Just a little shortcut I use, after I print my sublimation on easi subli, I let my image sit about 8 hours and then I put on the clear heat transfer mask and then do my cutting on the silhouette. It has definitely cut out the smearing and roller lines on my images and you don’t have to wait 24 hours before the sublimation ink dries. Another thing to try is move your rollers to the outsides on each side of the silhouette machine and it’ll keep the roller lines off your images as well.
Ok I could see the frustration in your face and actions yet you kept it smooth and nice. Priceless. Your a class act! I know you wanted to toss that in the trash and end this video early and start over. LOL But you kept it movin! Now I know it happens to the best of us.
I am 1974 and I don't need 24/7 call help available. And I have 2 reasons for it. A) people deserve to have normal life and not work only. B) Customers pay for it but it's hardly reflected in salary of people working there. Thanks you for the video with all the obstacles as those will happen and it's good to know how to avoid them. I had the same issue with not reading registration marks. The solution is decrease the lighting. The light on your cameo cannot read when there's too much light on cutting mat project. Since I have decrease my lighting my cameo reads registration marks everytime.

We've got the vinyl process learned. But all images cannot be done with vinyl. If I wanted to print a photograph of a family on a shirt ( or something with lots of details and colors) while using silhouette cameo and sawgrass sg800, how would that process work? I know how to open the image with silhouette and do the necessary steps to send it through the sawgrass. But after that part, I am stuck. I know the sawgrass can only print on polyester shirts, so what's the best way to use both the cameo and the sawgrass to print the image on a cotton tshirt? Please help! Thank you.

The moment you press send the machine will start cutting. You haven’t load anything because its curing under your press. Load your paper before sending.

I am having the worst time trying to transfer the cut vinyl image to the mask backing sheet. It doesn't want to transfer no matter how hard I squeegee it. Do you have any problems with the mask film?
I got a 10 pack of the Siser EasySubli 8.4x11 with the 8x10 subli mask. I print, cut, and then weeded the image on my machine, then tried to burnish the reversed image on to the clear mask sheet. It didn’t want to come loose from the backing sheet on to the mask film. It’s almost as if it isn’t sticky enougn to adhere to it. I wasted 2 sheets so far. A little frustrating. Some have reported having issues with a “bad batch”. 😱

Also, if you want bigger designs for bigger shirts you may want to look at the sawgrass1000. It is pricey but it prints up 11x17 vs 8x11 with sawgrass500 which is the newest one.Not sure if they nake sawgrass400 anymore

She always do that lol I think she gets it confused with the Cricut. When you hit send on the cameo it starts cutting immediately. On the Cricut its different. Everything comes from the computer with Cameo.
The Silhouette was messing up because it had nothing to cut. You kept sending it to cut on the Silhouette, but nothing was loaded to cut. Oops! The easiest fix is don't send it to cut on the Silhouette until the easySubli is dry and placed on a mat shiny side down and inserted into the Silhouette - then Send to Cut from the software. I learned this lesson after ruining a couple of mats. Oops! lol!

why you pressed "send" to the cameo without putting something in the cameo ?

I’ve actually figured out that a dehumidifier works to help dry it as well

Certified sublimation is permanent, it’s due that adheres to polyester fabrics

I found that having it set to Flock blade 3 speed 8 and force 15 works PERFECT. the first time was a disaster for me.

how does the easysubli holdup compared to regular sublimation directly pressed on a shirt?

I agree about the mask. It wont pick up the image. Not sure why this is but its not just you. I end up havein to peel it and lay by hand every time.

GordenFoundation If she wants to be able to do 3X sizes or larger, I would recommend the SG800 or convert an Epson 7710 for under $400 .
I just got my sawgrass sg800. When I try to cut with my Silhouette it doesnt cut right.
For this design, did you use Siser Sawgrass inks or just the Sawgrass HD ink that comes with the Sawgrass 400?
