You have no idea how stoked I am to binge watch this playlist next week. Thank you for making these! Your discrete math playlist is saving me so much time (having to filter through The Book of Proof for main concepts takes fucking forever). Cheers, WWU CS major.
@@thesouthsidedev1812 wow time flies. I can report I am gainfully employed as a machine learning engineer and pretty much constantly running vectorized math (neural nets) on GPU clusters :D
@@devlanhorner1451 No, just BS in CS. But I think I got lucky with the timing. I got into neural networks right as they were becoming popular (back in 2015/16 around the time I wrote that og comment) and then sort of rode the wave up (joined a research lab that later exploded in popularity). In many ways it feels like being an early (and perhaps undereducated) employee at a now large company. All but one other person (a friend of mine who's app I pushed hard on) I've worked on the same team with has had a PhD (sometimes even a professorship) in a computational or engineering discipline.
And there we go. Another super underrated channel. Why yt does does not recommend me such channels even if I watch such stuff. U are superbbb Edit: I just saw when it was made and it hekking blew my mind. Why god why am I lateee
Taking linear algebra this coming semester! Your discrete math 2 videos really helped me grasp concepts and I'm looking forward to watching all these linear algebra videos as preview material before my course starts. I'll also be looking at these during semester of course ;) Thanks for being awesome and tutoring all of us visa youtube Trev!
That's because they must be. But I'm glad to have access to other more practical sources which bring me in a gradual way to the comprehension of the books' formal writing.
There are a few numerical errors in some of the videos, but I hope the concepts and everything help! Doing arithmetic while talking was hard back in the day haha.
THis is So helpful. Thank you so much! This is a great review for my LA class at Uni. The lectures are not in as much depth but they are good for quick review
at6:12 the value for x2 is actually inconsistent as if you try to answer the second equation you get x2 to be 5. i think there is an issue with the question
Hi, Trev the videos are very helpful. Could you please confirm which Standard textbook you are following for Linear Algebra? There are lot of proofs in Linear algebra by Hoffman and Kunze are somewhat difficult to grasp. Could you please cover some more proofs for LA?
Thanks for there wonderful explanation. I previously worked on some problems with some books but didnt understand the difference until I watched your these video. Thanks for your contribution to humanity.
What is a good order to study /restudy higher level math in? I got through calculus in college (in ancient times), enjoyed it and did well but forgot it all. Now I want to learn more and re-learn what I forgot. I am a programmer with an interest in machine learning.
Hello trev! I'm ur new subscriber. Actually I came to ur channel for geometric representation of linear transformation and also watched this linear algebra playlist. Just wanna ask are you following standard reference by David. C lay? I'm currently doing that book and i think u also following that same reference! :))) Btw ur videos r very helpful! Thank ya for these short, simple & brilliant lectures!!! Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳💟
Im doing BSc Mathematics and Computer Science distance learning via UNISA mybe we can study some.and Trevor is a great help for us😊📚..Trevor has passion for teaching and teaching it an art not a Job to him..I love u ❣️ Trevor

Watching this playlist like a week before the exam at Linear Algebra...Thanks man without you i'll be gone. Wish me luck, i need it
how you did on it thoooo???

Did you find it helpful? :)
i feel like you should have been my professor because the break down right now is saving me. thank you so much for this.
You sir should actually be the professor at our Uni. Thanks so much!
Taking linear algebra this year. It's fun, but books are always meticulous. Just going to watch the best simplified explanations :)
That's because they must be. But I'm glad to have access to other more practical sources which bring me in a gradual way to the comprehension of the books' formal writing.
I have saved your channel for a long time waiting for this summer to teach myself linear algebra! I love your videos, clear and concise❤❤❤

@@Trevtutor Yep! I can imagine that. But no worries. Numerical parts are not my focus. Thank you for making these videos and replying to my comment!

Great job. Better then most videos I've seen
man i sawer i spend more than 4 hours yesterday trying to understand it yesterday, with your video i can teach it now 😂, thanks a lot
Thanks for the education. I love your expression style.
Thank you so much for explaining this concept to me!
You are who I want to be in future.
Any chance you'll do a trig series?

You should do a series on complex numbers!!11??!?

nice mic quality 👍and tutorial
Very helpful, keep it up. Could you possibly do more CALC 2 ?
Possibly. I've had a lot of work recently and still need to finish up Linear Algebra and Mathematical Linguistics before committing to another series.

ARE you an online tutor?
super !
Hello, I have a question, is Vectorgeometry required for this course? I‘ve learned Vectors only in 2D (Axes x and y) not in 3D (Axes x,y,z). Thanks
Vectors are taught in this course
TheTrevTutor thank you so much:-)
Can someone plz help me? Where can I find Linear Algebra2 videos?
what is the Prerequisites for this course
Pretty much just high school algebra
Mistake at : 5:48 x1 = 2/3 and x2 = 11/3
Is calculus a prerequisite for this course?
Nahh
did you have a cs degree too? because these math courses are needed in cs class and i suck at math :(
Nope. Arts and Social Sciences -- Cognitive Science.

Nice video, but you didn't really explain the word "linear".

Wait, is he making simple mistakes?
You lost my respect when you used m=rows and j=rows, it's usually reversed. It's not wrong, but it looks weird doing it that way.
