I just beat BBI for the first time on Switch and have a hard time getting enough RC to break the curse on the BBI stuff. I don’t think anyone even plays anymore on Switch.
Yeah, if it's hard to find someone to hire your pawn, the best thing you can do is finding Maneaters or Silver Knights. Just don't forget to save beforehand so you can restart the fight if they didn't drop the RC. Post-Daimon loots can still give you a decent amount of RC, like 50k for a stage (ex : Start at front gate, killing everything in each rooms till you kill Gazer)
Why not just glitch Daimons chamber and keep looting his 4 chest? I have so many BBI unpurified crap I can't give them away fast enough. Currently, I'm on my own quest to see how many RCs I can accumulate. Presently, I have over 77 Mil RCs. I'm trying to see if it maxes out at 999,999,99 mil like gold does. In any case, this is an awesome game!

Best to get lv 3 gear as well cause you can get the rung that prevents damp...well...only if your OUT IF WATER. Thing is its only a CHANCE once you first get it...same for the others cause you might as well save while you get the armor you pick up then again if you lift stone back your manual save could get written over as well so...if it's not the srmor you want before purifying it i guess you mjght as well save befire thar? If not gotten then godsbane then switch class and try them out???
Are you talking about those between balconies or the one with fallen column? If its the first one there are barrel on the right next to it, they are high enough to give you lift and you can clear that without double jump. You can also unequip your weapon and light attack mid air to give you additional 10 cm of lift.
First you need to defeat Damion’s first form and go back thru, just in case someone didn’t read the description Second I’m not sure but feel like you missed one Overall 👍 well done Might be mistaken but if remember correctly can get 6 or 7 armor and 2 weapons per run without sleeping.
Out of curiousity. Is this whole savescumming/minmaxing/etc. ordeal just for completionists? Seems like you've already beaten the game at this point, being in post-game and all. Or does this game have way more replayability potential than I though? I only started playing this game some days ago
Well, once you finish the game and start a new game plus the end game boss changes. If you are online a random set of player and his pawn will be selected as a seneshal. Or if you are offline the arisen and pawn you had back then will take the place of seneshal and pawn. While their set of skills changes and equipment changes, the seneshal hard "stats" stay the same each time. But the pawns stats are unaltered. so if you are unlucky, and you meat a seneshal who is a magic archer he will most likely get done in 2 hits but his pawn maybe be a level 200 min maxed warrior with with gold rarefied gear and iraklis and he will crit you for your full hp with a single pommel bash.
I'd say run through the base game once to get your best base game gear for your class, (post grigori weapons) and do everfall stuff for lots of base game XP and good loot. Once you have everything you're confident with, do the base game again to get it all dragon forged by grigori. (by then you should be around level 40 and above with good gear)
If you really want to challenge yourself, stock up on throwblasts. They are time consuming, but work on most things to early on. if there is an abyss and a humanoid monster, you can gain experience by yeeting it off the cliff. Those red barrels that explode can also be used strategically. Remember that Magic Archer's ricochet arrow is OP, as is the Magic Knight ability combination of ruinous sigil and magic cannon.
Autonomy augment damage boosts, pawns tend to be loot goblins (opening and looting chests before you can even see what’s in them) and if you’re killing while looting, no pawns means more xp. But most of all they just tend to get in the way and be annoying.
additionally, doing this route optimally involves beating Daimon. And pawns really suck at surviving Daimon. Even with the corresponding bestiary knowledge, they'll just walk away from the rift instead of hiding behind an object, and so will get sucked in 99% of the time anyway
I couldn't make that jump over to the other side of the room where the 2 cyclops are. Specifically where you jumped and mantled up the wall. I couldn't catch that ledge. I was also a bit frustrated by the lack of explanation on my first playthrough. Here's a short explanation with no spoilers. BBI storyline is separate from the main story. They give you hints but you'll understand what happens when you get the explanation during the Daimon fight and cut scene after the fight. If I were you I wouldn't farm until after you beat him the first time. I also did that and found out the hard way. On the other hand, because I did it all the hard way I found out about the game mechanics on my own and made it up to about lvl 100 by the time I was finished with both main and dlc stories.
Based on your health your around 200 if not 200. Unless people are to low to try killing Damon I find it the fastest way to farm for level 3 weapons/gear/armor. I realize this game at a certain point starting low level had a very generous experience system especially if you don't use pawns other than your main or no pawns at all. The quests alone will give you fast experience when you know the locations of every quests and or have plenty of portal Chrystals to set up for these quests. I was not happy with the game previously due to ignorance and complaints about how the game was driven especially on travel. I soon learned of my mistake and mastered this game with top efficiency. Now I'm not big on using exploits because you really don't need them to go from level 1 to 200. I've become so efficient at the game I can level from 1 to 200 in 2 days just playing casual and that includes leveling all vocations in a few hours. I'm no dummy when it comes to rpg games because I have 20 yrs in them including long hours in Everquest, DAOC and WOW. I don't generally play rpg games on consoles but got hooked on Skyrim when my niece brought her ps4 over and played it while I watched. I know many people have their dislikes about Skyrim or claim Dragons of Dogma is better, however that alone is a personal preference in what you want in a rpg game. I really don't care or mind if people want quick and easy or long and drawn out play because that is again a personal preference. Since the quick level method generally relies on the death exploit it also requires using a specific vocations such as a Ranger, Strider or Assassin which can utilize blast arrows. You can attempt using non archer vocations but you have to be very quick using throwblast if you are lucky and can get Vandals ring early on it will increase your projectile weapons nicely and speed things up, your best bets still the 3 standard archer vocations. I generally level my character up to 200 and quick run Bitterblack Isle on levels I can manage until I get to a comfortable level and then progress to the final boss around level 125 which will quickly finish you up to level 200 not to mention you load down on level 3 weapon, armor,, gear and so on quickly. I generally make 5 runs then turn them in with appropriate vocation formation to get the desired results. 1 in 5 will always have what you want most of the time as long as your current gear is enchanted gold and a higher chance if your vocations are maxed. I've tested this out starting new games and experimenting over a period of time and the higher chances are predetermined by that ratio. The only thing I wished this game had was a game save for old data where you can create a new game but still can go back to an earlier play throughout. I found out the hard way that if you start a new game it wipes out your last play through instead of entering game plus which you must select continue in order to keep playing the same character after beating the game. Also always complete Bitterblack Isle before finishing Everfall, just my advice for new players. Fun game once you learn the ropes, hope DOD 2 if it comes out outshines this game.

@@parkmojo6168 i usually fight the drake near shadowfort, after my level go between 60-70 i fight grigori/the dragon then repeat the game, when repeat i play bitterblack isle, you can use strider and equip blast arrow if you having trouble fighting them, but need to manage it wise because need to spend some gold for blast arrow

If you mean the prisoner gorecyclops, believe you can get bbi lvl 2 armor and weapons but not lvl 3

That jump by chained prisoner is impossible

It seems easy because his character is really tall, but is doable with a smaller one.
there's only way to do it with a double jump, but you can also jump by picking up momentum before, if you start running before the jump

Lol! I have well over 23,000 Hrs on this game so I'd say that it's quite replayable.
When is a good time to enter BBI? Whenever i go i do little to no damage to the monsters. Am i just too low level at 20?

Once you have all of that I highly recommend doing bbi in normal mode or easy mode for your first playthrough.

I've tried your suggested course with saves and quits, maybe 50-60 times, all I get is weapons and armor lv2. NO LEVEL3!!!!!!!
Have you beaten Daimon? If you haven't you're still in the "easy" version of BBI & will only get Lv1 & Lv2 stuff for the most part

We can get higher hp when we started our game by using warrior/fighter, now i get my hp around 4100, and change to strider
