Wurzel was my drinking buddy in Islington London where he lived. He and fellow musicians would play free local Sunday afternoon pub sessions in pubs like The Baring Arms and The Two's and other local pubs.He was a funny fucker and he was a really nice bloke,a true Gent, and became a Horticulturist, working for Rupert Murdoch's Sky Corporation.Still miss you Wurz .Rest in peace my good friend.
I love Eddie Clarke. Its my favourite guitarist cuz he showed me the way in fast playing and many licks but i need to say Würzel was best guitarist in Motorhead! This Speed, this technic... Crazy guy... RIP Würzel! I hope we will play once together!
shame I was born in '92..... He has been quite a heavy influence on my musical taste and guitar playing.... something that is special to me though. Motorhead's March or Die was realeased the day before I was born.
He wasn't just an awesome guitarist but also a pretty good singer. It would have been great if Lemmy had allowed him to sing lead vocals on a couple of tracks.

You’re right,I met him too because our girlfriends were (and still are) good friends and Wurz was a real sweetheart,a gentle soul indeed
That's nice to know.I saw Gemma two weeks ago.
She gave me one of Wurzel's old business cards which was pretty rude but funny too.
@@mjh5437 Probably best not watch the Mikkey Dee interview where he mentions Wurzel and his wife..
@@mark-wh2qcdidn't he say his wife is the reason he left motörhead
@@MrChillguy7 Yes, she didn't want him in the band anymore...

Best ear splitting solos ever! Thanks for being a true original 👍🏻.I will never forget meeting you in 87. You were funny and a gentleman.
Rock the hell out of heaven, Würzel!
his solo EP is awesome... Bad what I heard it so late. Wurzel, you're an absolute genius. R.I.P...

RIP, may your music live forever xx
R.I.P. Wurzel, 1 ago...We miss you so much....
I had the original Vinyl EP. Bought in London. Unfortunately lost this perle during the Decades.
according to Lemmy, Wurzel was never that fond of singing... his voice sounds pretty good to me here though... RIP
This is a great tune. RIP Wurzel.

do any of his friends from Cheltenham know where Paul Dutton is? A good friend I'd like to meet again, Paul!
ROCK IN PEACE !!!!
Could someone write me the lyrics from this song? Thanks from Chile!
Rip fella
a great thin lizzyesque vibe !!!
Well Brian Robertson played with both bands.
@@timsanderson5572 oh , what a scoop !!!
Did Lemmy and the other Motorhead members play on this one?
no
@showlogicprod thanks
Was he really such a bad guitarist like Phil and others say?
No he was brilliant. When did Phil criticise him ?
I think Ted Nugent did that album cover on Free For All, just better 🤭
