I need major help ! I bought this one. I connected the trolling motor to the remote but the motor doesn’t do the commands. Also not light showing on the 25% 50% 100% whatever labels. Is my battery just not charged enough ?
Thanks for the video. A Haswing Cayman 55 came on a used boat I purchased and I didn't get any documentation. Mine will not lock in place after I deploy it in the water. That is, the small metal chrome hooks don't latch over the metal rod/dowel. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or a part is broken. Do you know? Any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.
As it turns out the only reason my latch hooks would not latch when the motor was lowered is because the springs had lost all tension, or at least there was fatigue or the loss of tension in the spring to the degree it would no longer latch in place. I got replacements "free" but $25 shipping ??? from Aquos. Just wanted to relate this in case someone else has the same problem.
It's a twitchy unit. I would spend the extra money on a Min Kota. The remote needs to be repaired to the head unit at least 3 times ever fishing trip. The drive collar cracked last summer. I'm going to make a follow up video this spring
This isn't my video but I have the 80lb saltwater edition remote control little over a year and cannot get it to respond to the foot control nor the remote .. contacted clayman people by email they asked to take a video of what was wrong with it and how I had it wired up they have know one in U.S. to do any work on them. It work great for bout 6 months before it started messing up. Now the on thing I can get it to do is turn 1 way the motor will not come on . I would not recommend buying anything that there is no where for repairs. Reckon it was a $700.00 mistake on my part.. buyer beware
@@pevdummy can you be more descriptive? im considering purchasing the newer model with gps anchor. its 900 the garmin is 3000. i dont want to waste my money, but i dont want to over pay for somethign that can be had for 1/3 the price.

You have to pair the remote. There should be a little radio wave looking button on the motor base. Press that and the remote pair button

Go MN. I'm going to do a year in review shortly but my motor is not working very well.
I'm looking into getting either this 80lb or the 55lb Haswing....how is it holding up so far? Yours does not have the GPS spot lock does it?
