  • Lightroom Tone Curve & Edit Walkthrough
    -------------------------------------------------------------------
In this video we look at Lightroom's Tone Curve and discover how less is certainly more and how it doesn't just deal with black, white and grey tones and their contrasts, but it can lift and tone colours too.
We then walk through a few edits which include the use of the tone curve globally as well as local adjustment, with masking.
All the images we use can be downloaded from the link below.

For info: The version of Lightroom used in this video is Lightroom Classic 2024 (v13.1)

Great video Mark. Love how you give us access to the sample pics so we can press pause and try the techniques out for ourselves. Far better than just watching someone do it on screen. Keep up the good work.

Very useful. This will save me a lot of fiddling with the curve! Thanks Mark.

Thank you for another well explained and demonstrated video Mark . The tone curve section having more range than the ‘conventional’ sliders is of value in the edit process for sure .

Great video. It is fantastic to compare an equalizer. That made a lot of sense with having a lot of points. Working without moving the whole curve. Thank you.
