My Dad passed away just a few months before Lemmy did. If he was alive when Lemmy passed away he would have been shocked, because he loved Motörhead. Tell you what, my Dad was a great drummer too. I hope he got to meet Lemmy in heaven and make some music together. R.I.P Lemmy and R.I.P Dad. \m/

Man it's called "home" I've been twice so I'd know, and to explain it..I'd have better luck explaining a rainbow to a blind man. Once you get to the end of the tunnel and absorb into that light, it's all love. It's like you've been asleep and wake up, can't remember the dream (life on earth in a way is just a dream) you experience the other side in ethereal form, life is a cosmic giggle on the breath of the universe. It's all about love man, just love each other, act from love not for love.

Lemmy was genuine. He was proof you could be a badass rock n roller and not be a douche at the same time. RIP King!
I think that is probably it. Lemmy seems to have been a genuinely nice guy. In contrast to many rock stars. And unselfish; he recorded vocals for Richard Kruspe while he was very ill. Rammstein seems like nice guys as well, but in Lemmy's generation he was very unique, his friend Ozzy might have been as well, but he was so f*ed up that... I dunno. Lemmy was unique. And I am not a Motörhead fan. I just like Lemmy.

you cant not love lemmy, even people who don't like the music must agree he is just an all around great guy. got a motorhead tattoo one week after lemmy died, would have been sooner but i was just to shocked to think straight, I mean I grew up with him leading my life and then out of nowhere a man who many look up to is gone, that hurts deeply (PS, in the true spirit of motorhead im high on speed while i wright this) he will live on in the hearts and minds of millions.

+Antichrist2000 i spent my morning yesterday watching his funeral on our smart tv. Made me miss him even more seeing how he made people feel and how he was with not only people in his camp but everyone in general. There will truly never be another like him. Ive been lucky enough to live during a time when those musicians, those pioneering musicians, creators, ground breaker/earthshakers were alive. I came around in 71 so they are all older than i am and having had the pleasure to walk the earth the same tine as them i also/ we also have to bear the pain of seeing or gearing about em leaving. its hard in a weird way. not like i know em but they kinda feel like family. i started listening to Mötorhead in 1982. I was 11 years old. My Dad was a high school music teacher so i got turned on to good music when i was young. Started with Zeppelin and Sabbath, then i heard Judas Priest's unleashed in the east album and in 82 i heard the Ace of Spades and have been a Mötorhead fan ever since. Lemmy was larger than life and one of those kind of people that dont come around very often. sorry for your loss. sounds like you feel the way i do about him
+Antichrist2000 yes...now we lose Bowie. and as much as we all joke around about him outliving everybody someday its going to be Keith, and a host of others. At least we have all the videos, the music, stories, mags, interviews etc. Your sure right about Lemmy. Might sound funny to some people but he was a heck of a good role model. hehe. I guess we were pretty lucky to have him for as long as we did.

I was devastated for a week when I heard he died.
