Here in southern California we have barracuda. Pretty light weight compared to the great barris you have in FL.
Ive always wondered if the tube style lures would work out.
Ill try to tho some next sping.

Are you trying for that slight bend in the tube when finished?

You DO want a slight bend/tension in the tube, this gives it the motion we're looking for when being stripped in. The best way to achieve it is to store it on a spool or pull slight tension when it is measured to be tied in.
