Wow, What an amazing place, It's on my bucket list. I would definitely love to go to China, and see it in person! They're so far ahead than the West! 😂❤❤
Wow the terra cotta army is amazing. I have seen pictures of it of course- but something about the way you captured it here really impressed. So cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much Rachael! 🙏😊 It was such a quick trip to Xi’an and so little time. I will have to return again. It was really cool to see the terracotta warriors in person….its hard to imagine how many statues were made and buried with the emperor.
lovely to see the video, thanks for sharing and introduce this place, I'm from Xi'an and actually the original name of the city was called Chang An which is meaning long-term peace and stability.
You can take the subway Nr9 to Huaqingchi, then change to bus to Terracotta Warriors. In fact, the subway can be build to the Terracotta Warriors, but for the purpose of protecting cultural relics, it is only build to Huaqingchi. Who knows what other artefacts are underground?
China is a huge country and every famous tourist sites will have crowds . Its normal. The monk whomwent to India during the Tang dynasty is the key figure in tne novel Journey to the West,,whuch is basis of Wukong game.
@At Home Anywhere, to be exact and precise, the spelling should be Xi'an or Xi'An, where the apostrophe denotes a glottal stop, making sure whoever enunicate the spellling as Xi and An, distinctly, without any glide from Xi into An, making it errouneous soundling like "shian".
Thanks for the clarification. I just realized I spelled it correctly on the picture and in the description, but not in the title. I am very interested in language and translation. Thanks again.
@@AtHomeAnywhere , Thanks for the reply. A related example is the lunar module that China sent to the moon -- Chang'e, which is a bit more difficult for most people who isn't equipped with the proficiency of the Chinese language. Again this apostrophe also denotes a glottal stop, making Chang and E two distinct syllables, where the E does NOT really exist in English. A close approximate for this E is something like a schwa, like the "a" in the initial "a" in "away." While the initial "a“ in "away" is never stressed, yet the "e" in Chang'e takes on full strength as "Chang" when eunicated -- simply put this ”e" is a stressed schwa (NOT pronouced as a long E in English).
I highly recommend you to watch the Chinese drama series Qin Dynasty Epic available for free at TH-cam. It depicts the biography of Qin Shihuang, aka Ying Zheng, his personal birth name.
5000 years? The earliest dynasty with archeological proof as backup is the Shang - 1600 to 1046 BC. The debatable/mythical Xia dynasty is thought to only be from 2070 BC

Thanks for the information 🙂 I understand why they don't want to build too close to the cultural relics.
awww its so awesome
Thank you so much! I love this city!
Xian 西安 also known as Zhangan 長安 surged up as the capital of western Han Dynasty in 206 BC, in other words, it became more important since then.
@@winglaileung I really wanted to visit again this year, but I won’t be able to. Hopefully next year ☺️
