      If the Winds of Winter and Dream of Spring never come out, don't worry. We can just have Robert narrate to us all in two three-hour videos in his own words how he thinks that each book should go and what happens to all the characters. Then we can all go away satisfied and content.

    I always like the idea that Tywin was either involved in joffreys murder or didn't try to stop it. Joffrey would eventually become too much for him to handle so getting him out of the way kind of plays into his hand, and keeps Tywin firmly in control.

    Radio Westeros has also theorised that Marwyn was the maester on Dragonstone when Dany was born. That’d explain why he’s considered an outsider. He’s not a Targ, but he’s associated with them. Also explains why he had no shred of doubt about going to her. Though I’m fascinated as to whether Dany remembers that he trained Mirri Maz Duur.

    Here's my breakdown of why the immortal Bolton theory for me feels very possible.
    Roose mentions how in his youth he used to be more hot blooded and it's the leeches that purge the "bad blood" and allow him to be his cool calm self. We know that skinchangers have an easier time warging an animal that they have a bond with and that has already been broken in. Roose i feel has somewhat mentally broken Ramsey in that Ramsey feels cowed by Roose instinctively. Roose has already established a relationship of dominance woth Ramsey and so perhaps when Roose attempts to warg into him it will be easier because his consciousness already has a dominanxe ocer Ramseys.
    Secondly maintaining his control of the body over the lifetime and allowing his consciousness to not become subsumed by the hosts consciousness over time like supposedly happens with a skinchangers second life. Perhaps it is the leeching that allows him to maintain dominance over the host consciousness, keep the body somewhat weak, so that it is easier to dominate. Not ti mention the possibility of there being special herbs in his hipocras that may be helping also.
    Thirdly, wih the Bolton's long history of being seeming Stark hunters, and with GRRM having established in another story that the abilities of a werewolf can be gained by skinning a werewolf and wearing the skin, this could possibly explain how Bolton's were perhaps able to acquire the ability in the first place, and also how they are able to maintain the ability for many generations if no offspring have it naturally. Hunt a skinchanger and wear there skin and you once again have secured the powers of a skinchanger for your house.
    I feel we will never have a clear answer for this, but i definitely feel like GRRM is making subtle allusions to all this so that we can all guess at the uniqueness of house Bolton.

    Okay so, my crackpot theory is that the real father of Ashara Dayne’s child was not any of the Starks or Howland Reed or Pedro Pascal, but Ser Arthur Dayne. Which is why Ned was so quick to figure out Cersei was banging Jamie. He had already seen it before. My crackpot theory is that Ashara did have a short romance with Ned, but she was ultimately in love with Arthur, and Ned discovered it. Because he loved her-even if it wasn’t reciprocated-he kept her secret, and returned the sword, and told the Daynes about Arthur’s fate. Arthur and Ashara also mirror Cersei and Jaimie: the perfect knight and the most beautiful maiden in the seven kingdoms-which is how both of them aspire to be seen. Meera is still taken by Howland as part of Ned’s plan to hide suspicious kids in this theory, tho I still don’t know why. This covers why Howland would tell the story as “the most beautiful maiden in the kingdom”-because Ashara still is Meera’s mother, so he has an incentive to hype her up-and why Ashara jumped to her death-she was truly heartbroken at her lover having died, that part is true. More sinister and more numerous reasons may have been involved in any of these steps, as well, but I think you can see the skeleton. Anyways, that’s my theory.

      Thats funny that Robert is named the Usurper and on his death the throne goes straight back to the Targs. Aerys told Jamie to kill his father, he is a kinslayer and a kingslayer. Targs commit incest. Antime a Targ is born the gods flip a coin. Cersei mad. Joffrey is described as Aerys the 3rd. Joffrey and Cersei both obsessed with wildfire. Tyrion is Tywin's only trueborn son.

      I’d be more inclined to believe it for Tyrion given the timing of their fallout and the incident with Joanna.
      Jaime being told by his aunt that he’s not Tywin’s son isn’t meant to be taken literally.
      She’s saying that he’s not as cunning,intelligent,or ruthless.
      All things Tyrion has but he doesn’t. It’s why he thinks back to that conversation after threatening to fling edmure’s baby over the wall with a trebuchet.

    Dark Tinfoil ahead: Bran never leaves the cave and becomes the new 3 eyed crow. Jon comes back to life changed, and unwilling to do the necessary things to fulfill the prophecy and save the world. So Bran wargs into Jon, and lives out the rest of Jon's life for him, being Azor Ahai, saving the world, becoming King afterwards, etc while Jon retreats into Ghost more and more as he can't stand to share his own body with Bran.
    Side note: You seem convinced Bran leaves the cave, I am convinced he does not and will integrate into the trees like Blood Raven did, and the only way he gets to leave is through the eyes he wargs. Are you convinced Bran will physically leave, and why?

    • @AnthonyDGreen
      @AnthonyDGreen 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Even better. Everything that happens after Bran's fall is a Wizard of Oz style dream. The final scene of "A dream of spring" will just be him opening his eyes back in his bed. He's been in his coma so long that ... Winter is now finally Coming!
      And, despite this being a book, it cuts to black and the Game of Thrones theme will start playing... somehow.

    I found very interesting symbolic connection between some French acting school! I dont remember the name but Essentially you start off with a mask and the final phase is a clown nose! Which is said to be the hardest to embodie someone else. When Arya is serving drinks at the meeting the tiny variation of the changes to the peoples faces, are essentially phases in this schools syllabus!
    I recommend checking it out! I would also recommend researching Golden Chalice Roses! The lore behind it amongs native americans describes the story pretty well. I found one lore site that was way detailed years ago, but i havent been able to find it again. The sites i have find since have similar ties to the story! They do not fit as precisely though. The tyrell rose is golden and sounds similar growing all over walls and stuff, Arlon of Penny tree has a winged golden chalice as his sigil, joffery is poisioned from drinking from a golden chalice! Its very interesting!
    The one thing i found interesting speaking of flowers, I started researching the different flowers in the story because of Chett. He talks about spending an entire day looking for different flowers, and it didnt make sense to me. After looking into all these flowers it seems like Chett was bringing this girl flowers that would allow her to abort a child! So essentially she risk nothing sleeping with him, and hey shes already slept with everyone, so now she has no exuse in his mind. Or maybe even it was a requirement to bed her. This is why he gets so enraged and kills her, because she still wont sleep with him.
    So all the known flowers aside from many non existent flowers, the ones that do exist in the story and in our world are connected to contraception essentially abortive agents, bith in universe and out of universe lore.
    Anywho in the lore one of the flowers it gives people dreams and brings on strong northern winds. I am curious what you think about Chett being the one that buried the dragon glass cache! Its hard to catch because of the gape in when we get the information. But chett and his cronies weeks before the attack at the fist of the first men have cached food, weapons, and supplies. Chett panics when it begins to snow because he fears they wont find the caches!
    What are the chances someone else with a new Nights Watch cloak is burrying caches of things around the first around the time chett and his group are also doing this!
    Its very possible being maester Amons Steward that he heard Amon talk about dragon glass and found a cache of the stuff at castle black and brought it with! Maester Luwin has a bunch of dragon glass arrowheads. He gives some to Bran and Rickon. It doesnt really make sense that he do this besides to show us maesters have this, and to talk of the children and magic. Bran and Rickon dont have these later so it seems pointless they be given this.
    Chett seems much more likely to be the culprit!

    My tinfoil is that the Other’s real target is King’s Landing and that should they breach the wall, any siege of Winterfell will be a diversion.

    • @AnthonyDGreen
      @AnthonyDGreen 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      In Season 8, I really wanted everyone to be preparing to defend Winterfell only for the final shot of an episode to be them seeing the army of the dead just march past it on their way south to the God's Eye Lake or King's Landing:
      "The Dead... Where are they going?!"
      (With horrified confusion)
      "I don't know..."
      (Cut to black and scary music)
      But yeah, the idea that it's all about Winterfell or even just killing the living is kinda simplistic. They aren't Morgoth or Sauron's army of orcs bend on world domination or destruction, they have an interesting purpose and I think it's way more likely that they want to destroy the Isle of Faces (that thing that bothers to be defended by water on all sides) than that they just want to kill everything. I theorize that's the only way to end their curse or whatever and finally die or get sent back to their home dimension.

    • @EtruskenRaider
      @EtruskenRaider 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      @ One thing that ASOIF has done well is how much death exudes from King’s Landing.
      It’s a pre-modern city so the number of small folk who fill paupers graves in Flea Bottom are staggering.
      I envisage the Others hearing the screams of the dead and suffering from beyond the Wall and seeing their invasion as raising them from their state of death. For to be undead is to triumph over death.
      And victory for the living should only be possible with the help of ALL the living especially the low born.

    Dawn brings the light = Lightbringer
    Sword of the Morning = Sword of the MOURNING
    Because Azor Ahai had to kill Nissa Nissa to create the sword, and thus he mourns for her.
    They say Dawn was created from the heart of a fallen star. The fallen star being the wife of a Dayne, who’s heraldry is that of a falling star. Lightbringer was forged by plunging a blade into the HEART of Nissa Nissa.

      In a nutshell and from memory: Alleras is Sarella spelled backward, Arianne (I think) mentions that Sarella is currently in Oldtown, they are both dornish with a mother from the Summer Islands, their looks are described in a similar way, Aemon tells Sam that the sphinx is the riddle not the riddler and Alleras' nicname in the citadel is the sphinx and Lazy Leo Tyrell believes and says that Alleras is the son of a lord which Alleras disputes ( because she is actually the daughter of a prince not the son of a lord)

    Just to respond to your points on the Marwyn Brightflame theory: there are two possible reasons INC put forward for why he wouldnt be named Maester Maegor. The first is because he was at the citadel to hide him, so of course he was renamed. And the second option is, he was never actually called Maegor to begin with and the idea that he was was just political slander to keep him off the throne.
    I think you're right that Marwyn being an archmaester disproves it though, he believes that a Targaryen would never be raised to the position, so him think that his own untrustworthy blood is Targaryen would be a contradiction of that.

    Wacky Theory: Euron wrote the Pink Letter.
    Proof:
    1. Euron is very versed in magic and can definitely of heard of the Azor Ahai prophecy. If Melisandre can see Jon Snow in the visions then it’s safe to say other magic users can as well.
    2. Euron believes Jon is Azor Ahai, a rival that can stop him from mantling the title or someone that can stop his Dark Apotheosis into Godhood.
    3. Euron learns about Jon through spying with Mormont’s Crow.

    4. He simply writes the Pink letter or magically influences Ramsay to write it playing into all of Jon’s Insecurities.
    5. Jon is killed, problem solved for Euron and now he is free to do whatever evil scheme he wants.
    This can probably be easily disproved by more knowledgeable Loremasters so let me know! :)
