    Hello Trent, Very Nice...Enjoying your videos. Question can you make a video on how to use grids to make monogram logo designs with Affinity? I have searched but could not find any for affinity in a step by step format like your videos. Thanks again for the vids!

    Hello Trent, recently started using Affinity Design and I noticed that fine (background) line It's even there when applying some strokes on the outside. It is quite annoying because it forces you to do something sometimes that alters the overal effect of what you want to achieve. I hope they eventually work this out and implement a solution. Thx for the great tutorial.

      One way to overcome this issue is to click on the cog icon next to blend options and change the default anti-aliasing from inherit to force off.

    Theres always a gap between objects when i snap them. How do I remove it?

    • @TechnicallyTrent

      Hi Lime, yes, that can sometimes happen due to anti-aliasing and pixel alignment. There is some discussion about it in this thread. Some people have solved it for horizontal and vertical alignment. But if aligning diagonally, you may need to slightly overlap the shapes to solve it:

      Hope this helps!

    trying to snap objects that I have rotated makes me want to eat human dogs

    • @TechnicallyTrent
      @TechnicallyTrent  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it can be tricky. I haven't tried it lately, but one option may be to rotate them both to their original orientation, snap them, and then rotate back to the rotated position.
