Wao. this video has inspired me more, after years of graduating from the university as computer scientist without certification and don't know where to start. with this video I now have a starting point. thank you so much bro.
So happy to come across your page. I definitely need a mentor like you. I badged a cloud computing certificate from lms terraq online school, and after my certification I still felt I need more certification since I was unable to get intern because I don’t know my way around getting intern jobs. I then registered on LinkedIn and started my Az900 certification lesson on Microsoft learn. I am done with the module today, and I was awarded badge to share on my LinkedIn at each end of the modules quiz. I would be glad if you can take me through this journey. God bless you.
As a 25 year old guy who has struggled badly over the past years and who lacks meaningful job experience, I’ve been thinking about trying to get into IT support as it seems most approachable and realistic for me. I’ve acquired some courses on udemy go get me started and when I’m finished with those, my plan is to work through the google it support course on coursera and then finally the comptia A+. It feels daunting and a bit scary, as I don’t know if I’ll be able to get a job after that, but I hope things work out. On another note. This field seems incredibly broad, with huge growth opportunities if one chooses to dive deeper into it. I’ve also been hearing about cloud and how it is the future.
Waaaaw thanks for sharing this! Best of luck with your journey in Tech I’m sure you’ll do great! Yes Cloud is definitely the future and more like the present these days because every single company is using it! And pretty much every person with a phone is using it in some way! So it’s definitely a massive area and if you develop your skills in this area you’ll be in high demand! 🙏🏾🤌🏾👌🏾
Wait a minute man…. I’m happy for you an all but AZ900 is pretty much a cake walk and a lot of that I do now at my job (Network Analyst). Wouldn’t you suggest a AZ104 at the minimum to be an Azure Administrator?!?!?!?
It feels like there is a lot of debate on what is needed to land a job. Everyone speaks so matter a fact but it seems like it just depends on location and the company your applying too.
Hey man, by your accent you sound like you're based in the UK? How's the demand for cloud roles over there. I'm currently studying for the AWS Solutions Architect Associate cert. But I'd like to believe there's plenty of overlap in cloud if I decide to do anything related to Azure later on
Hey, Yeah there’s definitely a lot of cloud roles available in the uk! 🇬🇧 once you’ve got the skills you’ll be in high demand! Yeah definitely AWS is great 👌🏾
Really, waw that’s terrible. This is not my experience you’ll be surprised how willing people are to help and advise you! You don’t have to ask people specifically ‘can you mentor me’ for them to give advice and encouragement on how you can progress your career. Just ask for advice! 💁🏾♂️
@caleboni.certified definitely we all have different experiences. Vividly, I have two guys now, after letting them know . They still acting busy .I know will get it right with or without them. Just getting the right resources
@@Seyinicez Yeah you’ll get there regardless, and there’s more people that can help elsewhere! Try reaching out to afew people on LinkedIn and ask them about their career experiences
That’s a tough question! I was stuck between those two at one point also but I went with AZ-104 because I did research and it seemed like it was better to learn how to create resources before learning how to secure them in the AZ-500! I still haven’t done AZ-500 yet 😂 but AZ-104 definitely helped my career!
If you have a good understanding of cloud/azure already then going straight to associate certs like azure admin makes sense if you’re a beginner without much cloud knowledge then it’s best to start with fundamentals 💁🏾♂️
I got my az900 cert for about two months now but it's so difficult to get a junior cloud admin role here in Nigeria.. I'm now studying for az104 regardless
Yeah I can imagine it being a lot more difficult in Nigeria! I think it will take more determination as well as networking to get into those roles in Naija! Congrats on AZ-900 and Best of luck on AZ-104 🇳🇬
@@caleboni.certified yes.. you're very right at the 'Networking' aspect.. I was advised to grab knowledge on Networking, windows server , and PowerShell fundamentals..

Thank so much bro! 🤝🏾😁
Is there an expert level cert like CCIE if I go down the cloud path that is technical? I don’t like coding by the way

Thanks so much with my degree and other certifications + AZ-900 it was enough for me to get in but yeah having AZ-104 would definitely help aloooot!

how much was your salary when you started as a junior cloud admin and how much did you earn when it was raised?
