i've wondered for a while why people use anything other than frags as a spammable on sorc. i get using the proc on it but I felt crazy thinking it was good enough as a spammable. thanks for proving it can be done!
It's a pretty good spammable. However, have you tried the scribed ability, "Shocking Soul"? It's the "Wield Soul" skill, but with a shock damage script for the focus, class mastery script for the signature, and breach for the affix. It hits really hard when you are on a no pet mag sorc, and puts the breach debuff on targets, so you'll hit them even harder with subsequent attacks.
That's a great one as well. It's one of the spammables used in a recent IA video here as well along with Soul Burst: th-cam.com/video/p3bUicTfAzI/w-d-xo.html&t When combined with the Storm Cursed set, you can get some wild shock damage flying around.

So like it's a one bar build with a back bar of things that can be good to use if I manage to remember about swapping bars. I still might go full one bar if and when I get an Oakensoul. Too early to be thinking about it right now.

With crit surge and innerlight and daedroc armor etc why then oakensoul. Msot buffs already in bar. Why not go for a 2nd one piece monsterset or sumrhing? :) just wondering
Hi there! Its adding quite a lot on top of the dps buffs from crit surge and inner light. Between major resolve adding quite a lot of resistances and the various minors it adds, its brining a lot to the table for a well rounded kit. You can certainly run it without oakensoul with something like Iceheart monster set (there are a few immortal builds on the channel using Iceheart + Overwhelming Surge + X and no Oakensoul), but Oaken takes the edge off in many areas and adds a good bit of quality of life increases. Generally speaking, for any 1 bar build, especially solo builds, even if you got both major dps buffs from essence of spell/weapon power, and slotted something for major resolve, all the minors from oakensoul really do add up to a big benefit typically when looking at the build as a whole (dps, healing, survivability, utility, etc.) not to mention the various benefits of being able to run tripots if you didnt have abilities slotted for the majors. Theres no 'right' answer though. As long as you are having fun, clearing content, and not holding others back with your build choices, you are good to go. 💪
Hey there, im new to eso and I was wondering what the highest damage one bar setup is? Im open to any class and willing to put in time to farm gear and whatnot. I dont really mind 2 weapon setups it just seems super complicated and id rather stick to 1 if possible.
You can play with any weapon, however, an L. staff will definitely accommodate the build most. Especially since more or less all of our damage is direct damage, and then you have the ability to heavy attack for magicka if/when needed.
Love your builds, do u have any that can solo vet Dragonstar arena? I tried this one(and a few other of yours) but cant make it, maybe I’m just bad tho.
Thank you! Tough one. War Maiden is probably not too bad. Its going to juice your frags quite a lot for more damage and also reaving blows heals. However, it wont help crit surge or lightning flood. You can pick up pieces super cheap on traders in off-traits, if you wanted to try it out. Other than that, I would have to play test it to know for sure.

Hey Just wanna say that i really appreciate your builds. Have used them ever since i started playing 5 months ago and they never let me down. Even some friends who first said "why would he play that, thats stupid" later came back saying "i tried it and that guy is a genius"😂 Anyway, i finally got trial gear for my templar and wanted to go for the dps builds from the website. Problem is that by some cosmic levels of bad luck i dont have the traits unlocked for the weapons and a question came up: Why do you play daggers/greatsword on a magplar build? Could i switch it out cause i prefer staves? Thanks again for the content and have a nice day
Thanks so much for comment and I am glad you are enjoying the builds. Since ESO was hybridized a few years ago, it changes things quite a bit for weapons where now sustain is mostly a non factor (for most builds) and we go after weapon passives primarily for dps. Dual Wield has the best passives for dps typically and you also get access to 2x weapon enchants with flame/poison which ultimately gives you more dps. However, there is nothing wrong with running staff as long as you are good with having a bit less dps than what is advertised.
Awesome man, miss your builds these days. The devs are ruining the game by nerfing everything because of pvp and you save the pvers, awesome. Will test at home, seems that will clear vatesheran vet faster now, no death.

It definitely would if you want to add that to your bars. I didnt want to call this a "3 button build" just for that 1 mech however.

if you are farming gear, then literally anything can work. Just use whatever you have.

Currently on the website, the Warden is the leader of the pack (pun intended) at 104-105k dps with 1 bar.
