Very helpful trying to get to grips with infinity publisher. As I have been a Quark Express user since 1989 on a small Mac those days

4:07 A great advantage of Affinity apps is that you don't need to double-click anymore. One click is totally enough to enter any numeric field and to select its content simultaneously.

4 years asking & still waiting to be able to change the colour of ruler guides, blue is a pain with some documents, we can change margin and column guide colours so WHY NOT RULER GUIDES ???
yes the new improvements are very good but come on Serif ... how hard can it be ?

I can tell from this video that you can position the rulers at 1/10th mm increments. My up-to-date desktop version only does 1mm increments, also in 'document set-up' for document sizes. My iPad version works well, I can put a ruler at 135,5 mm and I can set up a document of 125,5 x 335,5 mm. But when I then open the document in the desktop version, these sizes are changed into whole mm numbers. I hope there is a simple answer...

Hi @LotsPots_amsterdam Sorry to hear you've been struggling a little. I may have misunderstood, so my apologies if I have but the rulers should scale when zooming in and out of a document. Simply zooming in may give you the finite control you're after. Alternatively for numerically accurate guides I would recommend using the guide manager instead. It may be easer than drawing out ruler guides using the mouse. Hope this helps.

What if we want the whole document to have column guide instead of just 1 page

Hi @harshbehary10 , Thank you for your question. My advice in this situation would be to create a a new master page specifically for column guides. Apply your column
guides to the master page and then apply that master page to the rest of your document.
      Hope this helps.

Hi @hassaneinaliraqi5000, Sorry to hear you've been struggling. Can I just check, are your ruler guides visible. If you go to the 'View' top menu and scroll down to 'Show Guides' do they now appear?
