A saying I always appreciate is that you know if someone understands a topic well if they can break it down well enough for anyone to understand. Some people are saying this feels like a middle school presentation, but that’s a good thing because the fact that it’s presented in such an understandable way is what makes someone 1) Knowledgeable on the subject, and 2) A great educator. Some of the classes I remember the most throughout my entire life were with middle school teachers that just knew how to break down the information. I also laughed pretty hard at the “you were supposed to like this. Why is everyone freaking out” 🤣🤣🤣

Hi, I'm in fisheries too! This is very interesting.... I have a few questions. First, what species of lumpsuckers are used in freshwater aquaculture/ what species seem to be more effective? Second, are the lumpsuckers hard to rear/ are they reared on hatchery or are they obtained through outside sources? Lastly, do you think these fellas can make their way into state, or even federal, hatcheries - if not, why not? Thank you for the cool video and awesome information!

I would like to see your list of favorite fish, living and extinct. From your videos we know that ceolocanth (sorry for incorrect spelling) and morray eels are on the top, with Mola Mola and redtail catfish as well.

I’m studying wildlife biology at UMSL. Loving your channel dude! I just watched a pretty awesome video called Extinct or Alive: Jaws of Alaska thought you might like it because it’s fish related. The scientist running it is Forrest Galante he’s my all time favorite biologist and he finds species deemed extinct
