I bought this motor after watching your first video thanks I don’t tilt mine I raise it up and down with a single cord a couple of pulleys and a cleat works great for me. Thanks again for posting about this motor it’s a game changer.
Mine arrives tomorrow, I used that method on my newport, I didn't think it would work on the haswing because of the remote steering. What you connect your static lines to ?
I just bought the same motor for my Kaku Wahoo and will be installing it this week as I have to build a motor mount on the back. I’m going to do some thing similar to what you did. I will keep you posted. Thanks.
I just looked up Kaku Kayaks and those look real cool! I had never heard of them. Please share some pics after you add the Haswing Cayman. I would love to see it rigged!
@miked6252 I haven't run it real far without stopping. I did just tow a buddy in his 10' kayak because the river started up the 2nd generator and he would have struggled alot trying to paddle against the current. Handled it fine but that's probably the toughest test I've done. Probably pulled him over a mile
@Fishawnguideservice still working! I may have to use a different type of cable soon. I noticed the plastic coating coming off the wire a little where it goes through the guides under the seat.
Hope that motor doesn’t get confused and turn all the way around one good time with that clothesline hooked to it. That would be a mess. 360+ degrees would lock that rascal down with the current lift attachment point

Nice! I've seen some on TH-cam that did the straight up lift. Well done! I love the Haswing Cayman!

Walmart.com has it without the foot pedal for $549. That's where I bought mine from.
