Im happy to see the song of ice and fire (book series) getting more attention while under the shadow of the tv series. Because instead of the latter I believe in it becoming a satisfactory conclusion. Lets all hope for the Winds of Winter!
This is great man! I've watched a few times now as I'm in a bit of an ASOIAF binge ha! A few minor corrections: 3:55 - Tywin proposed a marriage of Cersei to Rhaegar, not Viserys. 7:40 - Elbert Arryn rode with Brandon Stark to Kings Landing and was executed. He was heir to the Vale, but he was NOT Jon Arryn's son; he was his nephew (and heir since Jon had no children nor wife at the time). 16:40 - Prince Doran Martell was Elia's brother not her father. 25:46 - The sword of House Dayne is called "Dawn". The wielder of Dawn is known as "The Sword of The Morning" 35:00 - Ser Willem Darry sailed Viserys and Daenerys to Braavos, not Pentos 53:26 - Ser Kevan Lannister is Tywin's brother, not cousin. 1:09:25 - Edmure Tully slander will not be tolerated. The show has ruined his character. 1:46:42 - Lady Brienne of Tarth is not a knight and therefore does not hold the title of "Ser" 3:14:32 - Cersei was not crowned Queen. Tommen was King (but a boy) and Cersei Queen-Regent
They also were wrong about Dragonstone being a punishment for Stannis. It was the castle for Targaryens which their heirs would sit. Robert gave it to Stannis as heir and Storm's End went to Renly because of that. GRRM himself has said it wasn't a punishment. "Stannis always resented being given Dragonstone while Renly got Storm's End, and took that as a slight... but it's not necessarily true that Robert meant it that way. The Targaryen heir apparent had always been titled Prince of Dragonstone. By making Stannis the Lord of Dragonstone, Robert affirmed his brother's status as heir (which he was, until Joff's birth a few years later). Robert could just as lawfully retained both castles for his sons, and made Joffrey the Prince of Dragonstone and Tommen the Lord of Storm's End. Giving them to his brothers instead was another instance of his great, but rather careless, generosity."
@@darius5396 Yeah it focused primarily on the main politics of the story. Won't complain too much though as I'm sure it's a monumental task and I appreciate the effort. This is probably the most comprehensive single video book series summary on TH-cam. I also like CivilizationEx's video but it's much more condensed (~1 hr). On a lighter note, I wonder long a fully comprehensive summary of all events and story-lines leading up to TWOW would be. I can see it being 5 to 6 hours easily.
Edmure isnt incompetent Robb was , because he didnt inform the Second most powerful person in his Kingdom of his plans Hold Riverrun doesnt Mean let a Massive Army pass trough outside the Castle and while they Raze your lands
Great video. The care and lore that went inot this fictitious history is remarkable. It never happened and never will, but it keeps millions enraptured. here's to Team Black...
The Iron Throne is really cursed, I guess. Some of them involved in the Game gets a gruesome ending; Ned, Renly, Viserys, Balon, Robb, Catelyn, Joffrey, Tywin, and Kevan. Some of them got disfigured by the Game; Tyrion, Jamie, Cersei, Margaery, Jon Connigton, Victorion, and Loras. Tells a lot about what's coming for the other players: Stannis, Daenerys, Aegon, Mace Tyrell, Olenna, Euron, Littlefinger, and Doran.
@@Kj99x all of the Characters I've mentioned are directly involved in the game of thrones. Characters like Jon or Mance are more concerned about daily survival than playing the game. Also characters like Sansa or Arya are more of pawns than players.
@@Kj99x I believe Jon, Dany, and Tyrion are on their redemption arc. Jon trying to redeem himself as a bastard, Tyrion as a dwarf, and Dany as a missa (free slaves).
This is perfectly entertaining. We need an indepth faithful animated adaptation from HBO (if the books are ever finished) That would be amazing, probably be like 17 seasons lol
The Dragon, the Direwolf, the Lion and the Stag. Old gods and new gods and Brothers in Black. Though you may struggle with bow and with blade, The Others are coming to take you away. A king or a whore or a crow on the Wall, There's no use in running cause Winter is Coming. A comet of blood high up in the sky, If you play this game you win or you die!
Ahh man.. Im so Glad i found and subbed to this channel long ago... his was perfect... Thanx all of you that produce this great content.. & Happy Fathers dayy all!
While I like this summary (three and a half hour summary, but still a summary), why was Daenerys repeatedly portrayed as wearing tank tops and crop tops? Does she get her wardrobe at The Gap in Yunkai?
When the rest of the land ignored them or thought their problems too trivial, one man came to the aid of the venerated Night's Watch. The One True a King of the Seven Kingdoms. STANNIS "THE MANNIS" BARATHEON!
This book got me into the fantasy world and 2000 novels later I still believe it's one of the top5 ever I will always put the Malazan Books on top of A Song of Ice and Fire series
Awesome video. Been wanting this for a while. 7:46 just a friendly heads up. Elbert was Jon Arryn’s nephew I believe, as one of the main issues for Jon Arryn was the age and health of his heir, Robert.
Out of respect for you guys, I like and leave a comment. But I honestly stopped caring about the next aSoIaF books a long time ago. Waiting a decade for every book puts us on track to finishing the book series in 2041.
How i think that could be a new serie of videos of Game of Thrones: A series that begins by explaining the differences between the books and the television series, and then narrates the events of the television series, since it seems that George RR Martin is going to take a while with the books.
Especially when their only reason for ever joining in the first place was their marriage pacts with the Targaryens. So you would think after the Martells were massacred alongside their only connection to the seven kingdoms in the Targaryens, they would just refuse to acknowledge Baratheon rule and become independent.

I would had been really obsessed with this some years ago. Nontheless Its a true masterpiece from the graphics, animations and of course the voice acting, truly the golden standard of documentaries!
Im happy to see the song of ice and fire (book series) getting more attention while under the shadow of the tv series. Because instead of the latter I believe in it becoming a satisfactory conclusion. Lets all hope for the Winds of Winter!
Oh good, I can watch this so I don't have to read the books while I wait for the next 8 years.
Arthur Dane's sword is called dawn. They call him the sword of the morning..
Best narration of a battle 💯
Fiction or non fiction I want to see some world war videos by this guy 😍
YOU ARE A TREASURE!
Just want you to know, you did a wonderful job with this video.
Never forget that at this point dany has been shitting water for 13 years
notice how the part about daenerys is the most replayed part of the 4 hour long video. daenerys you will always be famous😌
Saving this for when the AI rendition of Winds of Winter releases in 2046!
This is great man! I've watched a few times now as I'm in a bit of an ASOIAF binge ha!
A few minor corrections:
3:55 - Tywin proposed a marriage of Cersei to Rhaegar, not Viserys.
The wielder of Dawn is known as "The Sword of The Morning"
35:00 - Ser Willem Darry sailed Viserys and Daenerys to Braavos, not Pentos
53:26 - Ser Kevan Lannister is Tywin's brother, not cousin.
1:09:25 - Edmure Tully slander will not be tolerated. The show has ruined his character.
1:46:42 - Lady Brienne of Tarth is not a knight and therefore does not hold the title of "Ser"
3:14:32 - Cersei was not crowned Queen.
They forgot to mention Arya, Bran, and Sansa's story. Needs a redo but it is good production
@joeyken81 they recently did a 7hr video on the LOTR history. Very good as well
@@darius5396 Ha, that's insane! Gonna have to schedule time to watch that one =)
Edmure isnt incompetent
Robb was , because he didnt inform the Second most powerful person in his Kingdom of his plans
Hold Riverrun doesnt Mean let a Massive Army pass trough outside the Castle and while they Raze your lands
LOVE your compilations! Thanks For this
Man GoT is the best thing I've seen since LOTR, even though season 7-8 writing was rushed. Got to admit this is some good lore.
Great video.
The care and lore that went inot this fictitious history is remarkable. It never happened and never will, but it keeps millions enraptured.
here's to Team Black...
5:17 Varys with that Giga-Chad jawline lol 😂
The Iron Throne is really cursed, I guess.
Some of them involved in the Game gets a gruesome ending; Ned, Renly, Viserys, Balon, Robb, Catelyn, Joffrey, Tywin, and Kevan.
Some of them got disfigured by the Game; Tyrion, Jamie, Cersei, Margaery, Jon Connigton, Victorion, and Loras.
Tells a lot about what's coming for the other players: Stannis, Daenerys, Aegon, Mace Tyrell, Olenna, Euron, Littlefinger, and Doran.
and what about jon snow
@@Kj99x all of the Characters I've mentioned are directly involved in the game of thrones. Characters like Jon or Mance are more concerned about daily survival than playing the game. Also characters like Sansa or Arya are more of pawns than players.
@@LNGD_46 but jon surely will have greater role to come
@@Kj99x I believe Jon, Dany, and Tyrion are on their redemption arc. Jon trying to redeem himself as a bastard, Tyrion as a dwarf, and Dany as a missa (free slaves).
Thanks so much for this. Love when you guys put all episodes together!
This is perfectly entertaining. We need an indepth faithful animated adaptation from HBO (if the books are ever finished) That would be amazing, probably be like 17 seasons lol
I like the small touches in the 3D art like Daenerys' hair growing back lol
These videos are Golden Company
A masterful documentary on the War of the Five Kings.
“Plunged thousands of feet to their death” the wall is only 700ft lol
U guys are AWESOME even put in the dragon stone seige
All tho you made mistakes with the names I'm happy you made this
Damn good job! And done at much much lower cost that HBO series.
"Gods i was strong then! WINE!
This guy sounds a lot like Lil Kuriboh doing his Frieza. I can’t unhear it.
The Dragon, the Direwolf, the Lion and the Stag.
Old gods and new gods and Brothers in Black.
Though you may struggle with bow and with blade,
The Others are coming to take you away.
A king or a whore or a crow on the Wall,
There's no use in running cause Winter is Coming.
A comet of blood high up in the sky,
If you play this game you win or you die!
Very good analysis and more realistic than i first thought
The Arryn that was killed in King's Landing by the mad king wasn't Jon Arryn's son but rather his nephew. And Elia was Doran's sister not, daughter.
This video itself will be 10 years old by time we get Winds
Ahh man.. Im so Glad i found and subbed to this channel long ago... his was perfect... Thanx all of you that produce this great content.. & Happy Fathers dayy all!
7:42 correction: Elbert's Arryn was not a son to Jon Arryn but a nephew and the son of Ser Ronnel Arryn.
Hope it comes soon. Great video!
53:22 Kevan was not Tywin's cousin, he was his younger brother.
Great video man
thank you for your service
Full videos on Wizards and Warriors and Kings and Generals
Workrate unmatched
You should've brought this video out in 35 years just in time for the actual release of the book
Great job BUT you forgot to mention Arya training as a faceless assassin and her killing the Freys. This needs a re-upload
Awesome video. Been wanting this for a while. 7:46 just a friendly heads up. Elbert was Jon Arryn’s nephew I believe, as one of the main issues for Jon Arryn was the age and health of his heir, Robert.
Amazing as always, thanks for the video.
No mention of the purple wedding? Viper vs Mountain? Death of Tywin?
Well, it has almost been 13 years since Dance. Might as well catch up again.
This video is a Masterpiece! Deserves way more views 👏
Awesome
Another amazing video. These make me sleep so soundly
We got declassified aliens before winds of winter smfh
YES, THANK YOU FOR THIS
Out of respect for you guys, I like and leave a comment.
Wow. Amazing video. Thank you
I hope you continue doing more Cosmere lore vids
I wish winter would fucking come already
WINTER. IS. COMING.
……..unfortunately, Winds Of Winter is not 🙃😭
Idk why dorne wouldn’t have declared independence. No one can conquer and hold onto them. Robert would have been foolish enough to fight there
Especially when their only reason for ever joining in the first place was their marriage pacts with the Targaryens. So you would think after the Martells were massacred alongside their only connection to the seven kingdoms in the Targaryens, they would just refuse to acknowledge Baratheon rule and become independent.
They will Doran just waits for more of his enemies to kill themsleves in current wars
3:12:49 always wondered what Anders was up to since he started the mage rebellion!
Thank you for this content, plans changed today. LOL
Balam Industries sponsored field trip to Westeros
good video but you ignored dorne completely
This is excellent. Thank you
Wow. Have a day off today and you sir have just made it great ❤
That book series will never be completed.
