Tomb Raider I - III Remastered - Outfit Selector Guide

- Outfit Selector was added to Tomb Raider I - III Remastered within the 3rd patch and there a few ways to unlock the ability to use it.
Beating one of the titles, for example Tomb Raider 1 will unlock outfits from all three games in the collection for use in that particular game but won't for the other titles in the collection until you beat those. Cheats also do work to unlock outfit selector but may disable further achievement/trophy progress.

Let's be real here. You don't really need an incentive to already finish the 3 games since they already are great games! But outfit selection is a perfect bonus either way! lol
I'm replaying them to get the achievements I've missed but also I give Lara outfits I feel she could likely wear in those situations, like the bomber jacket in caves or the bloody classic after the T-Rex fight, isn't weird? Lol
Like I use the alternate outfits I feel would fit within a level.

I have been playing TR 1 since the Remaster came out. Still have to finish this. But i am playing each miasion without loosing health. When i lose a bit i restart. I never want to use a health kit in the first. This is my way i am learning the Tank Controls aswell and mastering them. Hell this game is so much fun.

I'm not talking nonsense I have shown how to use outfit selector as I genuinely saw some people confused by how it works and how to unlock it.

They need to make the game where the outfits and the sunglasses work for the original graphics as well
The originals are just that, as the originals were to preserve them. This was stated pre-launch the updates will be mainly to the remastered versions of the game

One point I'd like to add for the Expansions (Unfinished Business, Golden Mask & The Lost Artifact):
You don't need to beat each expansion to unlock the Outfit Selector for the expansion levels, you only need to beat its core game. For all intents and purposes, it's just treated as different levels within it's respective game.
What I haven't tested is whether beating Expansion first, before beating the core game, will unlock the Outfit selector.

@zelgadis115, I couldn't help myself and finished the beautiful Golden Mask levels before TR2. The outfit select is available neither in TR2 nor the Golden Mask. It seems beating the main game is the main prerequisite.

The outfit changes are great for keeping track of your different save states and bring variety to the gameplay for those who are trophy hunting. I must say though, playing the games I felt like there were more outfits than those that we have. Would have been nice if they introduced some bonus ones, for example AoD ones, Legend or even the reboot outfits (just outfits tho, don't change the model!).
Outfit selector is good enough for me. I see some people asking for a level selector, and even though I personally wouldn't use it, I can also see how it would be a really cool addition for those who want it.
Now I'm just hoping they do similar remasters for Last Revelation and Chronicles in the future. (And later a full remake of AoD, that game had potentital)
I love the outfit selector option
In short if you beat TR 1 you unlock outfits for TR 1 but not every other game in the trilogy however if you beat TR 2 You unlock outfits for TR2 And if you beat TR3 you unlock outfits for TR3.❤
I tried each game yesterday and I've unlocked the outfit selector on each 3 games.
In my opinion you should be able to unlock it once

All outfits that are in the game are available in outfit selector

The last secret "Gold Skull" is uncollectable due to the locked gate!
I heard that the concert room causes this issue because you should only press the buttons once.
That would be a good video because I would like your thoughts on it, and it would help others out.
@@DrThug05Wait what? I played the game multiple times since release and I never encounter this bug ? And I did press the buttons in music room a couple of times the first time I played it and I collected the gold skull with no issue . I don’t know, could it be caused by something else?

What i would like added list! 1. Nude option 2.bikinis 3.level select 4.cutscene viewer 5.color laras hair 6.color laras outfits 7.more cheats added example: moon jump 8.listen to in game music option 9.switch game sounds 10.a revised physical copy after updates are all finished 😊 11.breast physics 😀
A lot of those won't happen on retail copies. If you want some of those things than you will want to find PC mods and use those.

As far as features I really want the level select, and the "story so far" i used to love just sitting back and watching all the cutscenes without interruptions. Other than that please give us the rest of the photo mode poses please!!
PS. People complaining about having to unlock the outfit selector is wild to me, i though us retro gamers liked unlocking things as opposed to "downloading them" 😛 and these games are very enjoyable, I personally planned to complete them more than once.
Retro gamers don’t have a problem “downloading ” stuffs but rather stuffs being locked behind pay walls , like in some games outfits and weapons can only be bought through eshop, you can’t get them by beating the game or finishing certain tasks.
@Tombbistol well the phrase always goes "oh remember when we unlocked stuff by playing the game rather than having to buy it?" So why complain about having to finish the game to access outfits? Is it about rewarding the players or just about it being free? Lol
