Hey all. My company enrolled me to join an instructor led course. They then gave us access to the course material. Also you can YT the entire course, I used it as a resource as well. Paid for Udemy practice tests and passed

System administrator and cloud administrator doesn't show that you specialize in a particular product, but Azure administrator does. Target jobs with Azure in the job title to get better pay.

@@papbalgobin1 John Savill's masterclass really helped with understanding. Also I used acloudguru for training. I spent more time on the networking than any other section.
Just to be upfront, I have an IQ of 150+ and learn extremely quickly. I've always been pretty far ahead of my peers in any learning environment.

Help! I passed Az900 in March last year and followed up with Az104 in December, I just got a shitty pay rise and got shoved into an IT helpdesk lead role where I suspect that I'll never get the right exposure to Azure like I want to. I'm very unhappy about this but I don't know what direction to take. My background is mainly on premises technologies but my company recently migrated all our servers to the cloud which prompted me to start learning the stuff.
Should I sit and wait and if there are no Azure projects coming my way before I leave? Or should I just start looking elsewhere for Azure related roles now?
Better to look for a better opportunities as there are ample options available out there in IT.

I work as network admin in large place. mostly switching. was gonna do ccnp encor but I think I will get this first because one of our sites has Azure and we may be getting it soon. Was gonna go AWS but I think this is a good way to start. Just wondering if I need the Azure fundamentals first?

Honestly, if you know networking very well (which I don’t doubt you do), you will likely pass. My networking isn’t that great but I passed with 2-3 weeks of studying for this exam. Loads of questions are on storage, networking, VMs and Role based access control.
Hence you could probably skip fundamentals like I did
I would study AZ900 first if you're not familar with Azure.

I don’t have a degree in it but I started studying az-900 and planing to take the az-104 after that I just want to know if I can get a job with only these two certifications
This is my personal opinion people really need to go if they can get a good practical bachelors degree in computer science and then specialise with specific technologies afterwards that’s the best way just don’t rely on vendor certifications without good experience they’re not worth it otherwise. Most importantly learn the concepts and the theory behind it the certificate itself it’s not really worth anything without it.
I have prepared and completed the azure admin certification. But i am not sure how to prepare azure admin jobs as i dont have any handson?

I am just a computer science graduate, I want to pursue my career in cloud admin and keep growing but I don’t want to have coding in my career domain. I will be relocating to the Netherlands, but I don’t know how am I supposed to start a career in cloud normally people ask for experience of 1-2 years of experience!
Plus I am afraid of the language barrier i.e dutch! I just don’t know where do I start from?

If you want to start a career in Cloud Admin you might want to first consider doing the CompTIA Cloud+ certification: www.comptia.org/certifications/cloud
After that you can decide whether you want to pursue your Cloud Career with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
