Great video . Was thinking about wirelessly controlled when accidently came across one on ebay . Never knew they existed . Glad i seen this vid so thanks.. so for me basically buy this type.. a bracket to mount which they alraeady make one for my supernova fx . And a battery . 😂 oh and yours does have a reverse . Its a 360 spin shaft for reverse . Just remeber to respin the other way after to not tangle the cables . Tight lines
Thanks for watching! I found "reverse" the first time going out 😅. I love it! Have had some minor issues with the remote, but just bought a spare. Also, upgraded to a Tracker Lithium 60ah battery. Works great!
Great video and looks like just the option (a transom mount wireless trolling motor) I've been seeking for my Old Town PDL 120. Do you happen to have the actual weight of the unit? And, have you done any on the water type testing for speed, battery life with the 60 amp hour, etc.? Thanks!
does it limit how far you turn it around? i monted a minn kota like that on the transom and you can twist it around and around pain in the but if you forget where the motor is sitting when you turn it off
Did you rig something up to pull it up out of the water from your seat. I installed the same one now trying to rig something up to pull it out of the water. Please let me know
@@fishincommish thank you so much that looks pretty straightforward i definitely would have over complicated my set up but this will save me a lot of time. Thanks again
Honestly speaking. The best video and trolling motor I have seen on youtube. Great job!
Wow, thank you!
Nice looking motor & great install. Seems pretty rock solid. The Amazon purchase was pretty amusing.
excellent

Apologies for the late reply...kept forgetting to weigh it. It's just under 26lbs. I did a speed test in another video and got up to almost 4.5 mph.
How long is that shaft? Consider getting one
@@bayarea15scalerc14 if I remember correctly, it's 26"
Thinking about getting this how is it holding up?
@TattmanFishing still running strong! I love it!!
@ thank you I think I’ll give it a shot
Just out of curiosity what is the measurement of the distance between the 2 mounting screws on the motor?
@@rickmanning9561 are you talking about the round ones that hold it to the mount?
How do u raise the motor while in the water ?
Working on that...
Did a video recently with the lift I set up.

Is the steering backwards, since its on the stern instead of the bow?
No, it's built for the transom.
Do you still have or use this trolling motor?
@@BrandonHughes-g7m I do. Love it!

It didn't when I took it out. That video should be coming out this weekend. I did turn it farther than I thought and accidentally went backwards 😅
What battery do u use?
Tracker Lithium, 60ah
