I literally watched the two coaching videos tmm made before i enterd the ranked matches and honestly, it was way easier than i thought i glided form beginner to dominator in one session which is very amazing compring to my tekken 7 experience so i highly recommend this if you are beginner or intermediate like me. id argue bryan is pure tekken as well fun to play as and not a traditional character. Without heat bryan down to the bone is still his t7 counter part where hes just a strong but honest character no bs

About Victor: if they didn't fix it, his basic throws have 14 frames window for breaking instead of the usual 20 frames, his 1+2 break has 20 frames window though so 6 frames less to react to his basic throws, if you are having trouble even if you are good at breaking throws, this is the reason. Idk if that is intended or a bug but he has a pretty big advantage on his basic throws compared to the other characters.

Great vid as always mainpapa some the best tips i can give against Victor ( he said these in the vid but seriously this will help a lot) all of his lows start at -13 on block and only get higher never let him get away with a blocked low also you’re correct on sidestepping it eats him up his homing moves leave him very minus so make sure you guys are stepping like your fighting tekken 7 noctis launching or getting a good punish on his lows and take your turn back after you block a homing move these should help tame some of the more bunga victors good luck on your tekken journey fellas don’t forget to lab

The game put me at Brawler on day 1 and everyone I matched with was way above my skill level lol. Took a beating to get to Warrior then somehow got promoted 1 above Warrior. No chance am I gonna retain that rank though
Can someone pls tell me what my priority should be in terms of learning fundamentals? I’m a noob yellow and from watching these video it seems that i need to learn the below from most important to least Frame trapping > movement > punishing > etc Is this right?
These are good way and a first step but take your time in movement you will thank me cause in this game movement forms 80 to 90 present of your gameplan
My biggest problem is when I run to an aggressive player who is all up in your your face. I want to fell out and see what going on and I can’t get any space or any offense going and I don’t know what to do. By the time I get something, I fuck up my inputs and I can’t get any momentum
I’m kind of stuck in destroyer. Still don’t know how to properly punish lows with Yoshi and I don’t duck highs. I can’t really think of any other weak points besides that. I’m struggling lol

It doesn't take years to whiff punish with ewgf. A year of dedicated Mishima gameplay and I promise you could ewgf standing still when you want to. I think the hard work is put into the movement + ewgf. CREATING the whiff into immediate ewgf is YEARS of intuition, knowledge, and THEN execution.

I play in wifi, but I'm close to the router, on 5G and it's very stable, those freezes never happened on my part, but I have played a couple matches where other Wifi players had horrible connection it's awfull
I guarantee you 100% that you're actually a big part of the reason your online games are lagging. 5G, close to the router, none of that matters in the slightest. What you need to do is get an ethernet cable and stop subjecting others to your packet loss connection. A 3 bar wired connection is still a lot better than a 5 bar wifi connection due to the inherent stability.

I punish everything with my 10f. How do you know which moves are 12-14f punishable, and especially 15f+ launch punishable?
