What a lovely video. Along with then Brockhurst Ward Councillors Mike Russell & Linda Barker I was pleased to play a small role in saving The Hermitage from development when I was Gosport Council Leader in the 1990s but the real credit must go to the amazing Pat Edwards, her mother Olive, and their wonderful team of volunteer helpers.
I spend most of my childhood here, Hugh, son of the then owner was a friend, we were there day and night and in all that time never saw a Ghost although we did our best to perpetuate the myth using white sheets and cycle lamps...
