    I had everything set medium except textures at high in chapter one and was getting 70+ fps.. by chapter 2 I was getting big frame drops into the 30s/40s had to turn everything but textures to low to stay above 60fps.. hoping performance doesn’t get any worse into the next chapters as my only option will be to crank up the resolution scaling and make the game look blurry af lol

    Much more helpful than most videos on this topic! I will say tho, I don’t think anything can help my frame rate in chapter 6 on the cloud… drops by damn near 20-30 frames but otherwise it’s mostly around 70

    This is cool. I've been running this game at like 90~100 fps with everything Very High, 60% DLSS, and with RT on Very High with FG On at 1440p. The frame generation of my 4070 Super or rather the 4000 series is really helpful cause it lets me do more insane settings without losing a lot. Just be careful with Frame Generation as if you play this game with FG at lower FPS, you will see a lot of noise from the AI generation. It's not noticeable on my end cause If i turn it off, I get like 75ish fps so it's still pretty smooth. It just becomes ugly if you're like on 50 FPS trying to push it to 60 with Frame Generation.

    the clouds in prologue or somersault cloud is pixelated how do I fix this

      For that you have to either raise the Visual Effects setting or increase render resolution (upscaler quality). Visual Effects controls the cloud resolution, and the upscalers do a pretty bad job of upscaling particle clouds.

    Playing with rtx4070ti super with cinematic settings and very high raytracing and of-course with frame gen...looks beautiful, smooth at 60fps mostly

    You can install a universal dlss to fsr3 frame gen mod on nexus, although it seems after using it enough the frame generation doesnt match up with DLSS enough and there are visible waves on the edges of the screen from what I've noticed, maybe its a personal issue, that being said the performance does seem better than fsr frame gen if only a little

      with that equipped, i can run with FG off
      and cause of 1660 Super, i can only run "Recommand Low" and have fluid experience in Chap. 1 environment 🤣

    Someone Tells me Which Texture Quality Setting is Good for Rx 5600 xt cause it has 6GB Vram so I am a little bit Confused 😅 so Please Help me

    • @SerifSundown
      @SerifSundown  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'd guess Medium. You should be able to check your VRAM usage while playing by looking at "Dedicated GPU memory" in the performance tab of Windows Task Manager and seeing if you're over 6GB. On my PC, in chapter 1, I was seeing around 5.8GB on Medium and 6.1 GB on High textures.

    i played the whole game with cinematic preset 🤔3440 x 1440 res. maybe it runs better on amd

    • @lanoche
      @lanoche 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well you don't have Ray Tracing to worry about since it's an amd card lmao. That takes a lot of performance. I only play at 1440p but I do have Ray Tracing on at Very High and let me tell you the game feels a lot different with RT on and off especially if you play this game with RT on then you turned it off. You notice a lot of places suddenly get darker and cutscene shadows looking really choppy.

    As much as I hate to say, unreal engine 5 is highly unoptimized also with graphical glitches.
    The game itself is amazing though. You look at RDR 2, how amazing that game looks. Wukong is not even close to that yet it devours performance like nothing.

    • @Im1ofTh3m
      @Im1ofTh3m 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I know. Funny I just came from RDR2 and trying to optimize those settings was a task indeed. When I finally got it to look good with at least 60fps it felt almost identical to beating a DS boss lol. Now I’m at it again with BM:W. Probably a sign to upgrade soon.
