    I like to use gel base. It doesn’t matter how long or fast put it in the light and it is done. I change thing up. Sometimes I do acrylic or hard gel or poly gel and sometimes dip. I do like dip it is the easiest way. You show how to do so many different designs. Thank you for educating us.

    I've been dipping for nearly 4 years and prefer a fast drying liquid. I didn't realize I did until I tried a slow drying formula and was just so frustrated waiting! I occasionally do an ombre or baby boomer, but can move fast enough that I really still like the faster drying liquids!

    I just want to say thank you for your dip tips! The tip of pointing your finger downward when applying the top coat is a game changer! I am on my 3rd summer dipping my nails (I take a break in the winter) and have lost the lifting battle the entire time. But I utilized this tip when dipping today and it worked! I don't have top coat pooled up around my skin and it looks great! I also love the idea of the precision tool! I had a similar tool and it also helped immensely! I also pushed my folds back between dips and that also helped so much! This is the first time I have ever been excited for my mani to grow out lol! I'm excited to experience no lift for the first time 😂 I love your videos! You do a wonderful job! Thank you!

      @@SipAndDip you're so very welcome! I do have a question about the top coat, if you don't mind. Do you have any tips on how to not activate the top coat bottle after the seal protect step, by chance? I have exclusively used Kiara Sky products and they have great customer service and advice, but their advice on waiting two minutes for the seal protect to dry and rubbing it in did not stop my top coat bottle from hardening. I bought the refill bottle and now I pour it into a separate container, which helped a lot. My current problem is I go through 3 of the replacement brushes per dip due to the top coat activating and hardening on the brush. It is aggravating, but I make it work. I was wondering if you've ever had this issue and if so, how did you solve it?

    Hi I love your videos and you’re the only video for nails that I watch. I learned so much from you. I live in Ohio, so with the drive time to be slower? Also, how many minutes should I wait before I clean them with a brush? Thank you.

      @SipAndDip  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much for watching and supporting ! 🫶🏻 I really appreciate it! I would say if you don’t have a fan running, direct air circulation by you, then it’s likely it will dry slower. However, it will depend on the brand if it’s faster - slow drying too 💗 it’s difficult to say on how many minutes since it can vary on which brand you’re using. I would suggest doing each nail first before dusting off just to be safe

      That can be really frustrating! It could be that you need more activator. So applying a very generous layer of activator after shaping + wait the full 2 min. @@miriamdromano5729 true! I’ve seen her do designs with revel as well which she said was fast drying so was just curious cause I’m in the market for liquids and not sure which brand to go with 🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s sounding like there isn’t a good/bad option but more of a preference!

      @miriamdromano5729 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yea of course, in the video when’s she’s doing baby boomer she’s not going so fast so I would think the dip well liquids are medium dry time. I have revel liquids they do dry pretty fast.
