102.3K Sgt Highland Oaken 64Stam Thief, BTrap BArm DPrey 2pets Precise console. Rele in place of Highland is close, single target, but gives mobility. Craftable Orders Wrath with SgtMail is great overall, does good damage and is mobile. 2bar is only faster with experienced players having a good rotation while doing mechs, and staying alive. Otherwise, the 1bar Sorc is good for most content. Uptime is arguably way easier, plus more survivable. 1bar Sorc is great to use in content while learning 2bar rotation and timing on the dummy building up one's skill over time. A beginner 1bar is going to be doing way better than a 2bar beginner. Plus, 1bar Sorc is going to be much faster for a beginner to build their CP to 14-1500 for max damage. But yes, be practicing and learning 2bar rotations. FYI: in groups, at least 1 Sorc needs to run Crystal Frags or morph to provide the group 6 percent critical chance. I've hit 131k with my 2bar, but only use it in certain hardmode trials.

And so many players today have no idea what the game was like without CPs, without mythics, grinding for traits, getting insta killed by a wolf in Craglorn lololol.
@eigh1puppies I would love to see these referred to as accessibility builds as opposed to beginner builds. (I use this sort of build to DPS, and I have been playing the game for 10 years) There are people with physical limitations that are afforded the ability to do content they never could do before, thanks to builds like these. A lot of those players are older with less dexterity, or may suffer medical conditions that prevent efficient bar swapping and weaving. It can do most vet hard mode content and even some trifectas, if it’s your goal to get into harder content though I’d strongly advise using these builds as a starting point. I wouldn’t advise taking the one bar builds into anything past Rockgrove, though it would be possible to do them with this build if that makes sense
My magden build pre update 43 (haven’t played since then so don’t know now) did 120k, static rotation, could block cast every skill, had inner light slotted on both bars, and didn’t use the ultimate. I’d say that was easiest / most versatile damage dealer in the game. If you got sweaty ;) and used the ultimate you’d do another 7k dps.
How do you never actually cast twilight tormentor and how does it do a 'ton of passive damage' without being cast? Also, why go with Sergeant's Mail if you aren't going to get the 5-piece bonus?
Great build. ive been running a sorc since game release and this is a perfect for people who don't wanna run two bars. literally the only thing i would change on your build is you don't need to run aegis on the fb. the passives count while it's on the back bar. surge or mages wrath would go better there
Hi. I’m debating here. Would Highlands be better for solo content than Noble Duelist. The problem is the melee range on noble duelist. Also was thinking about storm master but that set is more to group activity rather than solo. So for solo the best would be Build 1?
@@eigh1puppies Okay but crit chance stacking would be an nightmare if the purpose is for farming Imperial city bosses. But both sets are craftable so might want to test both.
I’m curious at to how Tharriker’s Strike would perform in place of Highland Sentinel in the first build you showcased. Did you try it/is that even a viable combo?
how does other gear perform compared to highland in one bar i just dont like having to stand in place for too long idk how much better or worse some gear are what do you think are good alternatives main ones ive seen are orders wrath easy to get storm master somewhat easy to get just annoying to run dungeons noble duelist also kinda easy to get but has wasted stat on stam regen deadly strike this is the one ive seen run alot its a bit expensive to buy rn but i dont mind since i can just share gear perfected mora scribes thesis this one i just liked the synergy with oakensoul i think you can hit both crit damage and pen cap with this but its impossible for me to get cause i can barely hit 100k with an arcanist 2 bar im bad
I’m confused, if you have oakensoul ring and slimecraw head how do you get 5 pieces of each armor? Also why run medium armor with a magic based character? Is there a benefit I’m not seeing?
You’d run 5 of a 5 five piece set on 5/7 body, 1 slime on 1/7, and 1 of a 5 piece set on 1/7body, then the rest of it on 4/4 weapons and rings Medium Armor gives crit damage, mag and Stam aren’t based in any gear type anymore.
@ but aren’t we running the oakensoul ring? So if we use that doesn’t that take us down to 3/3 weapons and rings? I’m going after the sets and I want to give this a try. I’m just confused?
I am currently trying this build but I need to finish morphs and the rotation. Currently at 79k. My current problem is that I don’t see any kind of confirmation on Highland Sentinel is actually working, where as I can see sgts mail working I cannot with HS. Please help me.
There is a buff that normally appears to the far left of the buff above your health bar that look like an arrow so that you can track stacks and see if it’s working or not!
I am trying to get more into pve and made one build with 91k damage so far, would 110k build be usable in all trials with no problem? Sorry just want to make sure before getting a group to farm RG
So in endgame in general, the further you get the more you want to “min max” So is 110 good enough for all trials, sure, but if you want to get into the newer hard modes at any point your goal should be constant improvement more than it is a dummy number. If your goal is just to farm gear and maybe do a couple HMs, 110 is perfectly fine
Just wondering on the potions how you have around 200 more health restoration than i do with the same mats? All the other stats are the same in value though just not health restore
Most solo players should use Deadly Strike or Noble Duelist over Highland Sentinel. Yeah you lose out on some damage but when you’re solo you can’t really afford to stand still at all, and it’s very boring to just stand in place holding heavy attacks the whole time.
@@eigh1puppies Orders wrath is great too. And yes it’s possible no doubt about it, just a bit more difficult and a lot less fun to play in my opinion but to each their own. It’s a solid build anyway.
Hmm, for the solo content gear, what happens if you go Noble Duelist instead of Order's Wrath? I tried switching the gear around and killing a non-trial dummy with both combinations and even with imperfect traits on the ND set and the OW set having perfect traits and all the baseline stats (crit% etc) being higher, the ND combination still did 38k DPS while the OW combo did 33k. Im probably missing something or reading into one-time results too much, but still, it is a thought. Also, since ND has the Meelee range thing to proc, something like Hardened Ward is probably nice. (I barely even count the pets as skills at all, seeing how annoying having Matriarch wings flapping in my face all the time honestly broke me a little and now Im done with pets, hah, I dont even use a non-combat pet at the moment.)
I’m following the first one but I have a high elf. It’s only hitting 62k. I had to make the bird heal because I can’t trust the healers half the time. Would that make sense for that high of a DPS drop. I don’t think so. I honestly don’t know how people hit the 90+k
Deadly is good, but highland is a bit better on the dummy, and orders wrath is a bit better in content. Not sure of the exact values but the difference should be pretty small!
Can i replace Highland with mother's sorrow? There's no condition for the 5 piece crit bonus for it like standing still. I say this because i already have a few gold pieces of mother's already sitting in my bank 😅
@@eigh1puppies That can be ordered. The build with Highland and mother's and Valkyn one piece is doing well so far. One thing I tried is to slot Elemental Susceptibility and just backbar Bound Aegis for the minor resolve and max mag boost. Your thoughts?
Heyo, I am rocking this build and racking my brain over this, I have the build the same as your first build. But I am not getting the 17K Healing, is that just the tormentor?
Skimmed through the build, it wasnt exactly what I was looking for since Im usually going solo and Ive already a really decent class (by my accounts at least, just under 60k DPS and thats with Divines missing on a number of armor pieces, running Thief mundus of course, haha) but Ill keep an eye on this one methinks. I think Ill probably try to switch out one of my sets with the Sentinel one just to see if it works for me, I always wrote it off exactly because of the "..but if I go solo, I HAVE to move" reason, but maybe it is not as bad as I think then, heh. Also, do you have written guides anywhere?
I’ve just got everything I need for this build but I’m only getting like 30k DPS and can’t understand what I would do differently to 3x the damage. Any ideas?
Mainly because of bloodthirsty though I think the note about exe is mostly irrelevant, the 21 mil just gives all the buffs you should normally receive with a good raid comp
Pillar of nirn pairs way better with seargents than orders wrath. For solo and group play idk why no one talks about seargents with pillar slimclaw and oakensoul
I’m kinda new to eso been playing for 5 months at champ 813 trying to get big numbers like this to be able try my luck in trials. What’s a decent way to get my dmg up because on a 321k dummy I do 22k dps which takes 16 seconds a 21 mil dummy would take me forever.
The number you're seeing is because of the dummy you're parsing on. The 21 Mil gives all of the raid buffs you should most typically be receiving, so it'll go up a ton if you use it!
22K on a no buff dummy isn't all that bad. Find a trial dummy and you will not only get much better numbers (be sure to activate the synergy when it comes up), you'll get a better idea how you'll do in a group with a competent healer and tank who provide the group with buffs
Ok love one bars, but in actual content how do you expect us to stand still and build the stacks. Nice build for parsing, it improved my dummy score . But standing still in content just wont work. Maybe ill try orders wrath again . Ive looked at other gear as well like nulla arc, but in content for me mora scribe has worked the best. Doesn't give u the splashiest dos numbers but it destroys stuff
@@jumpsuit747 I used highland sentinel in half the footage in this video at max stacks lol. It takes practice but it’s doable, and if you don’t want to take the time master the set, then you can use slightly weaker alternatives. And as discussed, Highland doesn’t need to be at max stacks to be better than other options. You can move a little here and there and it’s still better, that movement just needs to be calculated a little.
@eigh1puppies I'm not trying to complain about the build but just stating it might not be for everyone, at least not highland sentinel. I most only do normal content so pretty much any combo works for me but was looking to try and spice things up, just not for me but thxs for your work

Wouldn't you want dark elf and 64 points into stamina? You're running medium armor. The medium armor skill line gives you a percent more stamina based on how many armor pieces you have. So you would get more stamina, so that would help your weapon and spell damage scale higher. Wouldn't you want to use skills from the fighters guild to use their passives and get their 3% bonus to weapon and spell damage?
Medium armor doesn’t increase max Stam, it helps with some Stam related stats though (like recovery for example) 7 and 8% max mag increases with inner light and bound armaments for mag characters will be slightly stronger than fighters guild abilities!
Oouuff toxic people. I love both 1b 2b. 1b is great option and ofc it will never be higher dmg then 2b. My 1b is a stam build with Hurricane and Bound Armaments Daedric prey 2 pets Charged Atro. Glyphs and Attributes all stam. Lightning staff Charged. Sergeants mail + Relequen real fight and Highland sentinal on dummy. The cast just isn’t worth the damage increase: we measure casting dots and aoes by the total damage a dot does over its entire duration vs the amount of damage a soammable does in one cast (since a dot takes one cast to do x amount of damage over y seconds) In this case, hitting a spam over tormentor is just more damage
Aegis Caller is not buffed by Pray. It is not counted as a pet by Zos. Also "getting Major Resolve in groups" doesn't matter on Oakensoul users, since they already get that buff from it. And the armor cap is not 32k. That said. Great video. xD
Sad truth is that the endgame population has been really low ever since U35. It’s taken the last 8 patches to get us to where we are now, and the only way endgame will keep growing is if the endgame community commits to teaching and helping to build up the newer players. If you’re an endgame player, you already know the limitations of HA builds, and you know where they will and will not perform well. We have 100% beat this topic to death. Continuing to argue about it doesn’t help grow endgame. I think, if you are endgame and care about its continued existence, that we should do our best help make endgame accessible. There’s a percentage of players who will play the HA builds and never get off of them. And then there’s a smaller percentage of players who will start there, and then progress upwards. We will have to help them all to get that small percentage of players. That’s just how it is. That’s why endgame players are only like 2% of the entire population anyway.
That is how it SHOULD BE. This is what MAKES COMMUNITY valuable in these games. It's 100% for some people's endgame progression to END with HA builds and it's also perfectly okay for it to BEGIN with ha builds... hell, it's okay if the SKIP HA builds... it is ALL OKAY... that's the beautiful part of making the content accessible with these kinds of builds. It's not just a training wheels thing.
Stormasters was nerfed in a patch a while back. It no longer has 100% uptime, therefore other sets have been better. I found that Deadly was best for a long minute, but this new highlander set beats it by about 10k+
@@kylebarclay9352 i made the build last night but im a breton so a little less damage. i ran solo with it and the damage is solid and the matriarch heal is pretty sick. i will try a vet dungeon in a group and see how the buffs help it. thank you :)
Can someone explain why you need 30k mag on a build that doesn’t use more than 10k mag before refilling???? How does that improve damage when you don’t use any of it?
Mag isn’t just for casting skills, skill will quite literally hit harder the higher you max mag is. Conversely, if Stam is your largest resource, then abilities will do more damage the higher your Stam is. It’s a damage modifying stat as well as a resource pool used to cast abilities if that makes sense
If you have any criticism, go make your damn video and quit talking shit about anybody else's. He's found a setup that might work for him. That's why we play with builds and different setups to find what works best for ourselves.
People say 2 bar is better hit higher numbers. But are thoses people keeping up a perfect rotation hitting every skills on time never missing a LA in hm content to hit 120k dps. NO there not ive watched so many high hitting dps povs in my time and there rotations and la weaving in content are an utter mess compared to a dummy which would drop there dps to 95 100k anyways.
I think there’s validity in attempting to get proficient with 2 bars though for the sake of doing very difficult content down the line but the train of thought here isn’t entirely wrong at all!
Sadly, I feel that using a HA build as a “beginner” build disincentivizes (what I admittedly assume to be) most of the player base from applying diligent effort into maximizing DPS on a LA build. Why are they gonna shift from a HA build to a LA build when it’s an immediate drop in DPS, ease of use, and survivability?

Otherwise, the 1bar Sorc is good for most content. Uptime is arguably way easier, plus more survivable. 1bar Sorc is great to use in content while learning 2bar rotation and timing on the dummy building up one's skill over time. Is the one bar build, good enough to do Vet-Hardmode content? Or be able to join a prog team? Just wondering before I make it 😅
It can do most vet hard mode content and even some trifectas, if it’s your goal to get into harder content though I’d strongly advise using these builds as a starting point.

Hi. I’m debating here. Would Highlands be better for solo content than Noble Duelist. The problem is the melee range on noble duelist. Also was thinking about storm master but that set is more to group activity rather than solo. So for solo the best would be Build 1?
Honestly Orders Wrath is one of the best options for solo if anything. I think highland would be stronger than those options though
@@eigh1puppies Okay but crit chance stacking would be an nightmare if the purpose is for farming Imperial city bosses. But both sets are craftable so might want to test both.
The builds are made for 12/4 and solo pve content, they’re not made with icp bosses, though I’m not particularly sure why that matters
I’m curious at to how Tharriker’s Strike would perform in place of Highland Sentinel in the first build you showcased. Did you try it/is that even a viable combo?
I did not get a chance to try it, I think Highland will still perform a bit better on the dummy though if I had to guess!
I strongly assume there is a light attack between each rapid strike? On the second build?
Correct
how does other gear perform compared to highland in one bar i just dont like having to stand in place for too long idk how much better or worse some gear are what do you think are good alternatives main ones ive seen are
orders wrath easy to get
storm master somewhat easy to get just annoying to run dungeons
noble duelist also kinda easy to get but has wasted stat on stam regen
deadly strike this is the one ive seen run alot its a bit expensive to buy rn but i dont mind since i can just share gear
perfected mora scribes thesis this one i just liked the synergy with oakensoul i think you can hit both crit damage and pen cap with this but its impossible for me to get cause i can barely hit 100k with an arcanist 2 bar im bad
Orders is only maybe 5k behind, deadly I think would be the next best bet only being 2-4K behind
I’m confused, if you have oakensoul ring and slimecraw head how do you get 5 pieces of each armor? Also why run medium armor with a magic based character? Is there a benefit I’m not seeing?
You’d run 5 of a 5 five piece set on 5/7 body, 1 slime on 1/7, and 1 of a 5 piece set on 1/7body, then the rest of it on 4/4 weapons and rings
Medium Armor gives crit damage, mag and Stam aren’t based in any gear type anymore.
@ but aren’t we running the oakensoul ring? So if we use that doesn’t that take us down to 3/3 weapons and rings? I’m going after the sets and I want to give this a try. I’m just confused?
@ your weapon counts as 2 pieces since you can slot 2 daggers for example: staff counts as 2!
No worries feel free to ask any questions!

So in endgame in general, the further you get the more you want to “min max”
So is 110 good enough for all trials, sure, but if you want to get into the newer hard modes at any point your goal should be constant improvement more than it is a dummy number.
If your goal is just to farm gear and maybe do a couple HMs, 110 is perfectly fine

Lorkhan Tears, Columbine, Bugloss, Mountain Flower for Tri stat
Most solo players should use Deadly Strike or Noble Duelist over Highland Sentinel. Yeah you lose out on some damage but when you’re solo you can’t really afford to stand still at all, and it’s very boring to just stand in place holding heavy attacks the whole time.
I recommended orders wrath more for solo content, but as shown in the video, highland sentinel is very possible to maintain
@@eigh1puppies Orders wrath is great too. And yes it’s possible no doubt about it, just a bit more difficult and a lot less fun to play in my opinion but to each their own. It’s a solid build anyway.

You can but I would try to set it up so that you have as many Medium Armor pieces on the body as possible!
I'll have to try it!
So i am trying your build and using the daggers and aegis caller as mag and i cant spam the rapid strikes w/o having stam starved how do you fix that?

Quick question, on the second build, 64 points into Stamina?
I have 64 points into mag for both builds, it might feel more comfy with that if you'd like though!
is deadly strike good? whats the damage difference?
Deadly is good, but highland is a bit better on the dummy, and orders wrath is a bit better in content.
Not sure of the exact values but the difference should be pretty small!
Can i replace Highland with mother's sorrow? There's no condition for the 5 piece crit bonus for it like standing still. I say this because i already have a few gold pieces of mother's already sitting in my bank 😅
You can for sure, I’d suggest Order’s Wrath though

The cast just isn’t worth the damage increase: we measure casting dots and aoes by the total damage a dot does over its entire duration vs the amount of damage a soammable does in one cast (since a dot takes one cast to do x amount of damage over y seconds)
In this case, hitting a spam over tormentor is just more damage

What about stormasters instead of orders wrath?

Can someone explain why you need 30k mag on a build that doesn’t use more than 10k mag before refilling???? How does that improve damage when you don’t use any of it?
Mag isn’t just for casting skills, skill will quite literally hit harder the higher you max mag is. Conversely, if Stam is your largest resource, then abilities will do more damage the higher your Stam is. It’s a damage modifying stat as well as a resource pool used to cast abilities if that makes sense

It all well and good but the mythic take a long time to get same with the mage build and high land cost a lot of money if you can't make it your self but great build
The mage guild
Everybody can farm the mythic ...
Yeah the goal was to avoid things that couldn’t be done on your own. All good damage is gonna take some farming in any mmo
Yeah I know it just takes a long time to get the skill level high enough to get it and same with the mage guild takes a long time to max
@@ShaneWolf-ez7xk can but doesn’t have to.
LOL and here I am struggling to hit even 40k.
Are you parsing on the iron atro?
I must be doing something wrong I’m only hitting 60k at most 😢
Are you in the discord?
Seeing as how any decently rewarding content requires you to move, I just can’t see myself using this. Am I mistaken?
Yeah in my opinion you’re thinking creatively enough about fights and encounters and/or not watching the alternatives discussed!
