s a bit more travel friendly for those who don’t want to wear a jumpsuit on a plane..
I loved the joggers, but the maxi dress at the end was fantastic! Would love styling for resort wear along with capsule packing. I am awful about over packing and then having to pay extra for checked bag! 😩 I get overwhelmed and then over pack! Thank you for sharing!
Lol - the overpacking is SO ME, also ;-) I do have (2) resort wear videos (they're geared for warm weather) AND a "How I packed for London" video that I think will help greatly with looking cute but not overpacking. Fabulous! I found your channel, watched this video and immediately subscribed. I don't have travel plans this summer - yet!! But I am now ready to fly when the opportunity arises. Sending warm regards from England!
Welcome Debra! I appreciate having you onboard the community! We will be in London / Bath this summer - my husband Oliver is British so I love England🥰💕💕 Hello from California! 😊✌️
So glad I found your site. You have taught me to shop from my closet, first. I have a trip coming up and feel I was almost packed in my mind after seeing your video.
Oh good - that makes me so happy to hear, Kelly! I agree, sometimes it’s just a matter of mixing & matching what we have differently, for a wardrobe refresh 😉
Hi Eve! Yes - that is a fabulous idea. I'm 5"2 and always looking for chic petite finds, so I will put this on my upcoming topic list. And WELCOME to the community ;-) Love having you onboard.
I just got back from Cabo, and wish I had watched this video! I am obsessed with travel fashion, I love people watching in the airport. Have you done a pack with me video?
How was Cabo? We go there every so often & stay at the Palmilla💕. I HAVE done a pack w me video but it was a year ago soooo……I think it’s time for another - thank you for the suggestion!
It was an all inclusive for my husband’s work 😝 but we did pop up to Todos Santos and went to lunch at the Oysteria, it was one of the most dreamy places I have ever been. Highly recommend it!
I don't know if you will see this!! Love your videos and your SPARK!! We are cruising ( but staying at each end of the cruise for a few days ) in Oct. Cruise goes from Athens-Amalfi coast-ends in Rome. I would like to wear my khaki trench coat with my black travel outfit. Then continue to use it as my layering/outerwear piece on cooler days and nights. What do you think?
Hi Debra! Yes - absolutely the khaki trench as your layering piece. It’s a classic neutral that will work seamlessly with anything you wear 😉 Welcome to the community & enjoy your trip - that sounds SO Amazing! I’m excited for you 🥰🤗🤗- Shelli
@@AnnieParkerConfidential Thank you for your reply Shelli! OK- I feel much more confident in my choice now! I want to wear my white leather tennis shoes with it so I don't have to pack them. Hope that will look OK too.😘
I know, right?! And I’m a plus size so totally appreciate the inclusive sizing. It doesn’t stop me if it’s not, I just go on the hunt for similar, but it’s nice and easy if it’s included.
@@MimiH1959 Oh good - I always look for inclusive sizing. At 5'2, I'm flabbergasted that women's clothing is STILL geared towards women over 5"9 but UNDER 100lbs (I'm being dramatic, but you get my point ;-/
thank you beautiful lady ;-). I've actually got a skin video in the works...but the short story is that I cut out most all processed foods, and eat plant-based vegan with some fish/seafood. That's really helped@
In July we will be going to Rome, take a cruise ti the Greek Islands and Turkey, and on our return stay a few days in Athens and fly to Madrid for a few more days. Excited because I haven’t been to Greece or Turkey ( dying to check out the Turkish Bazaar)❤
I just wanted to mention, I love that Spanx jumpsuit; I was able to order it in that green/olive color and am thankful for that. I am unable to find it ANYWHERE in black and/or fawn in a size M. Do you have a suggestion as to another great substitute, or do you think their newest style would be good? I think their newest style is a little more form fitting whereas the one you show here has that little looseness in the top. Thanks again.
Yes - the newer is form fitting. You're right -the black & fawn aren't available in size M. I have a couple suggestions, along with a look-alike that I found (on Amazon, so easy returns if it doesn't work): 1. I found black in Large, which you can always alter if you REALLY LOVE it: soleamour.com/product/sp-airessentials-jumpsuit/ 2. I found a LOOK-ALIKE ($33) in tons of sizes & colors, including black. I have NOT seen nor tried it in person (fyi): rstyle.me/+xXC__2GbsUJF7WTdmYhALQ 3. In the interim - I'd recommend putting your name on their WAITLIST, for the colors & size that you want. This way you've got all bases covered. The jumpsuit Sold Out so quickly - there's NO WAY they won't re-stock ;-)
Okay. Thanks. I did order one from Amazon, but that was my mistake; the quality wasn't there. I didn't choose wisely. I am kind of newer on ordering on Amazon or other sites. It was from far away, and it would have cost more to ship it back. I have donated it. Didn't like the quality of the material. I am checking out the sites you suggest as well - and Athleta. Thanks again, Linda@@AnnieParkerConfidential
I've been "shopping" for my upcoming Britain trip this May. LOVE the tips! I like the Tumi bag, but I have a tactile senory issue, can't stand to touch nylon. It would be great if it came in canvas or leather!
So cool! This will be a mother son trip, I asked where he'd want to go and he immediately said England! We're going to Edinburgh, then London, the Belfast @@AnnieParkerConfidential
Hi Norette - Microfiber traps heat, more easily than cotton and is better suited for colder days. I think you're going to be uncomfortable in 70+ degree weather if you wear microfibers. Cotton & Linen are best BUT, I know they wrinkle easily. Think about a cotton blend, in lighter colors - and a print (which won't show wrinkles as easily). Conversely - you CAN probably get away with a microfiber IF it's a light color (won't absorb heat as easily) AND it's a floaty style like a chic maxi sundress, that floats away from the body. Hope this helps - enjoy your trip, it sounds like so much fun! xoxo - Shelli

Not me feeling like a celebrity after the shout out 😎😍 Thank you for the video very informative, I've managed to convince my sister's that we do a luxury travel instead of our usual basic vacation 💜we're off to Bangkok than koh Samui in Thailand 💕 I'm definitely flying out in look 4,it is definitely my taste and I was wondering since we have a connecting flight in Singapore, I'm thinking changing into a maxi dress and arrive In Thailand looking amazing, my question is, is it a good idea to change outfits in between flight? It's a 16 or 18hour flight from south Africa to Thailand that's why I'm asking. 😊 Thanks💜
Hi Pearl! I’m in FULL support of a sisters luxury vacay - I’m an enabler 😉My thought on the outfit change, is that if you’ve got enough time to easily change - then it’s a great idea! You’ll feel nice and fresh, plus look amazing - obvi 🥰 thumbs up xoxo

I just discovered you today, and I'm loving your channel and content. Thank you! My husband and I are planning a trip to Paris for 2026, and we plan to work toward 1st class. Would love to hear your favorite airlines for 1st class to Paris. This will be a once-in-a-lifetime thing. Would also love to hear any tips for how to dress my man for comfort and style on the flight! :)
Hi Linda - welcome to the community! What an exciting trip to plan ;-) 2 BEST AIRLINES to PARIS (IMO) - as well as the Worst: 1. DELTA is my favorite US-Paris airline, both in terms of seat comfort, cleanliness, food quality & offerings, luxury amenities (their toiletry bag is nicely stocked) AND the flight crew, which have always been lovely, lovely, lovely. 2. UNITED is another top pick. Extremely helpful crew, lots of direct flight options, comfortable seats, great in-flight entertainment selection, nice food selection. The WORST, ironically is AIR FRANCE. I flew them with my sister once, and that will be the last time. Although they DO have a plethora of direct flight options, and word has it that the overall quality has improved - I'm not ready to spend thousands just to "try them again" when there are other options. In a nutshell, the biz class cabin was dirty, empty water bottles at my seat from previous flight, anemic toiletry bag, old uncomfortable seating, cheap linens & blankets, hands down the poorest biz class food ever. Air France STAFF, candidly could not have been more dismissive or more rude, if they tried. Food trays sat uncleaned despite several attempts to flag down a FA, no response to call buttons...... Need I say more? *HUSBAND COMFORT & style ;-) I hear ya....Oliver is fussy as a 2-year old when it comes to comfort. To London last year, he wore the Icon Pant from CUTS (here is the link, for your reference: rstyle.me/+BnM7o36ViP65gB4c3CwiAA ) It LOOKS like a sleek pant, but it's extremely soft, stretchy and comfortable. He said they feel like sweats, without LOOKING like sweats. 10-hour flight, no problem. He Wore with a Polo shirt, and their Legacy Bomber Jacket: rstyle.me/+TEu1REsEa2WvUQCGJNIkrg Hope this helps ;-). Enjoy planning the trip - I'm excited for you! xoxo - Shelli
@@AnnieParkerConfidential Thank you so much for your thorough response. I think we will likely lean toward Delta. That's so disappointing about Air France. I love your recommendation for the hubby's attire. (And they're having a 25% off sale!) I appreciate your time. :)
I agree that Delta is my #1 choice and United is a close runner-up; however, I find Air France to be right up there with them. On one Air France trip, the minute we took off I started feeling 'punky' and spent the entire trip curled up under a blanket. The flight attendants couldn't have been more gracious, supplying me with tea and soup and frequently inquiring about my needs/wants, etc. And on my daughter and SIL's honeymoon trip to Tahiti, Air France treated them royally. Granted, everyone can have a bad experience but I certainly wouldn't cross out Air France.
@@jking5907 that’s good to know about Air France. I think our experience was so poor, that (for me) there’s no reason to give it another chance when there are other airlines to choose from. That being said, if a situation arises where their flight options are the best for our schedule - I will remember your advice, and feel less nervous booking them 😊💕
I absolutely love your style! The only thing I have an issue with is open toe shoes on a plane..kinda icky to me! Would love to see closed toe options!
Hi Gloria - It's a marled knit sweater by VINCE (here's the link: rstyle.me/+ENRpUJAipyOf_oQnH1KWcw ) It's ON SALE for $87 from $345. The Navy is the proper sweater. The tan color they're showing is a different style No idea why they placed them on the same product page. I love this sweater ;-)
I need outfit ideas for taking my teens on college tours. Thank you for posting this. These are so much work to set up these tours/trips that I'm the last person that I put thought into but I know that are probably forming first impressions.
You are so welcome, Tanja! I have friends doing the college tour thing as well, so I understand the work level that goes into it ;-/. YOU deserve to look & feel amazing too ;-). I'm glad these helped! - Shelli
Hi Analissa - good question. Since it's getting cooler out - I love love LOVE the idea of a lightweight, relaxed cashmere sweater - like this one at Nordstrom: rstyle.me/+GbznYyLoNUzhoQzNxStNwQ It can be worn in a similar way as the blouse: Relaxed, loosely tucked OR a sloppy tuck. I wore something very similar on our trip to London a few months ago and it was perfect. Wrinkle free and looked just as chic after a 10-hr flight. Another option - the same STYLE of blouse, but in a wrinkle-free fabric like this button down from Cozy Earth (I like the black): rstyle.me/+FCG1ImEM4fIW-8Ivo2UDHg Option 3, a lightweight button-down Cardigan with relaxed fix will give you that overall look. LOVE this one - fittingly called the "Airport Cardi" rstyle.me/+rqNI1Dh5_Yxy6gSHgKZVsg I hope this is helpful ;-) xoxo - Shelli
My next flight will be 10 + hours long, and speaking from experience I know I need to ditch the jeans... It looks so tempting wearing a merino wool lounge set, and I know I could somehow style it to look better, but guess I worry I'll look slouchy. Especially when I reach the destination - tired, pale, messy hair, etc. Do women really wear these sets on long hauls? I just can't remember seeing anyone :-)
I actually do (on occasion) wear chic loungewear because it’s like traveling in pajamas except it’s polished. That being said, I make sure to wear higher quality so that it doesn’t sag and look unkempt (to your point)💕💕

Your outfit choices sound chic & perfect! Glad you enjoyed the video - I'm from the NW too (Seattle!)

Great ideas, I just need to be comfortable on flights but still feel put together.
Same! Thanks Amelia ;-)
Hello, I really enjoyed your video. I travel a good bit every year and I'm always on the lookout for some great travel outfits and I really like your style.
@@Solo.Female.Traveling thank you!
I’m off to Salzburg in Austria next weekend, I so enjoy planning my travel outfit and this video gave me added information, thank you so much
Thank you Kim! Austria sounds amazing - I’ve been wanting to go 😉💕
Looking forward to your resort styles post!
Thank you!
White pants to travel?! Do you have private jet?
I will sometimes wear ivory or white when we fly to Vegas in the summer, and I feel like it. For us it’s a 45-min direct flight. That being said, it should go without saying that the outfits are concepts, to which you can choose the colors that work best for you, as an individual.
Loved your video it is so needed. These outfits are perfect for me. Not necessarily for traveling, but also just to have a few ideas for running errands. Thank you
Yes exactly, Valerie! Travel, errands, bopping around on the weekend - all good ;-)
I have the Athleta pants and they are really great!
Oh good! Athleta does a nice job with their women’s line💕
Just came across your video and just love you are!
Chic, comfy and pockets are my go to’s when traveling and the brands you featured are my usuals. Just had to subscribe!
Welcome to the community, Mara! I love having you onboard 💕😉
Love your videos. ❤ will you do resort wear for this year? Including dresses and daytime outfits please
Thank you so much for your great styling tips😊
Yes Aline! Absolutely - sourcing outfits as we speak 🥰
Ivory - agree not for long haul. I was thinking more of a quick 1-2 hour, which I’ll do if we’re going to Vegas 💕
Wonderful outfit ideas
Thank you Stephanie!
Okay, I just binge watched loads of your videos. Love them all. Your happiness is so contagious! Could you do a video on casual outfits for every day?
Welcome to the community Angela! I’m so happy to have you onboard! Yes - I can definitely do a piece on casual everyday - I will put that into the queue😇
Heya! Gal from Germany here! Love the outfits! I'm going to visit family in South Africa next week. I am sticking to dark colors, as I just KNOW I am going to mess something on myself 👀

I loved the joggers, but the maxi dress at the end was fantastic! Would love styling for resort wear along with capsule packing. I am awful about over packing and then having to pay extra for checked bag! 😩 I get overwhelmed and then over pack! Thank you for sharing!

I have a couple suggestions, along with a look-alike that I found (on Amazon, so easy returns if it doesn't work):
1. I found black in Large, which you can always alter if you REALLY LOVE it: soleamour.com/product/sp-airessentials-jumpsuit/
2. I found a LOOK-ALIKE ($33) in tons of sizes & colors, including black. I have NOT seen nor tried it in person (fyi): rstyle.me/+xXC__2GbsUJF7WTdmYhALQ
Omg we’ll be in London this May also! 🤗💕
So cool! This will be a mother son trip, I asked where he'd want to go and he immediately said England! We're going to Edinburgh, then London, the Belfast

Hi Rachel! Welcome to the community - I’m happy to have you onboard 🤗
going to egypt and jordan in late nov early dec. i need breathable clothes. will micro fibers be too hot at 70s
Who would want to tackle a jumpsuit on a plane? It's enough trying to keep your pant hems out of anything on the floor!
Lol. Point taken. I usually choose the short 45-min flight to Vegas if I'm doing the jumpsuit.
Do some that gear to Petites. and not size 2!

Hey girl! Good to hear from you - missed you!
A jumpsuit on a plane?.
What an exciting trip to plan ;-) 2 BEST AIRLINES to PARIS (IMO) - as well as the Worst:
To London last year, he wore the Icon Pant from CUTS (here is the link, for your reference: rstyle.me/+BnM7o36ViP65gB4c3CwiAA )
It LOOKS like a sleek pant, but it's extremely soft, stretchy and comfortable. He said they feel like sweats, without LOOKING like sweats. 10-hour flight, no problem.
He Wore with a Polo shirt, and their Legacy Bomber Jacket: rstyle.me/+TEu1REsEa2WvUQCGJNIkrg
Hope this helps ;-). Enjoy planning the trip - I'm excited for you! xoxo - Shelli
@@AnnieParkerConfidential Thank you so much for your thorough response. I think we will likely lean toward Delta. That's so disappointing about Air France.
I love your recommendation for the hubby's attire. (And they're having a 25% off sale!)
I appreciate your time. :)
@@lyndabyrd530 my pleasure!
Lol - for sure
What sweater are you wearing in this video?
- Shelli
Wow! Thankyou..
My pleasure Coleen!
A must for me when travelling is to bring with me clothes that don't require ironing😂 also comfort and have a carry on always I dont like to over pack
wrinkle resistant for sure. I always overpack....I'm still workin' on that one ;-/
I like the chinos outfit but the shirt would wrinkle too much. Any suggestions?
Hi Analissa - good question. Since it's getting cooler out - I love love LOVE the idea of a lightweight, relaxed cashmere sweater - like this one at Nordstrom: rstyle.me/+GbznYyLoNUzhoQzNxStNwQ It can be worn in a similar way as the blouse: Relaxed, loosely tucked OR a sloppy tuck.
I wore something very similar on our trip to London a few months ago and it was perfect. Wrinkle free and looked just as chic after a 10-hr flight.
Another option - the same STYLE of blouse, but in a wrinkle-free fabric like this button down from Cozy Earth (I like the black): rstyle.me/+FCG1ImEM4fIW-8Ivo2UDHg
Option 3, a lightweight button-down Cardigan with relaxed fix will give you that overall look. LOVE this one - fittingly called the "Airport Cardi" rstyle.me/+rqNI1Dh5_Yxy6gSHgKZVsg
I hope this is helpful ;-) xoxo - Shelli

Hello I'm going to San Francisco November for a week
perfect time to go, IMO - cold and holiday-like! ;-)
