Thanks so much for the kind comment. I have a lot of antiques in my house so stark white would never work for me. I was inspired by Lori Holt but had to rethink to make it a little more fitting for our home.

But I would take a dozen rooms like your before I would have one with everything new. Your room has so much character it is wonderful. It was a while coming but so worth the wait. Yes I am! For years and years the dining room table was my place to sew. It was a struggle. When we remodeled the foreclosure house we bought, my husband insisted on a large sewing room for me! He was a great guy.

There's a door in the sewing room that will eventually lead to a deck on the upstairs so we used a fancy lift to lift the upstairs furniture and the long arm up through the door when we moved in 2014.
Lovely room, I love the contrasting pieces of furniture and variety of color you combined in the entire room, i really like the light you have above the sewing machines , I really need to invest in a couple of those and would like to know where you buy them or the name or description of it. I just found your videos your flosstube came up and I do a lot of crossstitch and have a flosstube but I want to do some quilting and wool appliqué. I watched this one first because I do enjoy seeing others rooms and yours is awesome. Blessings
What a great room!!! I think Rosie is in love with the camera. My two kids would run the other way even though like Rosie they have to be around me, they're just camera shy. I would love to have a room that big and a large closet! My largest closet is 3 feet wide and only the depth of a coat hanger. How do you like your Millie? I'm in the process of looking at long arms. You have such great vintage fines. My big island is a combination of drawers from a water bed stacked on top of each other on wheels with the big top.
I love my Milly. I've not had any problems with it at all and I'm getting close to having her for 10 years. We put an addition on our house and the sewing room was added then.
Oh I love how your sewing room turned out. A lot of work and planning went into that space, you can tell. I'm so happy for you. Nothing better than being organized in your hobby area. I LOVE being able to walk in my room and find just what I need. I think you will find you will be even more productive with this "new space".
