The fact that Mel Gibson confirmed in an interview he only had 22 days to filmed this movie definitely explains a lot.
Why 22 days?
Huh? Why only 22 days?
@@mikeramos91Marky Marks busy schedule 😭
The fact Mel Gibson was involved at all, I knew this would suck. Used to make good movies, then he went bad.
Awww hell nah
You know this movie is bad when 3C doesn't title, "Flight Risk Is..."
Was bouta say this lmao
Or maybe because he titled it I saw my first bad movie of 2025
Bot comment
He said a movie is bad a lot that I forgot he titles his videos with an end of …😭 but yeah I agree
You know you're a sheep if you don't go and watch it to make up your own mind and have fun.
You always gotta tread lightly durning January releases 😂
That hair traumatized me
I never saw any of the trailers or promotional material for this movie, I just went and saw it blind last night with some friends. I still vividly remember my gobsmacked expression when I first saw Mark Wahlberg’s thinning hair. 😂
One other movie Mark plays a villain character was in the movie Fear. Which honestly was a really good movie and Mark's performance in it was very creepy.
It was genuine .
True it was good
That call and response edit you did actually felt more natural than what these studios do.
1:25 It's because he's not supposed to be Mark Wahlberg. I wish more actors would put half as much effort in trying to disappear in to their roles. Like getting over their insecurities with their aging faces and shave off their stupid fvcking beards for once! Or at least do something different. Like a mustache, or a soul patch, or goatee or something. I'm not the biggest Mark Wahlberg fan. But kudos to him for actually trying to portray a different character.
That's a good way to look at it, I am seeing it tomorrow and forming my own opinion
Real. If A24 made this with another actor everyone would be praising them for such a bold choice
No matter what Mark Wahlberg does he is not a character actor, nor a chameleon type actor. His acting isn’t to the level of that. Why do you think most of his films he essentially plays himself in an action or comedy. He only has a select few films where he did breakout and do something strong and performance heavy. Him shaving his head and throwing on a bad southern accent is not him trying to disappear into a role. It’s just another gimmick to get his fans to purchase a ticket, because they see him physically different and not looking like himself. 😂
@@JoeGrizz1y I'm not a fan of his. I didn't call him a character actor. Nor did I praise his filmography. I praised his effort, in this film. Specifically juxtaposing the criticism of him being bald. To other actors who won't even shave their beards. This looked like a bad movie that I was never going to watch. From the moment I saw the trailer. The fact that a crap actor and even crappier person, Mark Wahlberg, can shave the top of his head for a crap movie. I think it only bolsters my argument. That some of these other actors out there in films with major franchises. Should be willing to shave their beards. Or at least change up their facial hair somehow. So I'm not paying to watch them pull a Mark Wahlberg. And just be themselves in another crazy scenario. Even if they are a good actor. It's like watching someone who has to constantly wear a mask. Try to act as if they're not themselves. A person who has to constantly wear a mask.
I cannot take Mark Wahlberg seriously with that balding hairstyle
LMAO Chris really doesn’t like this film when he straight up says it in the title 😭
Low-key if there’s a sequel you gotta do that haircut from the thumbnail
there will never be a sequel for this movie. I assure you
Flight Risk 2: A Riskier Flight
@@Darkside_Eminem Flight Risk 3: risky business class
@morow28 Flight Risk 4: Risks Of Turbulence
Don't matter what the caption is. As long as 3C uploads it I'm watching it.
The budget was damn near 30 million for this movie and was filmed in a prop plane for an hour and a half. The movie could’ve been filmed in 3 days tops🤣🤣🤣
Bummer, I was really hoping this would be for Mark Wahlberg what Uncut Gems was for Adam Sandler .. A fresh performance that took us by surprise
0:37 Actually Cris i clicked on this because I watch all your videos!
Same
Same
I NEVER miss a 3C FILMS video 🔥
Valid
Same here waiting on the live stream
I was going to take my dad to see this not knowing much about it for his 60th Birthday, I want to thank you Chris for saving me from ruining his day 😭
I would of taken my son to the orphanage right after if he took me to see this 😂
Great decision bro, it is an utter pile of shit.
Ur titles are getting creative and I love it
I'm seriously starting to feel like Malk Walnerg's agent must hate him or have some sort of vendetta against his career considering how many eh or bad or even awful films the dude ws been in
I don’t know 🤷♂️ the movies might be bad but he’s still making bank. Didn’t that movie he made with Tom holland make decent money
@@edercortes1960 Yeah, Uncharted made over 407 million against a 120 million budget.
Also, the fact he been in a fricking prayer app ads on TH-cam. Makes me burst out laughing everytime I see it.
3:45 I liked his role in Predators.
He also comes out in Sanic 3 i think 🤔
Spot on rating for the “Casual” score, love your videos so much!
that thumbnail KILLED me
I think topher grace was better off as venom in Spider-Man 3
Your videos are fun to watch I like how you explain things in the films you review happy I discovered your channel a couple years back awesome video
Amazing vid as per usual a little disappointed you didn't do the review in a bald cap haha
Mel Gibson and his boys ain't bringing Hollywood back to the "glory days" with this garbage
To be fair, Gibson had about 20 days to film so I don’t think anyone could’ve made this movie good
Lets hope they help hollyweird and those freaks. He’s one of the only normals left
Oh lighten up, this movie was hilariously fun to watch
Gibson has a track record of making great films, yet he makes one bad film, that was never in a million years going to be good, and this is how you react. Can’t wait to get all the fake puppets out of hollyweird
@@Jdn__0001whiplash was made in 19 days
I was expecting Chris to review this with a bald cap on
Thumbnail LMAO 🤣
I couldn't with the hair cut 😂😂
I can't believe Chris shaved his head just for the thumbnail... It's is not the best look... It's
"Cinema"
This might be the worst film of 2025 already, and it isn’t even February
No gonna lie, 2:30 caught me off guard, but in the most hilarious way😂
I don't know, I kind of had fun with it. I think the movie is supposed to be kind of a silly 90's throwback thriller. The first half was a little slow in spots, but I thought the second half really picked up & at the end of the movie I was pleasantly surprised. If you like campy type 90's thrillers, you might actually dig it.
Same!! I had a lot of fun with it too. I think people had their expectations too high based on Mel's other films that were all these big Epics
This movie was just pure well made dumb entertainment... and it did just that entertain me.
You’re not alone, I thought it wass a real fun watch. Some goofy moments sure, but It was intense and decently thrilling.
That ai photo of you didn't help the buzz light year history 😂😂
1:40 hacksaw ridge was one of my all time favorite movies and my favorite movie alongside enemy at the gates , glory and saving private ryan
I was shocked when i read in the credits " directed by mel gibson"
Funny how we agree on so much of the same things. Right from the opening scene I thought “wow this looks so nice but almost kinda fake” and compared to the rest of the movie🤣 it makes sense now that you mentioned AI. My bf also fell asleep for part of the movie that I said to him afterwards “this feels like a Netflix movie, like it should’ve been released on Netflix instead” and he agreed💀
Love the thumbnail and the trailer when we seen it❤
very interesting featurette to have a comedic "behind the director's chair" bit
Kinda wish I didn’t see this title.. I’m going to see this tonight. Wanted to avoid any spoilers but it’s hard when it just pops up in your notifications. :/
What did you think?
@@sashana8310was so over exaggerated and a cheese fest. But I had such a fun popcorn time.
@@Trulybas glad you had a fun time it definitely doesn’t look like the sort of film to take itself too seriously. I’ve been meaning to see it so hopefully will at some point
2:32 - not gonna lie…. That pic… is nice😩👍🏽
Yeah just mention his movies he directed but leave out that he Directed the Passion of the Christ.
Day 151 of asking Cris to bring back "Reading negative reviews on movies I love"
I believe in you
One day trust
Give it a rest. Geez.....
I think it’s been longer than 151 days at this point but 151 days of disliking your comment.
Thanks 3C for saving me from a hour and thirty minute movie that probably needed to go straight to DVD. Speaking of Mark, when is the next live-action Transforms movie coming out?
The thumbnail is peakkkkkk Chris 😂🔥😭
Has anyone seen the budget for this movie? It was made for 10 million dollars and it looks like a 40 million dollar action thriller from the 90s. Flight Risk will make money. I think this is quite an achievement, regardless of what people think.
I personally cant wait to see it. I trust in Mel. I hope he gets to make Lethal Weapon 5.
BTW, to me Hacksaw Ridge was the best WW2 movie ever made.
Dog man boutta be awesome
This has nothing to do with dog man, tho…
Off topic, but hey why not
@MikeOkkismal yeah lol, I’m just saying it bcz most people say that January movies suck
@ makes sense
Flight Risk? Sounds risky, all in the title! Thanks 3C for taking the bullet!🤣
I legit had that same reaction with the Carry-On stuff. I said to myself, the tone and vibe reminds me of Carry On, but the parts I didn't necessarily like about it, how the film ends and Mark Walberg's jokes.
AI Chris will be in my dreams tonight
9:48 Is it just me or does that poster just make the movie look like it's going to be serious and dark?
Mel Gibson also got his other Oscar for directing the most controversy but well directed phenomenal film Passion of Christ. It's no main reason why Mark Wahlberg character is bald because people go through that genetically or when they get older 😂 lol....I am a huge fan of Michelle Docky especially in The Gentleman where I thought her being in this movie would be great, but it won't stop me for seeing this AT HOME 😂 lol!!!
I think because I grew up on this style of action film in the 90s , I can't resist seeing this . Even with very low expectations and seeing the whole film in the trailer .
Hey Chris any news or updates on Chronicle 2?
Chris, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check out Presence if its screening near you. I'm not sure if the audience is there for it, but I personally would love to hear what you think about it.
3C films putting the rating review spoiler in the title.... lol
Why would it be strange for Mark Walberg to be bald in a movie? Isn't that like asking why Bruce Willis has hair in a movie? They are playing a character, you don't need an explanation for something so trivial.
… my dude… chill
It just doesn't suit him
Im still going to experience it in .. 4dx
Same don't know about 4dx but still hope you enjoy!
3:25 Cris, my man BlacKkKlansman? He was great in that. Also his show Home Economics was solid.
Also his role was very very small and you can hardly recognize him but Topher was also the Mormon guy with glasses in HERETIC. Very very small minor role but he nailed it 😂.
Na first I have to hear that weird new Bruno Mars song now I have to see Mark Walberg be a bald psycho making Diddy jokes 😂
AI Chris about to make me act up
Yikes, my first bad movie of 2025 was Wolf Man. So maybe I got it easy rather than watching Flight Risk.

Thank Goodness I Wasn’t The Only One I Thought This Movie Was Terrible By Far The Most Enjoyable Part Of The Movie For Me Was Mark Whalbergs Performance His Performance Was Very Over The Top And Hilarious Besides That The Movie Was Very Boring, I Found The Acting Too Be Bad Unfortunately Especially From Topher Grace And I Actually Like Topher Grace As An Actor, The Dialogue And How The Movie Was Written Was Also Terrible. And Yeah This Film Is My Pick For The Worst Movie Of The Year So Far For Me. Great Reviews As Always Man
I walked out so fucking fast😂😂 shit was ass
The Movie was made in 2023 kinda a bad year And was going to be released in the worst year 2024 it's not technically a 2025 movie, to begin with
Wahlberg lowkey kinda looks like the german Olaf Scholz in this movie
I swear I read “I just watched my first BALD Movie of 2025” 😂😂😂😂
3c you should do a review for presence would like to hear your thoughts on it.
Braveheart in history class is so fr, unfortunately that didn’t happen to me
My dyslexic ass read “first bald movie” lmao
Hacksaw Ridge is a masterpiece, wait what are we talking about?
Cris said a solid movie
@@Micosanmiguel Ah yeah right right right
Something seems fishy when Mel Gibson one of the best out there makes a short little action thriller that comes out days after Trump names him a Hollywood ambassador and now critics are bashing his movie… liberal losers
Chris your timing was that bad you uploaded this video just as me and my partner put our phones on silent to watch the movie, I was dreading what the next hour and a half would be
My First Bad Movie Of 2025 Was 2020's We Can Be Heroes and I lost Brain Cells watching that movie for starters the fact that Sharkboy and Lavagirl actually you know had Sex Is enough to make 2000's Kids and Pedophiles green with envy and this one character Acapella her mom was clearly Giselle from Disney's Enchanted as long as her father Isn't Nick Cannon the one thing that really got my Goat the main Lead the little girl who's father was Pedro Pascal didn't develop Superpowers like Will Stronghold In 2005's Sky High and to end this the character Wildcard was a blatant ripoff of Legion from Marvel Comics who was adapted for the FX Network In 2017 which I never saw but still terrible movie actually got Dumber from It
Looks like a good movie I can't wait to see it! Looks like a classic to me! ❤❤❤
before the "Avoid it" rank make a "pirate it" rank lmao
Mark will shave his head for this but won’t grow a mustache for Uncharted 😂
Lol ... I didn't even read the title I clicked on it because of the thumbnail. 😄
Once I saw his hairstyle, I knew better not to watch this
1:01 Topher Grace killed it in his twilight zone episode a few years back!
I quit when the “Marshall” was asking obvious questions to sniff the villain out. I hate that writers can’t be cleaver to move the plot 🙄🥱
I worked on Cessna planes at AIM, and I don't recall it having that much space inside. I might be wrong 😅.
When you don’t like a movie the review video always has me dead 🤣💀
I wasnt expecting much. Even Mel Gibson said the movie isnt good and is meant to just be dumb fun.
3:30 Why does Topher grace sound like Jim Carrey Grinch and Heath Ledger Joker mixed together
This movie was COMPLETE ASSSSSSSSS. I’m so mad I wasted my evening, only to be tortured to sit through this AI mess.
Saw this tonight and really enjoyed it.
Me also… it was good to me
I think all of us new this was gonna fail miserablyXD
I wouldn't of clicked on this if it wasn't for the title😂
the only reason i sat through this movie is because i watched it in 4DX
Did you enjoy it? I couldn't hate it more.
Did you attended the into the deep Premire? I want a reaction to that because Scout Taylor Compton is my fav actress n need to know if it’s worth it.
Another day with peak Chris good
Waiting for Dogman, that looks fire
Just got out the theater. THE WORST ENDING IVE SEEN IN YEARS. They didn't even finish the f**kin movie😂😂😂
dang i was hoping this was good, i think ill still enjoy it cause i like topher grace and rooting for Mel since we need more of his types in 'hollywood'
Got to admit that hit your mark skit was funny
I actually enjoyed this film.
Did u know that 3c films out of context 2 is coming soon?
we watched apocalypto when there was a sub once🤣
