There are two chests that can be farmed using the Godsbane sword (acquired post dragon). these two chests also respawn every 7 game days. a game day may be passed by resting at an inn. however please note that the rest benches in Bitterblack Isle do not pass time so resting at one of these will only save your progress and update any character/pawn changes to the server. Gran Soren inn is where you'll likely have to go to pass in-game days.

Can confirm that the chest at 4:25 gives a lvl 3 weapon even after you killed awakened daimon (since he practically resets) Just make sure to rest at a inn for 2-3 days to get chests to respawn.
do you gotta do it on hard mode ?

I'm part of the new influx of players, didn't even know this game existed before the switch release, though I have it on Xbox. Anyways, thank you for this video. Hopefully I can get those damn Framae Blades and the greatsword for my pawn later tonight.

Thanks for showing this to make it easier to find these Weapon Level 3 items. But seriously the RNG SUCKS to get them. I got mostly the Rift Crystals on the second chest and it looked to be ongoing on site.
Not to mention you have RNG on top of the items to get the weapon you want. Trying to get the Daggers for my Strider, but got all of the Bows instead. Sigh... if I don't get any Daggers I'm resetting and switching to the other Vocations so I at least get something for them.

Nvm: it’s all random and rng based. It takes many tries to get the gear.

The first chest refuses to drop anything but a lvl 2 armor, life stone, wakeshard or if I’m super unlucky a string of the snake beast 🤦🏾♂️

I haven't completed the game and after defeating Gregori I'm completing bbi so if I use godbane would I die like this or I'll be with the last boss
That second chest gave me a lvl 3 weapon pretty easily at first but the 2nd time I farmed it, it took me an hour

Im super late to this game...but I finally got the bitter end longsword. The only chest that has weapon lvl 3 for this sword is after beating 2nd form Daimon
No, you can get Bitter End from any level 3 cursed weapon that was received from any chest. Beating Daimon in his second form simply guarantees that a level 3 cursed weapon will be found in the treasure room after his bossfight
Afroninja nah bro I spent hours trying to get that weapon from other chests and only got the same weapons. I only got bitter end after I beat 2nd form daimon and got weapon lvl 3 from that chest room.
Game Kang All my Bitter Ends were from chests found outside of his treasure room, so I know that isn’t the only place to get them

I got the Bitter End before even facing Daimon. It dropped when I farmed Death for XP. Gotta say, tho, killed Death at least 8 times and only one lvl 3 item.

2021. First chest has a lv3 weapon but it took way too many tries. Second i gave up

You mean the man eater? If that happens turn your character and camera away from the chest and then save the game. Afterwards godsbane without opening the chest and it shouldn’t spawn anymore.
Tons, it's only worth it till you get one you like, after that just farm Damon,
@@SantaTown interesting, I’ll try that asap. I haven’t gotten round to trying such runs because of this and when it becomes a lift stone it is every time or at least enough times that I quit gods baning. I wonder if this would fix that.

Yes, but you have to be very lucky, sometimes I spend 1 ~ 2 hours trying

I had the same experience... Kept trying and got the LVL 3 weapon eventually... I was about to give up when I happened.

Do you have to have Godsbane to use this method? Because I quit out of the game without saving. Then reloaded now it's only a trap chest
Most chests have a chance to be trap chests but Godsbane is faster than not having it. Also the game doesn't end unless you do a certain thing in the everfall, you can beat the final boss, get the Godsbane then go back to BBI with the Ferrystone afaik. The game only "ends" when you sacrifice 20 wakestones to make a portal.
Great video bruh. farming for that chest rite now. Think that chest is broken . Cause all I’ve gotten are rift crystals for the past 2 hours . I’ve killed all the enemies and still just rift crystals .smh....

Saying the first chest has piss-poor RNG is a FUCKING understatement.
I don't have a godsbane, so I just ran to the waterfall at the end of the level to kill myself. It takes me exactly 37 seconds to open the chest, die, then open it again.
I tried opening that chest, NON-STOP for just a shade under 40 minutes (guesstimating). Let's do some quick math here and...
1.62 tries per minute... 40 minutes 24.69(lol) tries... assuming I would have gotten it next try, let's call it 1/25 odds; that's 0.04 odds of getting it. And that's a GENEROUS assumption.
Zero... point zero.... FUCKING four....
Update: Just tried two more times. Still didn't get it. so the odds are less than zero point zero fucking four.
That is beyond dumb.
Then I take the one I got from chest 2 and purify it (50/50 odds of archistaff since i'm sorcerer) and I get the fucking pleb-staff.

Thanks for the reply, funny enough I got lvl 3 weapons from both chest on hard mode, took a little while though, rng has never been my friend.
On the first one I end up finding a stupid Maneater which doesn't even drop any bitterblack weapon lv3 from the second try onward...

Tell me, Dark, do you know another way to farm lots Rift Crystals? Nobody took my pawn, so I didn't gain anything. Should I keep facing che Dark Bishop or beating Cursed Dragons luring them with rancid bait?

principlé salti i have a silver forged Ascalon right now i somehow managed to kill offline ur dragon around level 96 as a warrior....a lot of screaming at my pawns did the trick haha managed to get the sword.

If you don't have godsbane you can't get BBI Weapon Lv3.
You got like 6% opening these chest for a lv3. Instead just farm Daimon will probably give a better proficent
