Spot on character choice for Oblivion. Spoilers below, for those who haven't yet had the chance to enjoy the glory that is Oblivion: Martin is honestly one of the best characters in the entire series, let alone the game he's in. Had a great character arc, fantastic voice work from Sean Bean himself, all of his side dialogue was worth listening to, you could even deliver DAEDRIC ARTIFACTS to the guy, with him him having completely unique dialogue for each, and to top it all off, he didn't overstay his welcome in the story. Dying a hero to the whole world, immortalized in stone as a dragon of legend.
@@banan5688 The literal only character I remember from the entirety of skyrim is the vampire lady, and I never played the DLC, it's just from people making porn of her.
@@banan5688 Lucien Lachance? Haskil? Baurus? Agronak the Grand Champion of The Arena? The goofy Adoring Fan? Sheo-fucking-gorath? There's several memorable characters in the game outside of Martin, he's just THE most memorable
Caius won, no contest. He's jacked, he's loaded up on skooma, he's got the entire South Wall with their own stories about him on the sugar. He got out of game expositional writing about him by devs that actually gives him an iota of personality which completely mogs the amount of effort Bethesda puts into any individual character anymore, and he had more dialogue than entire factions in Skyrim.
I wonder to this day if they *would* have preferred giving characters far more dialogue than they did after Morrowind but couldn't thanks to paying for voice work, or if fully-voiced characters was the cop-out they wanted.
Martin's tragic and all, but I know some of y'all smoked Caius's skooma and cried yourself to sleep in his bed later after he left. I might just be projecting though.
That night, The Nerevarine kicked in the door of his room to celebrate, only to find the man on the bed was an Imperial soldier whose barracks had been destroyed. He was cute, though, so after having her way with him, she got the hell out, leaving an empty Skooma bottle as a note. As she walked along the Dam in the night, she felt drunk, content, and happy to be alive. Which to her, was the whole point of it all.

You know you've watched a particular edit too many times when you were taken off guard by K's screaming *not* being followed up with the solo from "Let It Happen"
Caius or Martin...hmm. That's a tough one. I haven't touched that Skyrim DLC (saving it for another time to keep the game somewhat fresh for experiences.) Nor am I fond of vampire chicks so I can't say anything for her.
I love the Skyrim one. I absolutely love Serana’s character complexity (with AND without the mods) that I have her as my 24/7 companion as a “blood sister” since my character is already married (to Vilkas). And I do agree with Patrick, Serana really is beautiful
