hi, when you press four fingers to the screen- what do you do when you are on desktop version instead holding 4 fingers? (great tutorials by the way )

Well it depends the next step. Usually on desktop it is a combination of ALT + SHIFT + SPACEBAR to move the entire path before you continue drawing. I hope that's what you are looking for. Thank you! 😀 👋

I know you can auto close the pencil tool but is there a way to turn on auto close for the pen tool as well? Can you use auto close with the pen tool where every dot you drop on the canvas it closes with a color fill like the pencil tool?

When you start using the Pen tool and drawing smooth points, tapping on the very last anchor point will automatically close the path for you. Is that what you are looking for? 😊👋

Yes that's exactly what I needed thank you. My affinity designer 2 on ipad however seems to have a bug or something though cause when I close the pen tool at the last point, it closes the way I want with a color fill inside BUT whenever I deselect it and try to do it again, in the color section the blank ( / ) color thingy keeps on changing back by itself to being blank fill meaning no color goes inside the close points. If I take the color off blank slash and chose a color, it goes back to being blank by itself. That's causing the prob when I close to fill but anyway thank you and I'm glad to know the pen tool can close fill as well.

​@EliasSarantopoulos Hey it turns out it wasn't a bug after all. The prob was me not knowing what I was doing. I didn't turn on use fill. Now it works perfectly. Ha thanks again sir.😂
