Your videos are so much more relaxing than other golf channels. Everyone else is trying to force me to buy something or trying to force some miracle swing tip on me. I'd rather just watch a normal guy play golf.

I love golfing in that type of weather. It can be a real peaceful cause no one is out. No hurry..just play. Good stuff. I played today in about 35 degree weather this morning calm day and now it's snowing with two inches of snow on the ground so far. Lol. Keep up the great golf content bud.

Another great round in sub-optimal conditions. Some cracking shots, James: the chips on 5 and 11, the approach on 8, tee shots on 12 and 15, plus some decent putting. I'd be terrified of hitting a sheep/car/dog walker! And well done to the green staff for having greens in as good nick at this time on year.
Cheers Malcolm, I was very happy with the round overall. The scorecard at Holywelll states 'golfers should exercise extreme caution before playing their shots at all times.' So I think a dog walker or 2 must have been hit in the past. The greens were definitely above average for winter golf in the UK, it was surprising but most welcome! Thanks for watching

Congrats on the birdie...Winter golf has its challenges, course looks tricky. Could have shaved a stroke here and there with course knowledge/management. But overall not too bad, putting was key in this round. Keep it up mate! Another enjoyable vid to watch.

If I had your approach shots your iron shots my putting and my driving I’d be a force to be reckoned with lol I’ve been playing for 3 1/2 months and I can drive it 220-255 down the center almost everytime. I can sink about 95% of my putts that are within 16 feet but I can’t hit my irons or hybrids worth a damn. Keep it up it’s been fun watching your journey

Hi James, Really enjoying your content. I lived in North Wales up until recently and have played many of the same courses. I was just wondering, what app is it you use to shot trace? I'd really appreciate some pointers or even a tutorial video please - i'm trying to record some of my rounds to just share with friends. I downloaded 'Shot Tracer' on Android yesterday and had a go out on course but it didn't seem very intelligent in terms of it's tracking and recognition. For example i hit a draw into wind yesterday and the ball travelled out to the right of the fairway, curving round and finishing on the left - but the app had it down as a straight block out to the right.
Great round - the journey continues. Big ask to break you scoring record on that course; it looks like one of them that looks easy but difficult once you play it.
Another great round. Congratulations on the score. From the camera angle on hole 12 it looks like you had to get the tee shot airborne quickly. Were those bushes as close as they looked?

You hit pretty close to what I do. In the cold 139 is an 8 for me. Pretty sure you're also capable of that. A few range trips with a launch monitor would probably help drop you into single digits much sooner.
Always plenty of room for improvement that's why we love golf. I can now hit the 22° 190-200 yards on the range but it's not dialled in yet. I'm looking forward to improving the tee to green game this spring. Thanks for watching
Yellows are right for me right now. It has actually helped my game a lot as being a short hitter it puts insane pressure on the short game and putting! :-) Having said that I do plan to take more lessons and improve my tee to green game in the spring. Thanks for watching
@@notaperfectgolfer3489 Oh I can definitely agree with that. Your short game is easily single digit handicap level. Most people have the opposite problem to you which is a good problem to have. I don't know your flexibility level, but I'm certain you could at least add 30-40 yards.

You're progressing really well at the moment and your short game is consistent. try practicing your iron play as you need your approach shots to be more consistent to lower your score. I take my irons to the driving range rather than my actual driver - it helps a lot.

very nice. ball flight getting straighter.. may i ask, arent you able to make a longer backswing? I think you loose a lot of distance because of it, none the less it is very impressive how much clubhead speed you can create with such a short backswing (like Matt Kuchar or Tony Finau). 10 minute stretching routing twice a day helped me get way more flexible and make a longer backswing.

may i ask, arent you able to make a longer backswing? I think you loose a lot of distance because of it, none the less it is very impressive how much clubhead speed you can create with such a short backswing (like Matt Kuchar or Tony Finau). 10 minute stretching routing twice a day helped me get way more flexible and make a longer backswing.
