Great tips! It is amazing how clean they can cut up your fly off with those teeth. I caught one at Christmas Island and my fly looked like someone did a bad trim job with a pair of scissors. Definitely don't want to get your fingers in those jaws.
I guess what I'm asking more than Rod / species is Rod selection for fly size. And how to cast bigger flies in the wind I have had particular trouble with this
Mr Joe are you using a floating line? How far should you be able to cast doing flats fishing, its seems like a tough deal if its with floating line but I suppose thats why the heavy 10 wt line.

Your videos get better every time. I would love to hear more about your Rod selection as far as fast vs. Slow and why for species
Thanks for the kind feedback, yes, that is a good question. Obviously situations can vary on the daily, but I do have a few preferences in the salt.
Great how to video. Bones be easy. Just ordered a bunch gear from Red’s for barracuda and headed down island in June. Well done.
Have fun and good luck! Thanks for the feedback and I hope you have some action with the toothy critters.
Top man, you're videos best to fishing 😎🤜👍👍👍👍
Try the homer roads loop knot for your wire.
Really informative and helpful. Thanks.
You bet thank you for watching, we do a ton of saltwater fishing and have a huge inventory.

Seems like a lot of the same principles of pike fishing would apply here.
